Needs more beats!Great interface and very practical app. I can sit my iPhone on the floor Tom and play along. However I would love to see a tonne of new beats. At the moment there is not many at all besides the basic rudiments. The description says 'beats in a wide variety of styles' but there is only 1 funk beat and 1 r&b beat for example. There's a lot more rock beats, but most of them are as basic as they come! Needs to be some form of progression in difficulty espiecially for beginners, can't see this app being much help for experienced drummers. The ability to change the tempo would also be great but not necessary. Looking forward to some updates! Thanks for the app.Version: 0

Not worth the priceChanging tempo effects the sample audio quality a lot to the point that its better not to change tempo, not many beats available compare to the free version also you can't hear the metronome and the drums at the same time.Version: 3.2.2

New opinion...This is an okay app, as there aren't many rudiments or drum patterns. This is good for beginners, but more advanced drummers should check out Drum Library. It has more rudiments and drum patterns, and it's a dollar cheaper, too. Save your money!!!.Version: 0

App should stay openThis app would be wonderful if it didn't stop every time your phone goes to sleep; I need longer than a minute at a time to practice. Really simple to fix, guys. Also, a metronome that can accelerate and decelerate over a selection of durations is something I'd gladly pay an extra dollar for. But that's a want. I need the thing to stay on until I turn it off..Version: 3.0.2

Too basicThis is way to basic for any drummer that's played more then 3 months.Version: 2.0.1

Nearly perfectI am finding this app very helpful but wish you could see the highlighted notes as you pass through the bars and also tempo control would be nice... I have my iPad plugged into my Roland kit and play with the examples which works great as I can view the same pattern on my Roland screen and match the notes. But am very pleased. Anyone learning to play kit should have this app.Version: 2.3.1

BasicVery basic, though the potential is their! Rudaments and stick work are a must or anyone wanting to go beyond, but variations of a paradidle... Come on, there are stupid loads more!!! Get em on already!!.Version: 2.0.1

DrummingI purchased this for some help w/ percussion drumming. The beats are ridiculously too fast to be of any help to a beginner. Perhaps, it was made for the more advanced, but then I ask, do they really need paradiddle spelled out?.Version: 0

Only Just RockThe layout and feel of this app are excellent. The rock beats are lame.Version: 2.1

Was hoping for moreSome videos of grooves with technique examples would be useful. I was expecting a little bit more to this app. Hope it gets better over time..Version: 2.0.1

HmmmmNot a bad app by any stretch of the imagination. bought the full version with the promise of more beats added in updates. But months later still waiting for updates needs more variety.Version: 2.0.1

First impressionWell this is not exactly what I expected. The idea here is unique and could be good seller, but. There is no note chasing, no information about each beat or group of beats even. It is truely a dictionary and does not help you to learn the beat. There is no note adjustment just a simple sound and not even a drum sound. There is no speed adustment and no setting or help page. Sorry but at this stage I give it 1 and half stars. Thanks, but you owe me 3 bucks.Version: 0

Great idea, but needs some workI love the idea, however I noticed a couple problems: - Not all of the notation matches the beats that it provides. - You can't change the tempo, which is helpful for practice. - Being able to write And share beats would be useful. - There are a limited amount of variations to the genres of beats provided. Hopefully there will be updates. Thanks!.Version: 0

Pretty averageI'm 16 and I've been playing drums for 10 years, and I could play every beat on there first time, would be good for a beginner, but pretty average for experienced drummers who already know there stuff, although the rudiments allright.Version: 2.1

Myke8329Inability to control tempo is frustrating and renders this app useless for a beginner..Version: 2.1

DisappointingGood idea, but really only for fresh beginners. If you've been drumming for a while don't bother. If there could at least be some more advanced beats it might be useful. As well as more information on each beat. I was excited when I saw this but really let down when I opened it up. Put in some better beats in updates and I'll forgive.Version: 0

TDDictionaryHas potential but the only clear sounds are the snare, cowbell and ride cymbal. Bass drum needs to be more distinctive. Prefer "Drum School" app due to more clarity in sound and visual demo..Version: 3.2

Good app without soundI like the app the musical notes are correct. But many of the audio files play the music wrong. Get new audio set to a metronome.. Decent app..Version: 2.3.1

Same as free appI got this thinking I would get more on the paid version compared to the free app. No! I get no ads which were small anyway and a practice timer which I'll never use. All the rudiments etc are the same as the free one. Come on don't rip your paying customers off and make the paid version better..Version: 2.1

Bad uneven examplesThe single stroke roll reminded me of someone starting a car and not getting fuel, it is uneven with extra hit, sort of flam, accents. I didn't take enough time evaluating the free version..Version: 3.3

NiceA good little app, but could definitely use expanding on. Would be 5 stars if it had a bit more content..Version: 2.0.1

Need improvementsI play the drums for 5 years and advanced beats will be awesome... Change bpm's of demos.. Have beats in other t.s. Like 7/4 or 6/8 or 9/4. And the possibility to create beats would be great too... Costly for what the app gives. I would have pay it 0.99$.Version: 2.0.1

Nice app, but needs more complex stuffThis app is very useful for drummers of all abilities, and anyone who says it's too basic for anyone who has been playing for a while is simply wrong. You should always spend time on rudiments no matter what your ability. I have been drumming for almost 7 years now and still practice these rudiments regularly. However it wouldn't hurt to see some more complex material on here, particularly as far as the beats are concerned. Overall a good start to what could be an amazing app with a few updates. :-).Version: 2.0.1

Really?I can not believe I just paid for this! Where are the odd time signatures? How do you not have 5/8, 7/8, 11/4, 9/8???? I think this program is amazing but doesn't live up to the price tag..Version: 2.1
