Muscle & Bone Anatomy 3D for Positive User Reviews

Great app for first year Physios studying MUSCULOSKELETAL ANATOMY! :)Great for learning names, positions, actions, attachments, movements, body planes and all basic kinesiological factors of learning musculoskeletal anatomy! In 3D also, so great for visual leathers!.Version: 4.0

Always there when I need itI've had this app for several years now and keep coming back to it to check on things as I learn how to use my body effectively and without stress..Version: 5.0

I teach yogaI use this app all the time for reference and with my students. It’s awesome!.Version: 5.0

A wonderful app for anyone who needs to understand the bodyI'm into fitness, especially resistance exercises. I need to understand the muscular system and how exercise affects the body. Moreover, I need to know what certain pains can mean when an injury hits unexpectedly. That way I know how to work with it and rid myself of the problem. That's where this app comes in. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to pay this much for an iPad app. But this is worthy of the price. Not only do you get a 3D view of the entire body, muscular and skeletal system, but you also get video that fully explains it all. Now, I'm not in medicine. But, for anyone who is, this is a must-have. I doubt you'll find a better program for your iPad. But I highly recommend it to anyone..Version: 3.0

BestBest anatomy app for the price by far.Version: 4.1

MrsHandy app. I like the way you can study the same anatomy in different ways..Version: 2.1

Distance Runners Love ThisAs long-time distance runners, we've had our share of major and minor injuries. We're very curious about the exact location of muscles and tendons and how and where they're connected. This app is so clear and graphic and really gives us the full picture of what could be going on. One feature we love is being able to see the joints in motion. What a revelation that was. It's such good information. Perhaps one could go online and find much of this at separate sites, but having it all together in one location is much more useful because it gives you better context. So far, I think this was worth every penny. We'd love to see this expanded so that everything that's labeled is a link with further explanation. I have seen a few misspellings, but I am a stickler for spelling, so I always notice. My guess is that this app will continue to improve even further over time. I'm willing to pay for good information like this. This was quite a find for us..Version: 4.1

Great visualsAs a visual learner I benefited from the pics, videos in this app to help me learn and identify muscles, origins, insertions +++.Version: 2.1

Great for any health care or medical studentAbsolutely fabulous app, full of detail and if you can't find what your looking for, it has a search box that will find it for you! Considering buying a book containing all this information in can cost £20 upwards the £4.99 is most definitely worth it. I am currently studying physiotherapy at university and it has been faultless so far..Version: 4.0

Fantastic!I don't mind paying for a good app. This was money well spent! The user interface is slick and the amount of anatomical data outstanding. I use the app for my own reference with respect to sports (i.e., learning more about body systems and how they interact during my favorites - running and cycling). This app has also been useful when working with my Physical Therapist as it has given me a better understanding of what we were working on and how my actions might help or hinder therapies..Version: 4.0

Very functionalGood ap. i was trying to remember the one my physio recommended and found this. I like the different angles. Took a couple of goes to work out the functions but it is my go to app for my teaching as a pilates instructor. Happy to recommend!.Version: 4.1

Great appI'm may only be 15, but the P.A. I work with, told me that a head start for "life as a doctor" would be to study the bone/muscle structures and functions. I aspire to become an orthopedic surgeon, but regardless of what type of doctor you dream to be, the one topic that everyone has to learn is this. This app makes learning the scientific terminology of bones and muscles a very simple task. Ive been using this app for under five minutes and I've memorized at least 15 terms..Version: 3.0

Fun and informativeI didn't expect much when I bought this, but after giving it a try it has entertained and impressed. It's fun and makes you smarter..Version: 4.0

AwesomeI started using this app to help me study for my fitness diploma and it is a great tool for learning. The pictures are very clear and the quizzes are good fun and help me to remember. It would be great to see more videos as they are very informative and not at all boring. Great work!!!!.Version: 2.1

Great app for clinicians and patientsExcellent app. Easy and fun tool for reviewing anatomy plus I use it to show patients areas of the body they have injured that I am rehabilitating during Physical Therapy. Suggestions for future update: I would like to see 3-D view that includes more superficial muscles and all of the bones of the ankle/foot similar to what has been done for the hip, more superficial muscles of the shoulder and anterior neck, face information boxes to the side of the neck vs. over the anatomy and a 3-D image peeled down to the skull bones plus an addition of the elbow and hand 3-D muscles and bones. I am looking forward to the evolution of this app. Keep it coming!.Version: 0

