✓ Needs updating!I have used this app for many years and now with the holidays upon us I wanted to make some of my favorite recipes, the app will not even open with the newest iPhone updates! The developers web page is no longer available. Extremely disappointed and can’t even get to recipes to send to email and have a least a physical copy and go old school!.Version: 1.15
✓ This was a really great app.That last upgrade ruined the app. The photos, make it way too long to load, and the grocery list update is bad. Too many catergories and they are NOT correct. It put my angostura bitters in the cheese section, as well as many other errors. Please fix. It was the perfect little app before. Simple and easy..Version: 0
✓ Disappointing.There are only 3 categories to list your recipes. Main, sides and desserts. I miss read the description and thought the "key" was all the categories. There needs to be more, soups, salads, baking etc. Also a metric / imperial conversion would be helpful..Version: 0

✓ Does exactly what I needThis Ap may not be all walking and talking, but is exactly what I needed, something where I could keep all the recipes I find in magazines without having loads of clippings, and that was also with me when I needed to think of dinner and what I needed to buy for specific recipes. It also means that when I'm at my partners house, I don't have to rely on just the recipes I know off by heart, and with the Bump feature, I can type up the recipe on my iPad then Bump it over to my iPhone..Version: 1.15
✓ Pretty BADA pretty BAD app for basic recipe needs. I HATE the fact that it doesn't back up to iCloud and have just lost all my recipes which took years to collect. What app doesn't have cloud backup these days? I may as well pull out the old parchment and inkwell.Version: 1.15
✓ Lost all my recipesI had the app before this big update and had all my recipes on it. Used it everyday. Then, once the phone updated I couldn’t use the app anymore but kept the app. Finally, I got the update and when I opened it yesterday all my recipes were gone. I’m one sad cook 🙁.Version: 2.0

✓ Attractive App!Nice app but has a few glitches! It doesn't allow me to add in edit mode and additional directions when cutting and pasting! It allows one cut and paste and that's it. When tried to paste an additional paragraph to precious one, it froze the whole app. It also does not amend the measuring amounts when you alter the serving sizes on the newly added recipes. It works on the recipes that came with the app but not on the added ones:-(.Version: 0

✓ No Cloud Sync makes this app difficultCan't get that silly bump thing to work between iPhone and iPad. It's hard to read a recipe off the small phone. Wanted to transfer to iPad but no joy. Yes I tried having Bluetooth on/off, wireless on/off, restarts blah blah ... All it did was waste my precious time. Now I'm looking for a recipe app that syncs..Version: 1.15
✓ Good so far but a few areas for improvementThe display is excellent and easy to use. I wanted this for my own recipes rather than as a cookbook so is ideal. It could be improved in 3 respects: 1. adding ingredients is long winded with the need to close keyboard and save each addition, a next ingredient option would be better; 2. not being able to edit ingredients apart from delete and re-enter. If a mistake in quantity is made a simple edit is preferable; 3. Automatic uppercase after full stop/period would be should be the default. Can't think why this isn't available..Version: 0
✓ Unable to save ingredientsI have just purchased this app fairly easy to use until you want to add ingredients. It won’t let you save and then it crashes and won’t let you get out of it. You have to close the app down and reopen, ingredients you think you have saved aren’t there..Version: 2.1
✓ Can't add an image!I am unable to add images to my recipes, please fix! I don't have very many recipes loaded yet so far seems to be working fine. Small glitches here and there but nothing serious, hey find out quite useful for storing, saving and managing my recipes..Version: 1.15

✓ ReliabilityI’ve tried adding and editing recipes and it won’t save. Also, I have app on iPhone and iPad and they are not syncing. I have 3 recipes on my iPhone that are not on the iPad and about 30 recipes on my iPad that are not on my iPhone. If this app is no longer viable, please let me know and I’ll find a different on..Version: 2.1

✓ It's ok... But, I would LOVE it if.....Ok, don't get me wrong - I do like it. But, I have a STACK of paper recipes that I want to import. So, it's going to be a long while for this to be super useful. I use Adobe and recognize the text. Then, I copy it i to the app. Its abit laborious! But I can cope with that. What,I DON'T like is that items in the shopping list have to be added MANUALLY! What I would love is if the items in the ingredient list could be checked and then added to the shopping list automatically! Please continue to improve this!.Version: 1.15

✓ Used to be Great, what happened?Used to work great, when I entered a recipe on my ipad, it appeared on my iphone...no longer...when was the last update/bug fix? Seems to no longer back up either. ✓ Not bad, but form more than function...This app shows a great deal of promise, and actually looks very polished from start up. However, there are a few issues that, if addressed in an update, would make it much more useful. PROS: 1. Intuitive interface - easy to navigate, and controls (usually) where expected. 2. Servings scaler - very good idea; useful and well implemented. 3. Ingredients saved to list - one of the main features I searched for when first choosing this app. Nicely done. 4. Emailing recipes & shopping lists - not something I considered necessary, but I can see times when it could be a help. CONS: 1. Overall appearance - style over substance. Even with 20/20 vision, reading small white text on black is much more difficult than reading black on white. I understand keeping font size small to allow more text per page, but changing font size, font colour, and/or background colour would make this MUCH easier. Sample pages show black on light page (for editing), but I couldn't find this option. Would be great. 2. No ingredient list - having a user-made database to store frequently used ingredients would be useful. A similar recipe app on my old Palm T5 had this feature, and it saved a lot of time. 3. No ingredient editing - this has been mentioned by another reviewer, anc I agree this should be possible. I have looked for, but not yet found, the ideal recipe app. "AllMyRecipes" is pretty good, but with some interface adjustments could be really great..Version: 0
✓ Functional but clunky and flawedThis app does enable you to store your recipes, but the there are enough errors and inelegant elements of the interface for it to be annoying to use. For instance, when trying to edit and imported description, there is no way I save the edits because the keyboard obscures the save button. This is just one way the program either fails or achieves what it does in an ugly, clunky way..Version: 1.15

