✓ Works well!File Browser for Business is very useful and provides functionality that is missing on my iPhone. The interface is good but the icons could be revamped to provide a flatter, cleaner, more modern look and feel. Overall though, what matters is that File Browser for Business is stable and works smoothly with all my data files. I share files across different operating systems without any hiccups, you can actually copy and move between any kind of storage. If you are looking for an app that allows you to securely browse all of the files on your network, this is definitely a great choice. ✓ Version 2.0 fixed my windows 7 shares1 bug I found in old version was that shares weren't enumerated With Win7. I had to manually specify them. ✓ Initial confusion, but a solid AppAt first try there were annoying pop ups whenever you click on anything, but these disappeared once I trail subscribed at the monthly fee. Before my trail ended, I tried to choose the subscription I wanted, to no avail. But, after my trail was over i was free to choose whether to continue or abandon the app. Very confusing. To access my d-link router i just had to click on the toshiba-toshiba link and i could see my connected USB port with thumbnails and was away. Previously I had used the d-link Shareport app, and the difference is similar to getting off a 1950 Massy Ferguson tractor and into a 2019 Toyota Corolla hybrid. ✓ Finally, a great file managerI have tried many file manager apps and this is the best. it is very easy to use, very fast, works seamlessly on my PC based network (works so well with my NAS), strong media player and seems pretty glitch free. I have only had this a short time - I will return to comment if I run into any shortcomings. ✓ Fantastic productChallenge: my old WD iCloud storage device became obsolete due to being discontinued.. Did not want to spend the $$ to upgrade to the latest device.. Instead decided to use an old USB storage device I had and connected it to the router to store files that we could all share (photos, docs, videos etc) from our Apple devices. Router supported SMB but challenge was getting the iPad to recognise USB storage via SMB.. “big fail” .. I’m sure it was user error…🤪 Success: After trawling App Store for hours stumbled across FileBrowserGo, amazingly simple to configure, in less than a couple of minutes had it accessing my USB storage and we were viewing/uploading all our photos etc in a single location via our individual Apple devices.. I fumbled at first with the initial setup/connection, but once i passed that hurdle I liked responsiveness and intuitive form. The scan function works seamlessly with a vpn connection, even porting through an iPhone hotspot. I very much liked the fact that in the scan it showed the ip address. ✓ File browsing network drive on iPhoneWorks as advertised on my 4s. It's as easy to use as I figured it would be, since I actually READ your app description. The free version does what I needed. I tried ITOD app, but it did not have as friendly of an interface. One thing I've noticed. When viewing a .JPG file with my iPhone held horizontally, the 2-finger zoom in/out feature seems to be disabled. What ever level of zoom you had in portrait, stays when turned to landscape. ✓ Some shortcomingsOverall this app does what I expected, I am able to access SMB file shares, view the file types etc. However, when I downloaded a 12 megapixel jpg, the image does not "fit to screen", so I have to swipe it around the screen to see sections of the image on my iPhone 4. Another shortcoming, at least as far as I can see from within the app, is I don't have the ability to transfer images downloaded locally within this app, to the iOS photo app. I imagine this will be the same for other file types such as mp3's --> iOS music app but I've not looked. This app does not allow you to include the user’s full UNC path in the Name/IP settings. You can do a book mark that takes you right to your My Docs home folder but everyone can still see everyone else’s docs folder which freaks them out. If you allow the full UNC path in the settings, 5+stars and I would buy 50 right off the bat. Keep up the great work your doing on this. ✓ The perfect wifi file access app - almostIt is easy to use and configure. In a few minutes I was able to access ALL my files and folders on WinXP and Linux using existing ID and Passwords. Can view all directories, folder and files as needed. It was intuitive for me as a network technician. I would have given it 5 stars if it provided multiple file xfers and not one file at a time, so it only gets 4. CONS: Currently there is not a way to move multiple files at once, each file has to be moved one-by-one. That get tedious when moving 100's of files To and From the iPhone. Also after moving a file from a PC to the iPhone it leaves the users having to re-navigate back to the directory to get the next file, once again a tedious process. PROS: User friently interface and easy to understand. Allows access to Windows admin shares that use C$. Can show or hide system files. Supports VPN access to a office or home network. Lets you go back & forth between multiple locations easily. Move