Great appGreat app so far! I've never done any anatomy and I managed to understand everything. I love how its not to expensive and it gives great views, media and movements. Only thing I would say to improve is that they should make a man and woman view cause there are differences between them and sometimes it freezes on my iPad mini. Otherwise has been amazing for me and has helped me to study for being a forensic anthropologist and other anatomy subjects!.Version: 4.1

Very informative fantastic! Invaluable appFantastic app! Using this for my personal training studies. I would be lost without it!.Version: 3.0

Fantastic appGreat lay out, easy to use with lots of interesting and understandable information. For those that are new to learning the body’s bones muscles and functions, it’s perfect. Thank you for making such a great app..Version: 5.0

Great app! What an amazing app! I wish I had this when I was in school for massage therapy. Absolutely great for client education. Thank you.Version: 4.0

Great app! This App is very helpful in showing clients the function of their muscle imbalances. It brings a clearer level of awareness which most people don't have unless you are a health practitioner. It is very well done, precise and love evert aspect of it!.Version: 4.1

Excellent! This is a very easy to use app for helping you to learn about the musculoskeletal system. Muscle name, origin, insertion and action are all covered. The 3D viewer and quiz sections are particularly useful. However, the multiple choice quiz can be too easy because often only one of the answers is about the relevant part of the body: e.g. In a question about a muscle in the lower leg you might get offered only one answer about the leg and three about the arm, back and face. Please make it less random in the next version!.Version: 0

Fantastic educational toolI am a massage student and this app was recommended to me by a classmate. It was definitely paid for itself over the course of the next few months. I have difficulty studying via the traditional book method and this app's quizzes on the muscles and bones has been invaluable. I actually enjoy completing them and it even has a handy option to mark the ones that you get wrong so that you can go back and review them later. Another feature I like is that you can see muscles in motion, and this is something most apps do not offer. I highly recommend this app for healthcare professionals and those in training..Version: 4.1

Great application. A+I love this application. It's a must!.Version: 4.1

AmazingI am a PE teacher and also teach a bit of science. This app is a fantastic teaching aid. I can use it in the sports hall or gym and the quizzes are brilliant in the classroom when connected to my whiteboard. Highly recommended to PTs, gym instructors, teachers or anybody wanting to learn more about the muscles/skeleton.Version: 3.0

Fantastic App!This is a fabulous reference for anyone wanting to either brush up on current knowledge or further their understanding on the musculoskeletal system generally. It is extremely user friendly & You really get a feel for how the muscles & bones work to provide specific movements. I also like the selection of quizzes too, so you can gauge understanding. Brilliant!!. Marti.Version: 0

WowNothing short of amazing. Thank you!.Version: 3.0

Wow ! Thanks a lot !Very useful for osteopathic studies..Version: 0

This is a great applicationI am a pilates teacher and I use this app every week to check information. It's also really clear and concise and perfect for showing clients how different elements of the body work in concert to achieve movement..Version: 5.0

Best Anatomy App for testingThis really helps with my studies..Version: 5.0

Brilliant AppThis is an excellent app for anyone who's interested in how our amazing body's work. Very informative, easy to understand and simple to use and the 3D images are just fantastic! ;0).Version: 4.1

Great appUse it all the time, when I was studying and regularly go back and refer to it. Love it..Version: 5.0

Fantastic AppI downloaded this app to use for my ITEC A&P course. It's really useful and helps in understanding the location and names of bones and muscles as well as their movement and pathologies. Highly recommend for anyone undertaking a Anatomy and Physiology course..Version: 4.1

InformativeAs a swim coach I use this app to identify muscles, how they work and body movement..Version: 4.1

Great study toolI am using this app a great deal for my anatomy studies at university. I really like the videos. The quizzes are handy to get familiar with the names and general place of an anatomical structure. Love the origin, insertion, function info too..Version: 3.0

Perfect study companion & visual tool for treatmentsThis is not only a awesome study companion, clients love to be shown what was worked on and how the results are obtained. I find if a client can visualise and mentally understand what and why, the positive results of the treatment are achieved quicker..Version: 5.0

