✓ AwesomeLike most people, we have travelled a fair bit. Like most people we have always relied upon the paper maps from the back of travel guides to avoid roaming charges abroad. No longer....... The offline map of Berlin was fab. The little cursor showed up on the map at all times and made life so easy. The list option is truly excellent - we are not great "list" people, but it allowed us to easily retain / remember sites to visit in the days before travelling - dramatically helpful when the search for a site / restaurant / location is thrown to the map in milliseconds. It took little thought to update from the basic. Travel will never be the same but will definitely be easier! 😎.Version: 8.3.1

I've used the maps from this company for several cities so far and it's like discovering the convenience of smart phones all over. Enter and mark all the places you want to go in the city, and plan much easier and faster knowing where it all is in relation. ✓ A must-have. SERIOUSLY!!!This app, simply put, is your most important luggage or guide for the city of Berlin. It's all about the offline map, which GPS tracks you, allows you to place markers and comment on them, gives an easy search function, and even shows you which direction you're facing (!!!). It was the unquestioned hero of my week in Berlin. My only wish is that they did more cities. I had to get an inferior app for Copenhagen. Heck, I wish they had one for my home city of Toronto, too! Has U and S bahn, all streets, museums, galleries, parks etc. You can save all the places you want to visit on the map via the downloadable database, which is pretty up to date and has wiki info, site addresses and contact details. Used it all the time on 10 day trip, highly recommend. Used with the Mdata metro map - easypeasy!!.Version: 6.5

✓ Very Hrlpful AppUsed it for planning trips in Tokyo and Berlin Didn’t want to use data while exploring so downloaded maps on iPod and paired with little GPS unit (Bad Elf) so I always knew where I was. A little expensive at first but then unlimited maps and still beats buying guide for both cities. Now I can have maps and guides for wherever I want to go, in my pocket. ✓ A life saverUsually don't rate apps but after a trip to Europe using this offline maps, I can asure you, this app will make your trip easier and you won't miss any important spot in the city. I used London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Venice, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon! In Budapest I felt lost because they don't have a map for this city but Google also doesn't have a map for Budapest offline. I'll put 6 stars but I can't so 5 it's the closest. One more thing, all this is for FREE! And this is not all, also you can download the information about the historic places in the city and then you can get the info offline. Does everything you want it to do and should you load all the places you want to visit in the "list" the app will help you navigate yourself to your destinations. The app also seemed to track my location even when my internet was switched off on my phone which was really helpful. ✓ Very helpful app!I love this offline app that allows you to pick spots you want to go to, drop pins on them on a very useful map, calculate distance between places, and create notes. Some sights (Reichstag for instance) even have detailed background info you can read offline. Listings vary though; some have just urls, some list hours and addresses. Also, if the place you're looking for isn't already in this system, I couldn't see how to drop a pin on it. We used the map all the time though - the GPS on it was excellent, and having different coloured pins available was great..Version: 6.4

✓ Excellent appI bought this app on my brother's recommendation. And it's excellent - but for a particular market. The app contains detailed Berlin mapping that allows you to navigate through Berlin (and find cafes, restaurants etc and often their telephone numbers) without ever turning on Data Roaming (at vast cost). And people's comments about 'just from Wikipedia' etc are somewhat justified, as indeed the Wikipedia articles on Berlin landmarks are included in the package - but again you can consult than without data roaming. So if you are in Berlin for a few days an don't want to pay a fortune for data, this app will give you GPS, restaurants etc and Wikipedia for the cost of the app, next to nothing. My only complaint it that it would be even better with public transport routes more clearly identified..Version: 5.1.1
