✓ Great starter kit!I've never been able to totally get a full song together because my chord knowledge is so thin. But this free version helped me write a song that would have never been possible before! ✓ Good :)I recently heard scouting for girls saying they used this app to write their new album, although i assume they used the paid version(heard it on the Matt edmondson podcast by the way) So I downloaded it, I liked it! I don't think this versions that great for professionals due to the lack of features, but great for the beginner :).Version: 2.1

✓ I like it!This is helpful! I have studied music theory which makes this app easier to understand, but its cool because it gives a few different key options and it records! And you can delete ant of the chords from the sequence that you want! However, I do wish it gave more chord and key options.Version: 2.2

Needs to be able to put in alternate chords that the user picks in the chord pad area, or custom chords made by the user that can be put into free chord pad slots. At first this app was ok, until I gained a little more theory knowledge and learned how to apply it when using this app. Having it readily available on my iPhone is crucial for when creativity strikes... Please people grow up!%( I was singing and working out the chords by ear late at night on my bed. I've recently begun to get the nack for playing by ear and I've been wanting to spend more time developing that skill so this app., is also helping in this way even though it I'm sure it wasn't created with that in mind. It's excellent for what it's been created for as well don't get me wrong. I would recomend you get the full version though if you're serious about song writing. ✓ EpicThis is a really great app if you write or compose music. Any music composer no matter what genre will tell you chords are the backbone of modern music. It's easy to get stuck half way thru writing a chord progression, but this app makes it easy to string chords together. All it needs is more chords and keys..Version: 0
✓ Great for playing livenice sampled piano, can record and change tempo, has plenty of chords-not all of course, but it's free. Does offer different variations of the chords though...but here's the best part----- When you play back it turns the screen black and shows the chords in big letters as they change. This is great if you gig with a band that plays to a click, or if you're soloing over a phrase. I'll prob get the paid app this week..definitely try it out.Version: 0
✓ Surprisingly worthy.I was skeptical. I started twice to download then thought, no i can't.. I can't sink to that level. Taking the musicianship out of music is not what I want to do. My feeling was, if you need this app, then you've no business being a songwriter. But I've changed my mind. It's just another new format. A new way of thinking, a brainstorming aid, and it's helpful and it's easy and it's pretty so I shouldn't complain!.Version: 2.1
✓ Really usefulI only use the chord pads to work my way through writing. Im a guitar player who can struggle his way through piano chords so writing with a piano is hardly an option.