Brilliant for reference and so clear.I teach Pilates, yoga and ballet and really find this app so helpful. The quizzes are great to check your knowledge.Version: 5.7

Great but not perfectAs an exercise science student this app was extremely helpful in my AnP studies as well as my exercise physiology classes. That being said there are some things that could be improved upon. First the 3d models should include the elbow and some of the models should include ligaments and tendons as well as the muscle. Second the ability to zoom in on some of the models would be helpful. That being said the descriptions and depictions of the anatomy is accurate and very helpful. I would recommend this for undergrad studies or anyone wanting to improve their knowledge of AnP, however for graduate studies or the professional this app could be lacking.Version: 4.1

Great app quizzes need workThis app is awesome and has a lot of useful bone and muscle information, there's not much they can change or add to the information to make it any better. The two issues I have are with the quiz sections. 1- they do not have the nerve innervations which would be very helpful as one of the quizzes. They do however have action, origin and insertion quizzes. Which brings me to point 2 2- the quizzes could be setup better. When I am taking a quiz on the arm muscles and it shows me an arm muscles to identify and 3/4 of the multiple choice answers are leg muscles it doesn't encourage a learning environment. They need to keep possible answers on the quizzes regional to the part of the body of the quiz you are taking..Version: 3.0

Almost perfect, no audioI have always loved this app but I don't have audio anymore..Version: 4.1

Great for revisionI am currently on a level 4 sports massage course and obviously need to learn a great deal about anatomy. This app is fantastic for it and makes course work so much easier. It has some great little quiz's to keep you learning and engaged. This is they type of thing I got my iPad for to use software like this. I struggle to just digest text from books so seeing what it looks like in a 3d model and been able to explore the body in depth it a,axing and really intuitive..Version: 4.1

Great appWhether you're occupied in a medical field that requires you to explain and display what you're saying to educate clients/patients or you're like me and you just want to learn about the muscular and skeletal systems, this is a great app that will supply you with quite alot of quality information and is the best app based on this information that i've found for the price. Personally, my favourite part about it, is that it provides tests to chalkenge what you've learned to help reenforce your memory. From me, it comes highly recommended..Version: 4.1

Massage related - A++++As a newly certified massage therapist, I was struggling with studying A&P throughout training, and preparing for the MBLEx. Using this program really helped me review and pick up A&P stuff that I hadn't caught onto previously, and sure enough I passed the exam the first time, and I give all the thanks to this program for that. A few dollar charge to download is way better than having to pay $195 to retake an exam. This is a program that I can never go without!!!!.Version: 2.1

Great for studySooo helpful in my study. Love this APP. Keep up the good work.Version: 4.1

1st Year Osteopathy StudentReally helpful! Models are very accurate and clearly labelled and seeing the models from 360 degrees really helps with mental imagery. Quizzes are an excellent way to test your knowledge and kill some time on the tube/train/bus etc. My only problem is the labelling of boney landmarks, some are missing and some bones have very few labelled. The rotation feature in this app doesn't apply to each bone individually which is also a shame. Add these too an update and this app would be perfect!.Version: 4.0

Make quiz harderI bought the app to study massage, I find it easy to use and the pics are nice and clear. Would just like the multichoice quiz to be harder. The correct answer is easy to pic as the other 3 options are compleatly non related to the body area. Also would like to be quizzes on the name action and insertion, origin all in the same quiz..Version: 2.1

GreatI got this app for the kids to learn. Great app, kids are interested..Version: 3.0

AnatomyPretty awesome. Been a big help for 1st year anatomy so far. The 3d aspect is great as it puts everything into perspective..Version: 4.1

Very benificial!!This app has improved my quality and assisted me in every aspect for my college course in anatomy I love it.Version: 4.1

Lots of work on this, thanks!More complete and fun to use.Version: 0

Great for beginnersAs mentioned in other reviews, this is not an app for professionals, as the detail is not great enough, but it is the perfect app for undergrads studying anatomy..Version: 3.0

Great appThis app has helped my practice a lot..Version: 3.0

Brilliant app for my Personal Training DiplomaI purchased this app to help me study the anatomy as I am studying a personal training diploma this app has been brill. The graphics are top quality and the detail is brilliant. Also the options in breaking down area by area is great and the 3D views are great. All in all for anyone studying anything which includes anatomy and physiology whether it be medical, fitness or for any other point of interest this app is great I would recommend 100%.Version: 3.0

