Bridge to 10K for Positive User Reviews

TopsI've used run keeper for three years and Nike + for 2-this one has the best features of both, is reliable and has a half way prompt!.Version: 3.3.2

No 'k'sHappy with it as the next step from couch to 5k, but can't understand why (in an app that is called bridge to 10K) kilometres don't feature at all. My scales are in kg, my treadmill in kms and each time I run I have to google the conversions to complete my log. At least offer the option of metric or imperial..Version: 3.1.1

Great app -Highly RecommendStarted with the 5K. Could barely run 2 minutes without stopping. Today I ran nearly 5 miles and I'm only on the 2nd week of the 10k. I couldn't be more pleased with both the amount of information and the time and track accuracy..Version: 3.3.3

Great running app! This is easily one of the best running apps out there, very easy to use interface and love how I can listen to music from my playlist. The voice prompts to run/ walk could be a bit louder or maybe I just need to listen to my music on a lower level. Also great way to keep track of runs with the log and add comments for each run. Never had trouble sharing to Twitter (I don't use Facebook). A must buy if your looking to increase your run distance, ran my first Official 10k and completed it under an hour. Would love for the makers to add a half marathon app that keeps all the good things in this app..Version: 3.2.1

Bridge to 10kA tough task master! Easy to use and well stepped out to make the bridge that more claim able!!.Version: 3.2.5

Great app!The interface is easy to use, the help is actually helpful, and the program is great! Never thought I'd be running several miles a day - this app made all the difference!.Version: 3.2.5

Love this app!I've never been a runner, but after running my first 5k in many years, I decided I needed a challenge and started using this app for training for a 10k. I'm glad I purchased the GPS. I love not having to remember my run and map it later. I also love all the stats..Version: 3.2.5

Excellent!In-between this app and Ease into 5k, I'm on my way to becoming a runner. I high recommend both for anyone who wants to get into running. You run when it says run, walk when it says walk, doesn't get any easier than that. I would love to hug whomever came up with these apps, or is it whoever...anyway, love them both..Version: 3.3.3

Almost perfectI am a Couch 2 5K program finisher and loved the gradual progression of the program. It seemed only natural to move to the Bridge 2 10K. Overall I like the program as much as C25K. Like other posters I think the option track/train more for distance than time would be a great improvement option. I would have liked to see the GPS feature rolled into the price as well..Version: 3.2.5

Pretty darn good but not like the half programOnly adjustment I would add. Aside from the recent reviews others has given, is to set it up like the 1/2 marathon training program where it sets a race date (goal date) and guides your week.Version: 3.2.5

Love the App, but needs a fixI really enjoy this and the C25K app. The journal feature is great for looking back at my progress, and I love sharing a workout announcement on FB or Twitter. I've been having a HUGE problem with the phone crashing since I downloaded and used it, however. Experimenting with it leads me to believe that the GPS function - which I also love completely! - is what's causing the crashing. If you fix this problem, the app will be perfect! This glitch is the only reason B210K didn't get 5 stars from me..Version: 3.1.1

Great APPI started with Ease into 5 km and absolutely zero fitness, graduated to 5 km over 8-10 weeks and then took up the 10 km challenge and at 56 yrs old reached 10 km in just over an hour. The progressive training program in both APPS is perfect to increase fitness and stay injury free..Version: 3.3.2

Great! After completing 5km I really didn't know how to get to the next level, this is great I'm up to the 3rd week and going great. I don't know if I'll ever be able to run with out the little voice in my ear!!!.Version: 3.3.3

I love this appI love this app. I started with the C25k and thought I was going to have a stroke when it moved up to 90 second runs, but I lived. I just loved it so much I moved up to the bridge to 10k. I can run over an hour without stopping!!! I am so happy. The last time I could do that I was in high school over 22 years ago. I really hope they make another level for those of us who are addicted. Oh yeah, the only reason I didn't give this app 5 stars is because of the bug that keeps the prompts from playing with the page closed. Really only a minor nuisance compared to how much I love the app. Anyone who longs to run, but can't absolutely needs this app.Version: 0