feature is extremely helpful to limit duplicate files everywhere! ✓ Fast jpg browser for scanned docsUpgraded to sub to get .mp4 viewer etc too. I normally hate subscriptions but this "Go" version of their file browser lets me see how videos work (I'll buy the full one soon so I don't have a sub). Testing from Windows shares, it needs SMB2 (or SMB3) like this app has. Some apps that claim SMB might only do SMB1 and modern Windows hates that and will just sit and spin on connection. This program is great and fast, I can select files in the viewer with a checkbox on the picture screen, rename files, move them. Haven't tested copying from PC to cloud but I'm sure it'll be a nice tool to sort/clear out my Dropbox folders while sitting on the throne for downtime. Only thing I might improve is a lossless jpeg rotate and crop (I scan all my mail, papers, receipts into a network PC) so cleaning, rotating and sorting is the thing I haven't automated so it falls behind and I need a handy fast tool like this to sort it all in those quick 5 min pauses in the day. Second thing, video viewer is nice, dials down to 0.1x speed for near frame by frame. The 1s fwd/row works only once, the 15s is handy for TV commercials (also use PlayOn recorder) and works all the time. It has certainly made my data management tasks much easier and faster. It also has a music player that works well with my FLAC music library stored on pCloud. ✓ Extraordinary.I would just like to say that I do not normally write reviews, but in this case I was morally bound. I had an issue with this app opening files on my windows 2012 R2 server with deduping activated. Stratospherics went yo extraordinary lengths to resolve the issue along with very rapid response rates. They even issued a revised app just to see if it would solve the problem. Eventually the issue was identified as a server bug encountered when a number of different instances occurred at once. Stratopherics identified this bug and directed me to a Microsoft fix. ✓ Pretty GoodI've been looking for a functional app that would let me connect from the iPhone to the Mac, via file sharing. I've tried ezShare and FarFinder before this app, and was dissatisfied with both. This app seems to get the job done: Turn on file sharing on Mac, connect to Mac via iPhone, browse/view contents. Done. Some comments: The picture needs some work; It would be nice to have Previous and Next button functionality when viewing a folder of pictures, as well as have the ability to double tap to zoom in 1:1, and double tap to fit-to-screen. The PDF browser should also have double-tap functionality (zoom in/out), but it's nice that it has start and end of document buttons, in addition to the usual next/previous page buttons. On the Mac, AFP support would be nice, rather than having to turn on SMB. Color scheme/icon design. Not too crazy about this, the icons don't feel very professional, and the user interface colors deviate from the expected iPhone color scheme (example, the first screenshot above, which uses a gray gradient with dark blue headers -- "Bleh," the gray of the vertical index is hard to read against the dark background colors.) I'm not sure if these functions are in the full version? Either way, if the PDF and Picture viewer were improved, I'd be happy to purchase the full version. (And I hope this developer is working on an iPad version as well.).Version: 0
✓ Great ApplicationHad an issue initially, but the support was great, and helped numerous times to aid sorting the issue, myself not a Mac professional and my poor communication, they were still able to sort my issue.I have now setup on my wife's and parents iPads, and considering the supplier of our drive left us in the lurch, just got to say......THANKS 👍.Version: 20.41
✓ It does it all 👏 Whatever you ask, the answer is YES!It doesn’t get m̶u̶c̶h̶ *any* better than this! My simple review won’t do this app justice because it does so much! The UI is a bit kronky but then it packs in so much. Once you get used to it, you’re flying. I had to ask their support via email and sure enough when I asked them if it did what I needed, the answer was big fat yes. Even though I got my intial task completed within the first three free trial days and may not need to use it again for another year, I am going to pay for the subscription purely out of admiration. Quality like this needs supporting and encouraging. Bravo 👏 —one thing I am still not sure about is the difference between this Go app and the Doc Management and Pro versions. ✓ Great but slowLove the app! Tons of functionality, but I can’t believe how slow it is when it comes to moving or copying or even deleting files! I’ve never experienced this kind of slowness for these activities in any app. Like I said, other than that it’s great.Version: 14.4
✓ Great app and customer service!This app works really great, making browsing for files on an iOS just like that on a computer. I had a hiccup and their customer support got back to me right away! It’s also nice that unlike so many other trial subscription applications they don’t go into auto renew as soon as the trial ends, which shows that this company has integrity!.Version: 12.7