Good app indeedVery helpful as first year anatomy study focus on basic muscles and bones this app really give me all the information i need, especially the movement of the joint with all the info on which muscles has used in each movement, would be good if the bony landmarks are are more clear. Strongly recommended. Good on price as well..Version: 4.1

Fantastic app!Great for helping to rote learn the complex names and landmarks for functional anatomy.Version: 4.1

Great appGreat app! Helping me a lot with my studies. Awesome graphics and information, would recommend. Would be nice to see some more videos though.Version: 4.0

Brilliant!I am doing a course in anatomy, physiology and pathology and this app has been so useful. I have learnt so much from it in such a short space of time, and it has really helped me to get my head around things. Well worth getting if you are doing a course that requires you to learn the muscles and the skeleton. Excellent!.Version: 3.0

Wonderful resource for basic muscle ant skeletal anatomy!I'm a Pilates instructor and I have found this app to be both a great refresher of my anatomy knowledge, and also a wonderful resource for my clients, helping them to deepen their own understanding of their bodies. I especially love the actions section, it's extremely useful for any movement therapist. My only wish is that there were more videos; the ones on there are great and I want more! I have an iPad 2 and have had no technical problems with audio or anything else..Version: 3.0

Buy it!I am a sophomore in college and my girlfriend is as well. She is going to school to become a nurse. I bought the app for her because I thought it would be something good for her to use; however, when I was sitting there with her while she was studying I started getting more interested in it. Now we both use it and have a blast with the quizzes and we like to quiz each other. This is a very useful app and I highly recommend it to anyone going into the medical field to use this or if you are just interested more about your body. I also recommend this to any guy whose girlfriend is going into the medical field, because when she first saw it she was very pleased and happy to see that i cared about her future! Once again I highly recommend this app to anyone! I give it two thumbs up or two pollex up!.Version: 3.0

Great Source of InformationI use this app and its siblings to be able to better communicate with my personal trainer. She is a former World champion and World record holder in power lifting, has her masters in exercise science and sports medicine, is a certified athletic trainer and an associate college professor teaching nutrition. In other words, she is a voluminous resource of knowledge and experience. This app allows me to better communicate with her, and to better understand and internalize what she is giving me. The presentation, information and graphics are outstanding..Version: 3.0

Pretty good appI'm a recent graduate with a degree in kinesiology and I must say this app is pretty solid. It is missing a few deep muscles I'd prefer to see, but it gives you the origin and insertion of all the muscles anyone would need to know. If I could give a tip to the dev's, it would be to add a few of the deeper back muscles. That is a big problem area for many patients I see and it helps to have a visual available. All in all though, I'm glad I have this at my disposable. It's good to keep yourself sharp and this does help instead of pulling out my huge anatomy books all the time..Version: 4.0

Muscle & Bone Anatomy 3DUsing this App has proved to be very useful to explain injuries to friends and family, and having used other Apps this is definitely the best! Well done, especially for the level of detail and the 3D models- fantastic!.Version: 5.0

Great appThis is a great app very helpful. And informative.Version: 4.1

Fantastic app!As a sports massage therapist I have found this app really useful! The graphics are brill and the 3D diagrams allow you to appreciate how the muscles lie and interact far better than any textbook. Would definitely recommend it..Version: 3.0

ExcellentFantastic clear images that make learning and teaching much easier. As a riding instructor and artist I use this app in both my jobs to demonstrate and to learn. Now can we have the same type of thing for horse anatomy please . . ..Version: 3.0

Great appAwesome presentation of anatomy! I use this for educating my trainers and it is so incredibly useful! I wish I had this in university for studying..Version: 3.0

Ok for basic patient education.. Watch for mistakes...I am physical therapist assistant and I just bought this app today because of the great 3D graphics. Nice clear views for patient education on basic muscles and over view of the skeletal system.. except the foot. Within10 minutes, I noticed a huge mistake in the hip movement section. It is mentioned that for hip internal and external rotation and hip adduction and abduction that the HUMERUS is the long bone in the leg instead of the FEMUR...so if you are using this as a study tool...Beware of mistakes....Please fix this and I would give it more stars.... THANKS for fixing all the mistakes. Now you deserve 5 stars!!!!!!.Version: 4.0

