✓ It's pretty much unusableI've had this app on my iPad pro (it's about a little over a year old) and I've never been able to upload a draft post or publish a post to any of my WordPress websites. I see stats, I see published posts, I see drafts I've saved from where I wrote them on a browser. But every time I try to publish a post or even save the draft it keeps giving me an error message. ✓ A must-have app for anyone with a siteI was sceptical about Wordpress on iOS at first but I shouldn’t have been. It has most - if not all - of the features that the desktop dashboard has, with the link to WP Admin directly on the app. This is great if you’re travelling light because all you really need is an iPad. Somethings are better kept to a laptop or desktop, but if you need to do some light publishing on-the-go then there’s nothing wrong with it. If you aren’t too confident at SEO then the WP Admin site or the desktop dashboard is better, as Yoast SEO doesn’t seem to work on the mobile version (at least for me). If you have a blog, or a site that you publish to regularly, you might even consider the switch for that added mobility....Version: 14.8.2

Although I have barely begun to use it, just browsing through the app I’m in awe. The old app was little more than an analytics tool and way to work with comments, which for me were few. I was literally about to jump ship to another builder with better mobile tools (ahem, Universe or Wix…) but I couldn’t justify the move when I already have so much content and widgets setup. ✓ Problems with iPads?I love Wordpress, that is I love Wordpress once I get going with it. Setting up using an iPad is the most frustrating, hair-pulling, scream making process. It crashes, it stalls, it loses stuff. But.......... once you’ve got it mastered (providing that you haven’t used your iPad as a frisbee in frustration) it’s great to r regularly blog on. ✓ Great quick tool to use (free)I chose to use WordPress for a school project, and I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s going great. I’m having close to no troubles adding photos and information, and switching from draft site pages to published and back again is really easy. ✓ Nice App, Missing Markdown Support, Custom Post Types + Custom BlocksI’ve been developing WP sites since 2005 and decided to try the app. The app makes it pretty easy to add new posts on the fly from anywhere + works well with iCloud Drive. One thing that is strangely missing is being able to write posts in Markdown. I’ve been writing on my phone long before this app, so I am used to writing in Markdown for things like headings, lists, separators, etc that I would later copy + paste into the WP editor when back at my computer. Even on my computer I use markdown while writing posts because it saves on time. Alas, typing ## and the return key does not turn my block into an H2. My custom post types also don’t show up in the app, nor do any post types or blocks created by plugins. I’m hoping support for these things come soon - this app would be perfect if it did!.Version: 19.1

The only issue I have run into is that some of the features such as add a Portfoilo post don’t show up on my phone. Likewise, a friend I referred to Wordpress has similar issues. Then opened Wordpress blog via safari on iPhone and now keep getting fleeting error message and I stand shutdown of app. Now have no access to private diary on iPhone. Any help please? Review update. Having checked all data was safe, I reinstalled the app and everything working fine. It must have been just one of those gremlins in the system between two different blog setting. ✓ Great App!This app is extremely useful! I hadn’t thought about how easy it would be to use an app to blog. I had always thought I needed to type on the computer, thus never writing on my blog! Ha! With the app, I have written two posts. I love that I don’t have to keep sending myself pictures to add to my posts, I can just do that through the app! The only thing that is frustrating, is how many times it freezes. The good news is, it saves my posts without having to save it prior. It’s happened to me during both posts, just thankful it saved! ✓ Awesome!After the last update it rarely crashes on my phone with using it on Apple. I first used the wordpress free blogging option and then switched to my own website through wordpress. I just love it how easy and simple it is and how not expensive it is either. It’s affordable for me at the moment with a plan and my website host name that I bought. I absolutely love blogging! ✓ Four-and-a-half stars, reallyNot sure if I'm reviewing the website or the app, but either way, both are a great website developer too for an amateur. It does pay to view other WordPress sites before committing to going public, as different themes offer different layouts and possibilities. Most site owners leave the theme name in the footer, which helps you decide what functionality you wan pt from a theme. The app allows you straight in once first signed up, whereas using the Internet may require you to log in again sometimes. Another half-star when I can switch sites easily..Version: 6.6
✓ Room to improveI like the app a lot - and use it all the time. The vast majority of my posts have either been started, edited or written entirely in iOS - however I’m baffled by why certain editing functions are missing such as coloured text and photo galleries. The app (on iPhone 8 Plus under iOS 12) seems to be gobbling up battery too now and making my phone hot to the touch. 30 minutes editing has dropped the battery by 1/5th!!!! Please can you sort out whatever is causing the high cpu utilisation... Thanks to a questionable choice on your website every time I head there to edit a post it takes me right back to the app 😡.Version: 10.9

✓ Love it*update* Recently I’ve had issues in the phone app. When I go to update a blog with tags, the app continuously shuts down. I’m then having to log into a pc to complete that section of the blogging process. Is there any issue that’s causing this as until around two weeks ago, it ran perfectly. I run a virtual/reality blog and need to update pretty much on the go at times. The app has been perfect for me and I can't say I have had any issues. ✓ Great site to make your website but..I previously used this app before and it was a great app was easy to use with plenty of ways to customize your website to your liking. Especially with the plethora of plugins to further customize it!! Now I would give this a 5 star if they added the monthly subscription again. Yes there was a monthly subscription for the plans instead of yearly. For the business plan was around $33 which I think it’s $15 now but it doesn’t show the option to opt for monthly anymore. Now I had to stop my subscription before due to life n stuff. Was trying to get back at it again especially saw that the stuff I had made before with the business plan can still be used if I continue the subscription!! Well anyway hopefully the monthly option gets added again. And yes I checked my billing history and clearly shows I was billed for $33 monthly..Version: 19.9.1

✓ Perfect but!App is perfect to manage your WP website, just couple of issues which I am sure Devs can fix easily. 1- When a contributor log in to app the app show Publish button as well which is not possible for a contributor to publish, they can only save as a draft, so now I have to tell each of my contributors to not press publish (because when they do app show an error failed to publish, and no reason) and I have to guild them through how to Save. 2- Same when a contributor logs in and goes to pages the app keep on saying fetching pages. Please fix these issues and this app will be perfect 😊 thanks.Version: 14.5
✓ Useful and getting better with each updateProbably better to use on iPad that iPhone but useful in providing the ability to reschedule posts as needed and apart from seeing stats provides little else. I have attempted a single post on it but find it to restricting. It would be great if there was functionality around editing widgets and some of the more general settings.
