✓ Simple and awesomeI’ve had this game on every single device I’ve owned since it came out. It doesn’t have a lot of the bloat that causes so many games to eat up a ridiculous amount of memory, but it has all the basic anagram-solving features that I love. I love that you can play without a timer (“Classic” mode), and the fact that you are asked to list ALL the words actually provides useful hints in discovering additional words. It’s not beautiful like my other favorite word game, Wordscapes, but it’s relaxing and not annoying in any way (which is actually more rare if you think about it). I even don’t mind the music! My four-year old son used to ask to play it with me to relax before bed many years ago on my first smartphone during snuggle time, and I can’t think of another game that I would say yes to like this one. ✓ Suggested wordsI have suggested numerous words (which are in the dictionary) but they are STILL not allowed. Perhaps no one ever looks at the suggestions. And what about abbreviations? "Ump"; "ref" and so on. Ordinary words "cruet", "ling", "col", for example are all in a normal dictionary. And how about allowing English as opposed to American spelling if this game is being put out in the UK? Does anyone read these reviews and pay attention to comments made? It doesn't look like it. This spoils what is otherwise a very good game. Don't be lazy, put it right! Just tried to put in "orgy", surely that is a perfectly acceptable word? I'd like to add another absurdity - "vig", dictionary definition "short for vigorish"; no definition of what vigorish means! Why do you use such nonsensical words and not perfectly reasonable ones. ✓ Good game until recently……😕Enjoyable game, got used to American spellings but there are British words it doesn't accept - eg. Dram. Sometimes, words previously ok are not accepted! A couple of months ago it started to crash unexpectedly - sometimes when I'd only just started playing. The crashes became more frequent and today it was happening every 30 seconds or so. ✓ Jumbline is a fun word game.I enjoy this. It does repeat, but that is okay. It does not recognize some very common words but recognizes some archaic and rare words. Go figure. Because each level is fairly quick, I can fit in a game in odd moments, or several levels when I want to relax at the end of the day. Playing with a time limit is a fun challenge, but I also love being able to play without a time limit to improve at words I often forget or words I just learnt. It's helpful being able to click on a word to learn the definition. It would be the perfect word game if it had a bit better dictionary, as there are some obsolete words and missing words. ✓ Keeps you coming backI played Tumbleline to death when I first got it - I've had it for years since it first came out. Then I gave my fingers a rest, but still love it every time I go back. My children love it too, even my 7 year old daughter. Great for extending vocabulary so not only is it fun, it's an educational challenge. When a game is over, why is one’s score not saved? It seems logical that one would want to improve one’s score when playing the next game but it’s nowhere to be seen. I find that odd. Maybe in the paid version? Also, what would prompt me to purchase the paid version? The ads don’t seem that annoying with this free version. I wish there was a way to find out! BTW, I also enjoy the Cloud Pop and Tower games. Score retention is an issue with those as well..Version: 2.1.3

✓ Love this game!Like most, I downloaded this game because I missed the old text twist game. I like this one much better. A couple of suggestions: Center the board and controls. I am playing with the apple pencil, but when I’m not, my shoulder takes strain from reaching across to the other side. I tried setting left-hand mode, but at least one of the controls is always on the wrong side. ✓ Love this gameI'm rewriting this review because accidentally the "expert" words button in the game was "on" and the game was crazy. It changed the game by adding words I’ve never heard of. So, if it happens to you, check that first. I saw the +11 languages on the app description, and thought they had changed the game! Brainium was terrific in helping me. The +11 languages in the app description is wrong, but Brainium can't get it taken off. I went looking to see why my game wasn't acting correctly and found that the words had gone to only 5 letters, and the expert words were on. My dog had walked over my ipad and, unknown to me, his paw changed it! He turns things on in my car, too. Clever dog! The game is terrific, again. Download it. You'll like it..Version: 2.2.11
