✓ Clean and simple with a few flawsI really like how nicely designed this app is. It is clean and simple, however, I would like to see the home page button moved to one side or the other. My son often accidentally touches it when writing a letter. More annoying than that is you can't choose a letter to start with so when he is on 'R' and touches the home page button he has to start over from the beginning. It also crashes a lot right before you can blow-up your letters. Frustrating since that's his favorite part..Wren WrenVersion: 2.0.3

✓ HollyrrAs a teacher, I would agree with the concerns of having this program match those that are learned in school. I like the idea of changing the app so people can chose which letter to work on. As an interventionist, this would make a great app to use with students working on particular letter needs. The biggest concern is both the letters b and d start with a line down. The d should start with the circle first, the same way the letter a is started. The direction of the circle is commonly confused and teaching the discrepancy between the start of each letter helps this confusion. This app does not make this discrepancy..HollyrrVersion: 2.0.41

✓ Great app but needs a few improvements...First of all the content and objectives are great. I wish though that the home button(red house) be moved from the bottom left because it often gets tapped accidentally by my left handed son. This would REALLY HELP. FIX THIS SOON!!! Also the ability to select which letters you want in the matching game and flash cards would be better, as learning children are more successful in small chunk environments. ✓ Merely okayThe star feature of this app is the handwriting practice, and that part is perfectly fine. However, the flashcards section is very frustrating for my two year old daughter. Often when she taps the flashcard to flip it over, it reads the input like she's sliding her finger to a different screen, so it changes all the flashcards rather than flipping it over. ✓ Good app!Bought this for my 3 yr old daughter who doesn't pay attention when it comes to any paper and pen directions. She loves it, and is starting to get to know her letters way better now! Only 2 downfalls, the kid in picture needs to be smiling, not frowning! And, why does the tracing part only go to "H"?? It should do all the letters, not just a fraction of them. ✓ Frustrating for toddler!Good app, but could definitely use many improvements! When tracing letters, toddler gets frustrated because if he accidentally touches the screen in 2 places, a long long appears across the screen ruining the appearance of the letter. Another problem is that he frequently presses the "home" button by accident which exists the letter tracing screen and forces him to start again from the beginning. There should be a slider or something of the sort to remedy this. It would also be great if there was an option to take a picture at the end of the letter tracing game so that parents could keep track and point out improvements to toddler..Shade-0Version: 2.1.2

✓ O is for Owl???I bought the full version of this app because I was so impressed with the preview, especially for tracing and matching letters. Then we got to the letter flash cards and the words for each of them. For letter o, instead of choosing octopus or octagon, o is for owl. Apparently an educator was not the designer of this game because when teaching a young child letter recognition, the letter should be associated with its common sound. Then we have x is for xylophone. Everyone does it, but it's such a mistake. X should be for box or fox. ✓ M is not for ApeThis app is great on letter formation and tracing, however there is an oversight in the flash cards and any M references in letter identification. The letter M is for monkey but it clearly depicts a picture of a female gorilla, not a monkey. I would appreciate a change so that the correct animal is shown. There are many monkeys to choose from, take your pick, colubus, capuchin, spider, proboscis, the list goes on but please don't use an ape because they are not the same thing, not at all, and I feel a learning app should be correct..GumbyDamnit1Version: 2.1.3

✓ Could be betterWhen tracing the letters the letter I disappears from your results. When we got to z it crashed. Crashes frequently. Pressing the home (menu) button in the game takes you to the game menu but you instantly lose your progress and have to start again (tracing from a). There is no list of achievements. No record of tracing progress (login name and photo with date perhaps?). Tracing letters our little girls hand touched the bottom right of the screen, resulting in massive lines going off the screen.