Great program!Even now I've finished the program I'm still using the ap!.Version: 3.3.6

Great appI am almost through the training in this app an it's almost perfect. Sometimes it doesn't play well with Pandora, but other than that (and the crummy GPS in my gym) I don't have any complaints. I especially love the journal feature. One suggestion is to allow the timer (or cool down?) to continue running rather than stopping the GPS at the end of the workout. I wanted to extend my workout a couple times and had to stop and use another app to track my progress/time/distance..Version: 3.2.5

Great AppGraduated from C25K. Now part way through this. Hoping this developer has a half or full marathon app soon. Quick email reply always received to any question I have had..Version: 0

Great continuation from "Ease Into 5K"After completing the awesome Ease Into 5K app, I decided to attempt the Bridge to 10K plan. It is similar in format to the 5K app with a 5 minute warm up/ cool down. It has much longer runs (50-70 minutes) and brief (1 minute) walk breaks. It provides all the coaching and goal setting so I can focus on the run. Watching mile miles add up is very encouraging. My only complaint: you cannot separate the 5 minute warm up walk and cool down walk time from your run time, so you never get a true mile-per-minute pace. Fix that issue and it would be a 5 star app..Version: 3.3.6

Helpful, although alerts should be louderI used the couch to 5k recently, but never made it through the entire programme. I bought this without really reading that it was a bridge to 10k, but have made it to week 3 run 3 already without too much struggle. I would like a fix to sort out the volume of the alerts though!.Version: 3.2.5

So far so goodJust started app, graduated from c25k a month or so ago & needed a stretch... Started @ week 2 as I had been running continuously for 35-40 mins. Was really happy w c25k, so hoping b210k will b just as good..Version: 0

Does what it's supposed toA couple of things I'd like to see changed. Perhaps having an option to change the orientation of the app to see it in landscape mode, good for running with an armband. Also, the colors could be changed when running in direct sunlight to make easier to read. Overall it's effective and not as "touchy feely" as c25k. I like it!.Version: 3.2.5

Fabulous!Great way to continue running after Ease Into 5K! I had my 4th baby 11 weeks ago and I am already running 40 minutes! I stopped running when I was 20 weeks pregnant so I was very out of conditioning after the baby was born. This has helped me lose weight and love running again. I wish the program would allow you to manipulate the length of the workout a bit...such as longer runs in the beginning and longer breaks, shorter warm up and cool down. Overall, though, it has been a great tool for me!.Version: 3.3.1

Simple and effectiveI'm a casual runner looking to increase my distance and I love this app! However, there are a few things that should be noted before purchase. First the gps function is an add on purchase. Second, as with many other apps with integrated music, this app can only play music in playlists (most of my music is not). That said, I'd still buy this app as the workouts progress at a nice pace AND includes the option to run a custom distance instead a regular workout..Version: 3.2.5

B210k app - best running appI love this app! I started with the c25k app and after graduation moved to b210k. These apps work wonderfully and have great setting options. The gps is absolutely worth the $0.99 :) I even got my 50 year old mon involved with running now!!!.Version: 3.2.5

Nouvelle versionÉcran plus facile à voir! Bravo!!! !.Version: 3.3.4

Love it!Gives me that extra push each time to push it just a lil more each time. I have no doubt that I'll be able to do a 10k or longer after completing this program..Version: 3.2.5

Awesome!I went from no running to 5k using the ease into 5k app then moved to Bridge to 10k and it's great!! 3 months ago 1 min was my limit, I'm now running c5.5 miles and I know I can do more!.Version: 3.2.5

Starts off harder than the othersI don't recommend taking an extended break from running before trying this app. It took me a but to get up to the first week. Still, a perfect app and with the gps buy-in it has everything I need for running. Except maybe an easy way to access podcasts from music screen..Version: 3.2.5

