✓ Doesn't workUsed to love this app and how the sky would move with my movement, identifying the planets, constellations,etc. now it is just static and doesn't move at all. Not very useful. I am appreciative that the developer responded to my review to tilt my device to activate the star spotter. I have tried tilting it every way possible but the screen & digital compass remains static..Version: 7.2.3

✓ Used to be great, app no longer calibrates directionThis app used to be so great, you could hold it to the sky and identify exactly what you were looking at. With some update along the way, when you hold the device up, it no longer moves to track where you are pointing (east, west, etc.). Big disappointment..Version: 7.2.5
✓ What nonsense.I bought this app after seeing a recommendation in a daily newspaper here in Australia The first thing I noticed in the calendar is that the Winter solstice is showing in December. When you market a product in the Southern Hemisphere the Winter solstice is in June, but I could see no option to change it. Then when I tried Help, the instructions did not match the screen I was seeing. Finally, the image of the sky from my back yard and what was in the sky were totally different. ✓ Playful star gazingAs a curious human wanting to know more about the stars in our sky in the north. I purchased this wonderfully put together app helping me understand the ski above me. ✓ Just bought then a new version comes out.I purchased this app. It’s ok, but doesn’t go further than the year 1600 which is useless for biblical applications. Not very user friendly either. ✓ Upgrade or take it off the App Store!This was last updated 4 years ago? Just recently upgraded constellations for 2019? Come on! I was trying to use this tonight. I had my iPad facing north and it kept telling me that it was facing west. I ended up downloading another app to find out what two objects were. ✓ Doesn't seem to work on my iPad 2I saw this app on a friends iPad 1 some time ago, and it was the first app I purchased after I collected my iPad 2. Sadly, Star Walk on my iPad refuses to track as I move around, so I am left with a static display. I have checked my digital compass (which is working fine) and e-mailed 'support' two weeks ago and have received no response yet. Since then there has been two updates which I have eagerly downloaded, but I still have the same problem. This still looks pretty, and is clearly a great app when it works ... but I am still waiting. ✓ DisapointedI really thought i could aim my ipad's camera to the sky... And the app would of recognize the constalations and everything in the sky... Sadly, i never use this app because its not interactive during night... If the next update could be a major one including interactivy... ✓ Dont update Star walkI have loved this app from the moment I downloaded it nearly two years ago,I have shown it to countless people and told many more. But this current update has ruined my love of this app ,I'm furious ,I expected perfection as promised ,the milky way is not as defined and all the fantastic clear definition photos of nebular, although bigger are blurred, fuzzy and extremely disappointing. How do I remove this update and get back my clearer ,although older version back,and No I don't want all those huge friggin share options There are some very good ideas here but you've stuffed this most beautiful app for me,I wish I'd never updated ,take away that big ugly share option and give me back the clear and defined glorious sky I love This is no magnum opus in its present form.Version: 6.1.1
✓ Why am I notified?I like the imagery and information provided by the app, but what really irritates me is that my icon shows as if I’ve received a message, or notification of some sort, and then i get into the app and there is nothing there! That is I just see the normal sky with no idea of what i was being notified about. It renders the app for me quite useless..Version: 7.2.4

✓ I think I remember when it worked...Would be nice if it was currently capable of identifying the moon when it was pointed at it. Possibly it just ignores timezones like mine as too difficult to handle. Maybe it doesn’t know the time, when it’s told what it is. Whatever. ✓ Good appThis app offers a truly unique and amazing experience, and I would give it five stars except for the fact that when you hold the iPad up to the sky, sometimes the view flips wildly around in the complete opposite direction. I'll be looking west (and I know it's west), and all of a sudden the app will do a 360 and I'll be looking east. This bug kind of ruins the experience for me, but it's still pretty cool..Version: 5.6.2
✓ Is good but some issuesThe app does show you where everything is and provides lots of information and has good control over time to see where certain stars/planets are. The only problem I have is that it takes a while to Calibrate the iPad to the sky and I sometimes get taken out of the app to be linked to Safire or the app store..Version: 7.2.3

✓ Would be nice...if it workedLikewise, worked for 2 days. First clear night, I took it out and aimed up and after startup, it quit in approx. 5 seconds and has done so since on each retry. According to the icon, there are 2 updates pending, but not according to the App Store and if there were, the App doesn't stay open to allow the update. Sent help request to the developer and aside from an autoresponse, no communication. Working with brand new iPad2 with lotsa memory remaining. Award winning App? How do I get a refund? Hmmm, I have to rate this App in order to submit these comments. How ironic that the rating system is stars... the one star will be the only one I'll see with this App.Version: 5.3
