As a hobbyist, I probably use a small fraction of what an EE student would get of of this. The author continues to add to the application, each time a valuable tool or set of references. ✓ Extremely Comprehensive-Worth it!I've been trying to learn how to create circuits for the past year or so and this app is by far the greatest reference I've come across. In addition to the vast amount of data sheets and various formulas, there is a way to make a list of parts one may need to complete a project which is very useful. Finally, the developer is very active and always looking for ways to improve the app, if he/she keeps that mind set(without adding too much in one app), this may be the go to reference for electronics and components. What makes this app so valuable to me is that I need not remember which one of several apps holds the golden ticket for the task at hand. The cherry on top is that said convenience doesn’t require diluting expectations as to coverage or sophistication. The only advice is that time spent perusing the embarrassment of riches will be well rewarded, and there is always something else to be explored. The only drawback I faced is how to use the oscilloscope with my iPad (as I believe is embedded and there is not mic connector, it resembles me the one used in a well known toy used in schools to teach electronics to kids). ✓ Useful AppThere’s a lot here but it’s also missing important things such as information about light dependant resistors and other stuff. I really don’t want to slag this app off and I think the developer should be proud because there’s a lot of information in it that’s presented really quite well. Electronics is such a vast subject that it’s going to be a difficult job to get all that information in one place and I think anyone trying to do so deserves a medal. Drawing a schematic is such a ball ache with the app because the symbol database is sparse with about 80 symbols. You would think with around 80 symbols though it would be easy. Maybe with more practice on my part I’ll find my way around and update it to 5 stars. I find it easier to draw a circuit out on paper and take a photo of it and email it. Like I said; it’s a starting point and I’ve got to say that in time it could be an amazing app once I get used to it but I think that’s some time in the future because anything that gets added will need to blend in with what is already quite a high standard..Version: 14.0.4

Use the "Don't show again" button to dismiss this screen and it should not appear again. " Excellent app and fantastic feedback from developer. Earlier review below; App is good tool if you can get it to work. Since upgrading to version 9 the app has a bug and fails to run. What amazes me even more is how he has always honoured the products he sells. He has never gone to that ridiculous subscription nonsense like lots of sellers have. Has just about everything I would normally look up and open in 1000 tabs. I especially like the Arduino reference as that is what my electronics hobby centers around.