A few bugsI am also having trouble getting all the prompts since iOS4. Sometimes it's just the bell. Still, an awesome product. I used Couch to 5K then moved to Bridge to 10K. I'm hoping a 1/2 marathon training app in in the works. (a girl can dream) (Oh, and a friend mentioned that when she clicked on the icon in my facebook update it went to the app store page about Couch to 5K instead of here.).Version: 0

It does what I need it to doI like it! It integrates the music well. I like the map and the calorie/pace information..Version: 3.2.5

Straight forward app, does just what I need.Very easy to use. GPS purchase worthwhile..Version: 3.2.5

A good step up!I have to say I was a little dubious at first about this programme as you do start out at 4 x 10 min sessions and having worked so hard to get to 30 mins (5k) it did feel a bit of step back, HOWEVER....when i hit week 2 I really felt the difference and felt as if I were being pushed again, now well into week 3 I can see my mileage climbing which is really motivating and the 1 min walking sessions are barely noticable! I also went for the extra GPS add on but it is very unreliable, told me I had completed 9.25 miles when I'd actually completed approx 5 miles!!!! Having said that if it worked it would be brilliant! There is also a very small bug in the journal logs, it adds 2 entries for every run you do, one labelled week one and one labelled the day you are actually at but they are easy to delete so not really a problem. I would highly recommend this app even though there are a few little bugs but would not recommend spending extra for the GPS add on unless it is improved! Happy running!.Version: 3.1.1

Great for beginners!I already completed the 5K app, and am using this to build up to the 10K. I love the interface, easy to use, watch my pace, and listen to my music. I really like the journal and graphing aspects of these apps to visualize my progress. Great app, fair price..Version: 3.3.5

BrilliantI started with the couch to 5k app then needed something after this is great. There are some weeks I find difficult but I finish it and then sometimes repeat the week and then move on to the next week. I've learnt that I am my own worst critic at least this focuses me greatly with the voice overs and listening to my playlist - great!.Version: 3.3.2

Great appUsed this app to prepare for training for half marathon. It did an excellent job bridging from 5k to 10k running! I definitely feel ready to move on to the next training for the half! The prompts were great! Loved the encouraging quotes! Wish there was a Bridge to half!.Version: 3.2.5

App of choice for beginning 10kEasy to use and excellent graduation from c25k..Version: 3.4

Great motivator! This app has really helped motivate me push myself to get fitter. Being able o post my stats on Facebook has even helped motivate my friends to get more active too! :o).Version: 3.3.3

Love your AppsJust wanted to say thank you for your awesome apps. Completed my first ever 10K this morning....1:05:35. Your apps makes it so much easier and enjoyable to do the training required to run. I am a C25K and a B210K graduate. Thanks!! Again love the app...I have no complaints! Well except I now need a 1/2 marathon training app...get busy Alex!.Version: 0

Love it!This I perfect for anyone moving on from c25k or just wanting to advance their running skills. It breaks the runs down into manageable intervals. I am currently on day 1 of week 4 and I'm not giving up! I've ran 2 5ks and I'm moving onto to a 12k in march, so this is gearing me up. The interface is easy to use and I love that I can still play my music with it..Version: 3.2.5

Great way to trainI am just a year into my running life change and I have purchased two apps by this company and love both of them. Helps keep me on track and safely. Highly encouraged and recommend this to anyone new beginner..Version: 3.3.3

Great app but needs one improvement! This app is awesome but needs one improvement. Upon purchasing the GPS add-on, an option to run for distance rather than time would be great. This would benefit a slower runner and would ensure that upon completion, they are truly running a 10k. Great app!!!!.Version: 3.2.5

3.3.1 has fixed the problem"not working on my iphone 4 with ios 6 since last update" - UPDATE 3.3.1 has fixed the problem and the app and I are running again.Version: 3.3.1

Great app! This app is easy to use and it works. I'm on week 3 and doing great! It does use a lot of battery though, so be sure to close out of it when you're done..Version: 3.2.5