✓ Love this app but needs to be updatedI absolutely loooove this app....BUT I have received Information stating it will no longer work when I do my next available update, which is available now! Please do what it is that you need to do so I can update my iPhone and still keep this app. I really love it but am afraid I might need to find another one because of the fact that it evidently isn't kept current with the phone updates!! ✓ Needs work!Wanted to add my own recipes. Tried import feature which sort of worked. Lots of effort to tidy up what had been copied in, does not seem to understand metric. Ignored the little g for grams when allocating ingredients. Navigation around text not easy, accidentally lost what I had done. Deleted existing recipes so I could enter my own, now database keeps crashing. Tried reinstalling but still crashes when I tried to enter things. Platform appears to be unstable! ✓ Good appPretty easy to save online recipes and to bump/sync with iPhone once you work out how to do it. Please add the app to the Mac App store to be able to bump between Mac, ipad & iphone. Would also like to be able to copy/paste recipes from places other than online etc. for example I have many recipes saved in Dropbox and in a folder on my Mac, would like to be able to copy/paste from these as well, also ticked items should automatically go to shopping list please add these suggestions, then would be 5 stars.Version: 1.15
✓ A good effort!I bought this app quite a while a go, so I now have a wide collection of recipes on my iPod. The look of the app is good, but like my fellow reviewers have said, the writing can be very difficult to read. I would change it to black on White, or at least a settings section so you can change it yourself. Actually adding a recipe can take a while. The adding ingredients is very easy, but writing the directions is where you get the most problems. Once you put a full stop, the app carries on writing in lower case, which is a real annoyance! Also, you cannot write in landscape view! When you change the way to organise the recipes, it automatically changes back to the default which is extremely annoying. I like the fact you can email and Bluetooth recipes to your friends, this has come in very handy for me! The shopping feature is also very good! All in all it is a very good app, and a must have in your collection. But if the creators want more downloads, they need to iron out the flaws. If they do that, they'll be on to a winner..Version: 0

✓ Nice App but lost all my recipesI loved this app and entered in a lot recipes using my iPhone but lost them when I upgraded my phone. Because i have this app on my iPad, I thought that I would be able to pull them up on that but I can't. I'm afraid to enter in more recipes because I don't want to lose those too. Does anyone know how to sync the Allmyrecipes App on an iPhone with an iPad? If this can be done, I would give it 5 stars..Version: 1.15
✓ A good basic recipe boxEasy to use and has a good clear display. The ability to back-up online and create shopping lists which can be emailed are good features. I'd like to be able to create a list of ingredients and be able to autofill as I type to take the tedium out of re-typing the same items. It would also be helpful to be able to customize the location of shopping list items in the supermarket, as I prefer to shop by aisle rather than department. If these were tied in with the existing ingredient list there'd be no need to select them every time an ingredient is added to a recipe. It would also be better if each line of the instructions were a separate item which could then be moved around to change the order if required. A search function for ingredients etc would be another improvement I'd like to see. I've tried several recipe programs and this is the best I've found sofar..Version: 1.14
✓ Good but with minor improvements could be excellentFantastic idea, love how it makes meal planning so much easier. On the down side, there are some little changes that could be made easily which would vastly improve the usability of this app. These are: when adding in ingredients, user has to enter info, then save. Takes you back to main screen you then have to click to add another ingredient. It's longwinded. Also auto capitalisation is missing. You can't change an ingredient, you have to delete it first and then add a new ingredient. When you sort the meals it doesn't retain the sort criteria when you change between categories (main, sides,desserts)..Version: 0
✓ No good way to import your own recipesApps are supposed to make your life easier - and this one does not. I've been waiting for 6 months for some good way to import recipes I use - copying and pasting each recipe from an email is too time consuming and tedious!! ✓ Last update was 2012?I opened my app after not using it for a while in order to make an Easter lamb cake recipe of my grandmother's. There were formatting errors in the recipe, perhaps the result of incompatibilities between the app and more recent iOS updates. That's bothersome enough, but the fact that I can't seem to edit those mysteriously changed quantities now makes the app useless, and all the recipes I've stored there suspect. ✓ Good concept, not well executedI like the features, but there are too many bugs/problems. Bringing in a recipe from another source, especially one with two parts, requires a lot of time-consuming editing and correcting. When I made changes (corrections) to the ingredients list, it wouldn't save them. I was successful at bringing in one picture into one recipe, but it never would save one after that. ✓ Needs update!This is a great concept. Comes with several excellent recipes, and importing recipes that are already online isn't difficult. Still, recipes can't be printed (although they can be emailed as an alternative), and the app frequently seizes when sharing between devices. I like to sync between my iphone and ipad, but it takes FOREVER. Since OS8, recipes can no longer be added. If and when the bugs get resolved, I will improve my rating. ✓ Used to be a good appAt leats this app was good when it first came out. Now it is only good for the recipes that are already entered into your recipe book. You cant import a recipe at all. The app just crashes. Even if it didnt crash, you still cant make it through all of the steps to complete a recipe import in the app. So unless you want spend all of you days importing recipes manually ingredient by ingredient, buy a different app..Version: 1.15
