✓ A little boring and doesn't reinforceThe idea of the game is great and I love that you can track achievement,but, it is a little boring and fails to reinforce the right answer well enough. The correct answer should attain more than a tiny green check mark and the same amount of monotone verbalization after as the incorrect answer. Ideally the correct answer would, once pressed pop up as the sole picture on the screen describing it and then say for example "you found the circle, great job!!!" A toddler is just gathering this information and doesn't associate with a tiny green check mark as "winning" for a lack of a better word. The game has a really, well lame narration. It sounds more choppy and more monotone than an AT&T operator from 1987..Kristofer LameyVersion: 2.0

✓ DisappointedI bought this app for my 2 1/2 year old, based on the reviews that I read. I think she will grow into it, but it is too old for her right now and game does not offer levels. She plays it and likes it, but unlike the other reviewers über intelligent children, there are other, more age appropriate apps that she does enjoy more. I would not have wasted my money and waited, but I think she will get it more in her threes abd there is nothing wrong with exposure. ✓ No spending coins :(I see this is a common complaint. My two year old loved playing her sisters grade one teach me but too advanced for her so I downloaded toddler teach me but my two year old was so disappointed she couldn't spend her coins because no store like in the grade one version... To find middle ground I then downloaded the kindergarten but still no store :( so disappointing because great learning game otherwise.XostacVersion: 2.4

✓ Font style is badI would rate this at least 4 stars if it weren't for the ridiculous font style. Our childen will never be taught to write their letters in the font style chosen for this app, so why teach them to recognize the letters in this font style, especially as an introduction to the letter. The style chosen is Times New Roman which teaches "g" as a circle on top, an oval on the bottom connected by a small curved line, or the "a", which is taught just as you see here. This is just some of the examples. Our children will not be taught this way in school so why teach them it now? This can be very confusing for young minds. Nowadays they are usually taught the D'Nealian style of writing which helps them into cursive writing later. Why not choose that instead? One other problem I can see is the sounds on some letters are not clear enough, as an example: the sound "v" makes and the sound "b" makes is very much the same..Iam just sayingVersion: 1.4

✓ Shoddy effortThis app is poor. You can't choose to learn numbers or colours etc instead the app cycles through all the categories like a demented nursery teacher. It also makes basic mistakes such as the using two different forms for the number 4 on the same screen. This is unnecessarily confusing for children. ✓ A nice appThis is a nice app that gives sticker awards after so many correct answers. However, there are two problems with this app. Problem #1 is, there needs to be a practice mode where children can just learn each section individually. In practice mode, parents should be able to touch the letters, numbers, shapes or colors they want the child to start off with rather than the labor intensive developers way of doing things. Touch screen was designed to be quick and accessible, not labor intensive. Problem #2 is, when children touch and drag their stickers all over the screen, there are some places on the screen where once the stickers are dragged to the location, they are hidden and stuck behind a useless icon and can not be moved. Taking advantage of the accelerometer when developing this app could fix this problem. 4 star app 2.5 star developer initiative. An upgrade is due..Cat5comedyVersion: 2.0.1

✓ Why did you hide the fact you were tracking kids' pictures??This app was recommended to us by a friend and initially, we thought it was a good choice. However, looking into this more, we found out that 24x7 Digital was SELLING THE PICTURES OF OUR KIDS to third-parties! I know many apps use analytics and I know several sell data to marketing firms. But to sell the pictures of kids is unconscionable. Just Google the name of this app and you'll see that there's a federal lawsuit being filed against the publisher. Shame..BadmojomanVersion: 2.1

✓ Zero stars! Waste of moneyThe graphics are awful. You can't even turn the tablet to change the orientation; it's stuck in portrait mode. Does not reinforce learning or teach in an engaging way. It is basically an outdated way of checking what your child already knows or trying to teach with "drill and kill" by telling them they're getting it wrong. ✓ Add the aquariumMy husband found teach my Kindergarten, and was the rock star for the house. My 3 year old was in love with the aquarium and played that game so much just to buy fish food and finally a fish. And she can barely identify her letters. She is very good at learning the math parts. I was so excited to find the toddler version. I set her up right away and this morning I got to be the rock star. But she can't spend the coins she is earning. Please add the aquarium. Lots of programs offer stickers. She loves buying the fish!.Goddess_rlVersion: 0