Great for anatomy students!!!I'm taking anatomy right now and this has been a huge help in getting familiar with the muscles of the body. Pros: Very thorough and very accurate as compared to my lab book (~95%). Quiz feature is awesome. I just wish there were a feature in quizzes that was fill in the blank like on a lab practical. Cons: Nothing major. Missing a couple muscles as compared to my book: internal/external intercostals and flexor digitorum superficialis. Origins and insertions don't agree with my book 100%. It would be nice if you could zoom in on the 3D model instead of having separate close-up images. Probably harder to do though. A more customizable quiz section would be better too. Overall: This was more worth the money than my text book. I still need my text book but this is a really good supplement. -Students might appreciate a similar app on cats since it is a common animal used in anatomy dissection..Version: 3.0

I love it.I would recommend this app to anyone in a medical field . This is very useful. I use it for review and to keep my fresh . Well worth the money.Version: 4.0

Great appI'm doing a PT Diploma and after trawling the App Store, trying & testing different apps, this is by far the best suited for the anatomy & physiology part of the course I am studying now. It has exactly what I need, including the facility for me to make my own notes within the app. No need for note pads, scraps of paper, paperwork & books, this app means I can keep everything in one place & study on the go. I only recently noticed the media section as I originally thought it was Facebook link etc. but actually it has references to other information needed for my studies so more impressed than I was to start with! Only complaint... The speaker that says the body part aloud doesn't always work. But I would happily recommend this app to anyone studying A & P. Suggestion to authors for improvement: It would be useful to be able to jump between muscles & bones without having to come out of one or the other (like a pop up window or something) for when I want to see where insertion point might be for example, without having to find and go back in to original muscle. Or maybe even link from the word within the muscle description to the insertion point..Version: 4.1

Fab for studying anywhere!I have 3 of the real bodywork apps and am studying for anatomy and physiology and I love them. They are quick to use for short periods if you have a spare 10 minutes but keep you interested enough to use for much longer, especially if you learn visually! Thanks for creating such a useful app!.Version: 4.1

Love this app!As a busy personal trainer I find this app an invaluable tool when working with clients. I use it to help clients visualize the muscles they are working on in action. This gives them a more intimate knowledge and feel for their body which creates better results. Thank you and please keep adding on to this app!.Version: 5.6

Great Massage Exam Prep AppI got this app to study to take the MBLEx massage therapy license exam. It is truly outstanding! The 3D rotation and detail of the muscles is so worth the few dollars it costs. I had a difficult time understanding the depth of the different muscles based on diagrams in books and other iPad apps. This blew them all out of the water and I could finally clearly see where the muscles really were in relation to the muscles around them. The quizzes were also great prep!.Version: 4.1

Essential for bodybuidingIf you're doing bodybuilding or any type of fitness program, it is important to know the muscular and skeletal system and the different parts that make it. It is also important to know the functions of every muscle and bones so you will learn how to initiate the correct movements for different types of exercise. This app gives the stuffs you need in organised and clear way. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it needs more content particularly in the body parts section..Version: 4.1

Excellent Anatomy AppI used this app in my practice as a licensed massage therapist. The graphics are so well done and it was excellent to share with my clients. Just wish I had it when I was a student therapy student years ago. Now retired, I use this app in my own strength training and love it!.Version: 5.6

Great appThis app is amazing especially for med students who find anatomy not interesting and hard. The muscles are organised in compartments based in their function which i extremely like. Keep up the good work. Definitely worth the price..Version: 4.0

Really like itJust got the app because I've started a sports science and exercise degree. I really like it - shows all the major muscles and the search is really useful for finding the location of muscles that aren't so easy to find. I've recommended it to my friends and for £3 it's a really decent app..Version: 4.1

TranslationHow CAN i learn if I speak french?Please, help me!.Version: 3.0

Great AppThis is an amazing app! Some of the terms are slightly different then the anatomy books I've previously studied but you will find that with all anatomy books! This app actually has me excited to quiz myself daily! I would recommend this app to anybody studying anatomy and movement! I'm on my way to certifying in Pilates and this is an amazing tool at the tip of my fingers! My only issue with the app is every time I do the bone landmarks quiz over 100 questions when I get to the last question it crashes the app. I've completed it 3 times now and each time it crashed. I don't wanna lose all my test scores by deleting the app and starting over but it looks like that may be my only option and its a crappy 1. Please fix this glitch..Version: 4.1