Great support for non-pro runnersX.Version: 3.2.5

It really worksI completed both the C25K and this app and really loved them both. The recent updates have fixed the majority of the bugs mentioned in other reviews and I've found that the app has really improved in terms of reliability. Plus you now have a metric option, which makes life much easier! The most important thing for me is that it has really worked in helping me to achieve running that distance. I started in March this year and struggled to run for 60 seconds. In September I completed my first 10K race and ran it all in just over an hour. I can see why the B210K app can feel like a bit of a step back from C25K because of the increased intervals, but I found it really helpful in building my stamina and endurance. I found the pace of working up to running for 60 mins to be just right and ultimately successful..Version: 3.2.2

Best there isJust what I needed. could run 5k but most apps for 10k stretched me too far too quickly. this is perfect..Version: 3.2.5

Great app! This app is laid out very well. I really like the custom run based on mileage feature. That with the half way notification is worth the price right there. It is nice not having to plan the run from start to finish. Now, I can just explore new areas - wait for that half way notification, turn around and come back a different way. Love it. Here are a few recommendations to make it even better: -Have the ability to hear average pace from run only portion not run & walk average -Show separate mileage of run and walk in summary.Version: 3.3.4

Great tool to reach new running goals!I used this app after training to run a 5k because I wanted to have a new goal and continue to challenge myself. This app was a great tool to help me achieve my goals. I love the prompts and mile splits and the distance run feature. The graphs are also a great way to stay motivated!.Version: 3.3.2

SuperdooperLuv this app. Really brilliant. Gps accurate. Tough but achieves result..Version: 3.2.5

Most polished of the 10K running appsI've recently been able to complete Alex's C25K app. I'm looking forward to being fit enough to run a 10k at will. I think the Bridge 210k app will work great to help me achieve that goal. The interface is very nice. Well thought out controls. It works nicely with my own music and playlists. I hope if IPhone os4 includes app multitasking that I will be able to run B210k in the background while streaming audio in ootunes or safari. Thanks for making a great product. I feel very rewarded by what I've been able to achieve with your help. I wish you the best continued success with your apps..Version: 0

Great appHas been great for me. I like the time count down (something the 5k app I used didn't have). Easy to use. Good journal features, great to get the GPS so you don't need more than one app running. Overall excellent!.Version: 3.2.5

If you already run & need a flexible app -THIS one is PERFECT!I never write reviews but I love this app so much i had to share! I'm a mom with a child that has special health concerns so my workouts times and days HAVE to be flexible ( even more so than the regular moms) since we may end up in the Hospital with him without notice most apps I've tried have a race goal and doesn't allow flexibility in changing day or missing a week. Plus this app is great for the current runner that is trying to improve on time. I have already completed a 10k but didn't train with any structure for those teo. All other programs seemed to be very inflexible ( you set race day and no way to change schedule for missed days or move to another days etc) or it was too basic for anyone already running. This bridge to 10k app has already helped me cut 3 minutes off my 5k time with hopes of doing even better for my 10k race coming up in 2 months. I didn't initially purchase the gps at first because I had a great running watch however after just one run i added it and loved it for the mapping and tracking it does so seamlessly with the app. It also works great with my iTunes playlist too! Now if only they had a bridge to half marathon app to help me improve on that race too!.Version: 3.2.5

Absolutely brilliantCan't speak highly enough of this app. Works perfectly and (like other reviewers) really has changed my life for the better. The app itself is exactly the same as Ease into 5k, which is equally awesome. If I had to, I'd buy this again in an instant. It's just amazing..Version: 3.2.5

Buy This App!!!!It really works if you take your time & stick with it!!! Today we ran 60 minutes straight for the first time! Never thought this could happen!.Version: 3.2.2

Great BuildYes you go back to 10 mins but x 4 so you're running for longer in total than the 30 mins you finish the 5k program on. It's keeping me going with the running and hopefully I'll make 10k soon :).Version: 0

Great but GPS feature inaccurateLove this app but GPS must have significant bug. Distances run are wildly inaccurate and the other day I was informed that I lost 30kg after just one run! Still use the app but have to ignore the stats recorded...an update fixing the bugs would be brilliant..Version: 3.2

