✓ Good, but...I think its a great, well designed game, especially as i got it for free, but to me the controls seem kind of tricky, specifically tapping in the direction you want to jump. It gets kind of confusing and makes it unnecessarily hard to play. Id prefer tap anywhere to jump in the direction you were running, then you could change direction in mid air so you could still be a ninja :).Version: 0

I just started playing this game earlier today so theres not much I can say about overall gameplay, but so far its awsome. The chibi characters kinda remind me of that show that comes on on Jetix (forgot the name). I also like that the combo moves are continuous and vary in speed depending on how fast you tap. Also, the enemies in the game are not too easy, nor impossible to beat so thats a plus. Sound quality is okay, although it would have been better if the characters talked through the storyline. ✓ Magnificent game, even given strange controlsI love this game! The graphics and sound are great; the story ok on the level of Mario, like people have already said. Strange thing is the controls. You tap on the screen to go where you want and the game will interpret that to mean "run" or "jump" or "attack" and at times this means you can't control yourself precisely. Specifically, a jump will be turned into an attack if you are jumping in the direction of any "attackable" object, like a box - even if you are unaware of it and don't want to attack anything. This takes some getting used to, but I think it is wildly innovative and entirely appropriate for the platform - and works well enough when you a) get used to it and b) realise that you also use attack to get higher by "attacking" boxes up high and b) consider that (so far?) the bad guys don't require precision to beat them up. Also, it is astonishingly cute! Overall a brilliant game..Version: 0

Quite hard in places, but not impossible. A little slowdown on the fish level, needs tuning. A little rough edges when you die. Dual fatality, went back to the checkpoint and then did the level complete animation. Also when the last man dies, sometimes it just cuts to the game over screen. My main complaints are: no save state. I tended to bump the home button, this made me loose all progress on a particular level. This would be useful if life interupts your game. The pause feature is lousy. A button in the corner would be better. ****Spoiler Alert**** The cliffhanger ending IMHO was lame. I would like an more final ending. (Princesses tend to find touble...) ✓ GreatWhile i prefer playing games on the go on the DS and PSP over the Ipod, Chop Chop Ninja is one of the few Ipod games i do enjoy. Chop chop ninja is a great action platformer that is a bit like super mario meets ninja gaiden i got this when it was for free and im glad i got it because i got so hooked to it. Some problems i had with it were that there were some power ups like the double jump that you dont keep they are put in each level and you have to get them from there rather than permenantly keep them i can understand not keeping the jitsu power ups but why the double jump and sword? Another was that when you jump near a crate the ninja may end up hitting it since you have to tap up to jump or at least tap the top portion of the screen to jump which makes it a bit hard sometimes. All and all Chop Chop Ninja is a great game that i recommened to any die hard platformer fan it is challenging in a good way but not ghost and goblins difficult. I give it a 9 out of 10..Version: 1.6

✓ Ninja Chop-ChopChallenging game with good graphics and adversaries. So far it hasn't become so insanely difficult as to lose my interest. It has crashed a few times however causing me to replay almost an entire level over a few times. That really needs to get fixed. I just hope the developers are listening or at least read these posted reviews. I did get this game through FAAD (free app a day) for free and I'm still up in the air as to whether I would have been willing to pay a buck for it or not. I've noticed a lot of these games get to a level that are just so insanely difficult that I just give up and delete them entirely.