Fantastic!!!!Love this app, it's great as a student to have something so clear and interactive to help with revision and understanding lectures. Would be five stars if it had a little more detail and more videos. Keep up the good work !!.Version: 3.0

Buy it! It's what you're looking for. This app is incredible. I have purchased all of the Real Bodywork apps because I was so impressed. This app has all the basic information you need to know about muscles, actions, insertions, origins, related nerves, etc. The contents of this app would take a textbook hundreds of pages to describe. There are many videos and 3D visuals that you have complete control over. Apps like this one are the beginning of electronic teaching and learning. You won't be disappointed with this app. I would recommend it to anyone studying or going into the medical field. I really hope Real Bodywork will come out with a tissues and integumentary app!.Version: 3.0

Amazing App for beginners in AP 1I did not take any anatomy & physiology in high school, but through the course of my college career I became very intrigued by the medical field. I am now studying to become a physicians assistant which means I really need to know my body and how it works! This application is the best money I have spent in college. I have learned all the muscles and bones paired with their functions due to the tools assembled within this ingenious app! I recommend this application to any and everyone who is or is not studying anatomy & physiology. This is by far a phenomenal app!!!!!!.Version: 4.1

Great appThis is a great app. It was kind of ok in the beginning but got so much better after update. Comparable to any of the other expensive apps. This one is great, and worth every cost. I'm very happy I got it. Great graphics and very detailed info..Version: 4.0

Worth it!It is a great app for studying. Very helpful and worth every penny..Version: 4.1

ExcellentA fantastic reference/learning tool! I wish they had things like this when I was an undergrad!! does crash occasionally though.Version: 4.0

Best Study ToolI love this app. I think the money I spent on it was the perfect amount. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the quizzes are timed, and don't give you enough time to think. There are other quizzes that are not timed. I love that you can study just the bone or just the muscles because I have my first bone practical tomorrow before the muscle practical next week. Love that the pictures are cartoon or real life. If you are looking for an easy way to study this app is awesome. Don't waste your money on an app that is more then this one..Version: 4.1

Very Nice, Easy to Use!I really like this reference. I am a student Esthetician, and this is enormously helpful in understanding the bones and muscles, and how they work together. I love the additional learning options of the movies and 3D model... it is so easy to see how a bone or muscle wraps around the body. I also love the action models, to see how the muscle and bone move together. I am amazed at the price for this reference! The navigation is also fairly intuitive, and for all of the complexity of the information being offered, it works very smoothly... a few navigational rules to remember, and you are all set. This has been very helpful in my studies, and I can see this being a very useful and effective tool for me to stay sharp in the future, as well. Highly recommended..Version: 4.0

Worth every $$I'm quite impressed with this app, especially due to the fact that all other anatomy apps are $25+ and this was much less with more specific content. Brilliant for general anatomy studies. Only issues I raise are: - The rotating skeleton controls. Please let us rotate and zoom it to where we want instead of its auto lock feature, it's annoying - The search engine works generally well but it doesn't have all of what's labelled in the diagrams in the search engine. Eg. Vertebra. Please fix! This app will be greater if these are fixed. Either way, if you're someone browsing this, don't hesitate to buy..Version: 4.1

Great productStudying a course that requires anatomy and muscles super helpful. Cheers Maree.Version: 4.0

Great appAs a final year Physiotherapy student and visual learner this app was a really big help. Quiz function is great to aid learning too..Version: 5.6

Lay personI am only a lay person, so can not comment on depth for medical student. I was involved in a road traffic accident, my physiotherapist used a wooden spine to try and explain. This app would of been perfect. Never before have I seen an app so interactive and easy to use with more information than my little brain can digest..Version: 3.0

Awesome! So close to perfect. I'm sure that as more information is added eg would like more information on the Lymphatic system including a detailed 3D diagram with all the lymph nodes. Some other areas likewise need more info but other than that, what a fantastic app! Keep up the good work :o).Version: 4.1

Finally!I have never bothered to write a review before but this app is incredible. I'm purchased this to study for a personal trainer exam. The information is easy to access and understand. The quizzes are easy to customize. The graphics and 3D are what really did it for me. I can finally understand how all the muscles work together! I've learned more in a week than I did trying to study from other apps and books in a month. I'm serious. It is really fun and engaging unlike anything else I have worked with. Overall, it is just an incredible value!.Version: 4.1