Only one improvementLoved C25k and moved to this one. The recent improvements are great and I never have an issue with the app. I wish it gave mile splits on runs beyond 4 miles. I expected that when I moved to 10k..Version: 3.2.5

A great appI used c25k then this and they run together great, I can run further than I've ever been able to s d I'm only on week 2, and I'll be taking part in a 10k once I'm done with the app. great for folk who need that push to keep going.Version: 3.2.5

Love bridge to 10kLove this app. Does what it's supposed to do and is easy to use. Worth the $. Getting fit has become much easier then I expected!.Version: 3.2.5

Would love a timed run at the endReally useful app, however, having previously bought ease in2 5k, was disappointed that I had to buy the gps feature twice, sometimes the vocal prompts are erratic & I would love a timed run at the end as well as the distance. All being said, without it, I wouldn't be running nearly 7miles!.Version: 3.2.5

It's getting me there! The app is fine-it does reduce the volume on my music player when sits on top but I can live with that. But I am getting closer to my goal which is why I got it..Version: 3.2.5

Freakin' awesome!I started with ease into 5k which was so amazing that I bought this app. I never had the desire to run at all much less 10k. Both apps do a terrific job of taking reluctant and out of shape people and making them running enthusiasts. I not only look forward to my runs but enjoy challenging myself to get better and better..Version: 3.2.5

Update to km's not milesJust reiterating what many others are saying about these apps, PLEASE update to km's....otherwise...fantastic!.Version: 3.1.1

Works as promised. Not having regularly jogged since 1977, I found myself running 10k more than a few times, and that was in 2011. I'll continue using this app until I can't walk anymore..Version: 3.3.3

Really helpsA bit fussy - I love the lock function with C25k I kept knocking and fast forwarding things !! Only on week 3 but my dog n I LOVE IT.Version: 3.2.5

Love this app! After finishing the c25k program I moved onto b210k. I love it!! I started c25k earlier this year & didn't think I would survive running one minute. Now I can run for over an hour easily. I only wish there were apps for half-marathon & marathon training. I am addicted! Great app - please continue the program!.Version: 0

Complete appThis app is complete and works the way they say it works. I did not experience any bugs or annoyances. I am amazed at all this app offers and, yes, it took me from start to finish without injury or stress..Version: 3.3.3

GPS?I bought this because I've almost completed C25K. I bought the GPS in the first app and I'm just wondering if there's anyway to transfer it to this app, so I don't have to buy it twice..Version: 3.1.1

It's greatI love that it now keeps a running total (no pun intended) of the miles I've run. And even though I've graduated from 10k and I'm training for a half marathon, I can still use this app by using the "distance run." Oh, and the update now shows your fastest mile. I used to have to use the map for that, so I love that too!.Version: 3.2.4

So far so good!Today I'll run day two. It's a great app but I cannot hear the voice feedback about when it's time to walk or run. I can hear the bell but that it... The actual voice isn't loud enough! Fix that up for 5 stars!!.Version: 3.3.4

Great for C25k graduates!I think this program is a good transition for those of us who realized we had it in us to run a 5k - why not the 10k? If C25k changed your life, get this app!!! It looks sound and the intervals should complement the progress you've made, although I think that the first few weeks might be a little too easy for a seasoned 5ker. I look forward to starting it in 3 weeks..Version: 3.1.1

Best running app outJust like Ease into 5k, the app is great. The plan is spot on, logging is easy and music and prompts not overly hard or intrusive. My only tweak would be to let user build playlist in app rather than only bring able to pick from my existing iTunes playlists..Version: 3.2.5

ExcellentYou are now truly magnificent with your metric upgrade. highly recommended app. Best $4 (or so) ever spent. Has changed my life. Thank you xx.Version: 3.2

Love itI'm a runner now!!!.Version: 3.3.3

Sure and steadyAfter finishing the Ease into 5K I started immediately using this app. The format works for me. Never having been a runner, I feel like in really making progress. Love that it uses the GPS to map the run and gives run pace, walk pace, ave pace, etc..Version: 3.2.5
