✓ Brill DictionaryThis is a great dictionary. I am just starting to learn Polish so a dictionary has become my new best friend, however the one I bought from the book store isn't half as good as this one. It gives the gender of each noun and also the different endings depending on the case you are using. I haven't fully tested the fuzzy and wild card functions yet though!!.Version: 8.2.2

If you are trying to decide between this dictionary and the one provided by SlovoEd (I have both), then look no further. I've found SlovoEd entries to be inaccurate or confusing, whereas the accuracy in Collins is quite good. To enter Polish characters, you'll need to install a Polish language keyboard, and then hold down the key you want until a menu of additional characters appears..Version: 3.01

✓ Regular long time userI've been using this app for years as I'm learning Polish and it's very useful. A few more links to other words would be welcome and I agree on the rate me 5 stars alerts. Get them removed and just ask a polite question without presumption. Only gets 4 from me with these flaws, slipped from 5 owing to the very annoying repeated word of the day bug whereby the same word is repeated every day on the alert until you go and look at it in the app. If I’m not interested in today’s word I shouldn’t be forced to go and look at its definition in order to clear it. Also then means you miss all the other words as it incorrectly shows the same word every day instead. Very poor design..Version: 10.0.3

For Polish verbs, this dictionary lists perfective and imperfective forms, gives the 1SG and 2SG conjugations, and gives usage examples, including colloquial. Other parts of speech have similarly complete entries like a printed dictionary. ✓ Fully functioning dictionaryI emailed customer support after the iOS4 update caused this to crash. They said an update was imminent and it arrived today (30/6). When you click on "more" tab in main screen, all icons there need upgrading to hi def pictures!!! What I would also like to see is ability to add a chosen word do a favourite folder of your choice.
