✓ Great alternative for data-useWithout data on my iPhone 4 I found this to be a pretty sweet navigation tool. You can't get 'directions' but you can pin favourites that are in their database; usually, but not exclusively the main sites. The GPS is a bit slow to track you on the map but locating you in a static positions works fine. It incorporates the compass too so you know where you're facing. Much better than dealing with a physical map and only marginally less helpful than live maps. Do it!.Version: 3.0.2

✓ Incredibly Useful!I would 100% recommend this app to anyone who is planning on visiting Amsterdam! This wonderful city is sometimes too much to take in and you often find yourself lost, this is where this app comes in; you can boot up the app and use it to track where you are and use it to guide you to a destination, all without wifi or mobile data needed! There are lots of places on the app you can search for and it will display where they are. Only addition I would want to see is possibly a earth view and the ability to layout directions/quickest route type effect you would see on a sat as. (Maybe it was tried or it just isn't possible offline) Either way this app is very useful, download it!.Version: 6.4
✓ AmazingI am so impressed with this app. I couldn't get service when I landed in Amsterdam and we were worried about how we were going to get around. Luckily I looked up where our hotel is on the map and 'starred' it so I could find it and even better that it shows you where you are and you can track yourself and follow the roads easier! ✓ RofawiPlanning our fourth trip to Amsterdam and really enjoying plotting destinations and venues to visit. Didn't download this until after our first trip and don't know how we got around without it. While Amsterdam is quite compact we found the street names/canals to be difficult and confusing at first but this app is helped us plan our day out at out leisure. Adding the different coloured stars as we went along. us plan out in different coloured stars the places we want to see. ✓ What's not to like!On a recent trip to Amsterdam I was becoming increasingly frustrated by the iPhone's mapping feature and opted for this little freebie instead. It's delightfully simple and saved a lot of foot slogging around the spiders web of roads and canals of the city. One very minor niggle would be that it only has a 'North Up' display and I would have preferred it to show direction up, but that's just being picky! Great app..Version: 6.1.1

✓ Map!I downloaded the Ulmon guide for four cities in preparation for a recent trip to Europe: Munich Prague Vienna and Amsterdam. You can drop pins, actually stars on places that you're interested in visiting including sites restaurants hotels etc. The off-line maps are fantastic and the articles helpful. I tend to keep my phone on airplane mode when I am out of the United States this app was fantastic because I was able to use the map even when I wasn't in Wi-Fi. Download the guides before you go on your trip if possible this way you can read and save articles but if you don't download it until you're there that's fine too..Version: 8.1.1

✓ A life saverUsually don't rate apps but after a trip to Europe using this offline maps, I can asure you, this app will make your trip easier and you won't miss any important spot in the city. I used London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Venice, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon! In Budapest I felt lost because they don't have a map for this city but Google also doesn't have a map for Budapest offline. I'll put 6 stars but I can't so 5 it's the closest. One more thing, all this is for FREE! And this is not all, also you can download the information about the historic places in the city and then you can get the info offline. There is construction that causes some trams to go on routes that are not published. When we got off a tram in an odd place, I whipped out this map and did not need wireless to find out where we were and how to get to a landmark I had previously pinned on this map. Make sure you have enough room to download the articles as well, you can always delete after you're done with your trip if you need the memory on your phone. This app helped me navigate in Amsterdam, and gave me information about anything I wanted or needed. Since it was downloaded on my phone, it didn't matter that I wasn't connected to wifi and I didn't have to use pricey data. I definitely felt safer knowing I had this app on my phone.