The best anatomy appAmazing app, extremely clear and well presented. I doubt I can find a better app than this. Very helpful with my study and reference, highly recommend..Version: 4.1

Great for learnersIts a great app for learners and i can also help kids learn at their schools and other places. Dimo 188.Version: 3.0

Worth investmentEasy to learn and remember . It’s also assist me to understand fast. Pronouncing also helps my confidence to say the name of muscles. Thanks a million.Version: 5.0

Easier to visualise than a textbookOff work at the moment with a locked back, physio has just been to explain iliopsoas problem, £2.99 on this app and I can now visualise the problem, mad what I need to do to help. Brilliant, and very inexpensive considering.Version: 4.1

Study aidFound this app useful on both my iPhone and iPad while studying anatomy for sports massage exams and would recommend to anyone who need to learn anatomy. The quiz is great. However sorry that I have just found the new update is too big for my iPhone to download so can only use fully on iPad..Version: 4.1

GreatThis app is great! It has really helped me learn the muscles. Great recent update..Version: 5.0

Great!I love this app and the quizzes are very helpful. I certainly use it all the time as a review. However, I did notice some spelling errors, and I learned that "movement of the arm across the chest" was horizontal adduction, which is not addressed (along with horizontal abduction). I would also like some more information on the nerves (such as their pathways and maybe some info on the plexuses). I also didn't notice a quiz on just the nerve innervations, which would be helpful. Nonetheless, thank you for the great app!.Version: 4.1

Extremely Helpful!!I am studying for my certification in pilates and this app is SO useful! It is better than any flashcards or anatomy book. Simple, but exactly what i needed It has made learning a massive amount of information enjoyable and easy. The quizzes are a perfect way to test all of the information I have obtained. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in the body and/or needing to study for a test of certification like myself!.Version: 3.0

Great Help for WorkoutsI use this app frequently to inform stretches and workouts for my older body. Though never an athlete, I was once in pretty decent shape with regular cardio and strength workouts and appropriate stretching. An overly long hiatus from that routine has sent me back to the starting block with a need for patience and body knowledge that presents an all new challenge. I find that I am better able to address recalcitrant muscles, new aches and pains, stiffness, etc. if I can visually identify the relevant joints, muscles and connective tissue involved. This app is great for finding, viewing and learning about all those "moving parts' that don't quite move the way they used to. I am better able to discuss progress with my trainers, docs, etc. if I correctly refer to a body part by name, rather than saying that "it's that bump thingy just at the tip of the 'wing' on my shoulder blade." And there's something to be said -- as a lay person -- for 'knowing oneself' inside and out..Version: 4.1

A great educational tool for little onesMy nearly 3 year old daughter has really enjoyed learning about her bones and muscles..Version: 4.1

BrilliantReally really good, just what I needed for my revision. Love the different types of quiz, really detailed pictures and 3-d models. Also like the feature where you choose a body part and choose an action and the body part does it. Fab..Version: 4.1

Great appAs a therapist I find this great to show clients the troubled area when treating injuries well done!!!.Version: 4.1

BUY IT!This app is FANTASTIC!!! They've got quizzes, interactive 3D models, videos, explanations--everything I need to ace my anatomy test (which I was sure was a hopeless task). Well worth the 7 bucks--I'll be using this for a VERY long time..Version: 4.0

Love itIt's so detail and interactive with quizzes and the rotation 3D human body. I recommend to 30 over of my friends that has downloaded as well...Version: 4.1

Love it!!Its a great app! Doesnt have all the muscles i need and a few more than i need but great studying tool. Only have a few wishes. I wish you could "zoom in" on the full body more. And i would love to be able to rotate the parts that are zoomed in to get better/different views. When taken the create your own quizes, it would be nice to have similar parts instead of a neck, arm, leg, and stomach muscle. The only real issue I've had is the quiz and sometimes just turning the body causes the program to freeze. --PA student.Version: 3.0

Food app butThis is a new app to me; I am studying A & P and was looking for a good revision aid. I do think its good, diagrams are really clear and accurate, but I was a bit disappointed when running through the boney landmark quiz, to get to the last 2 questions and the app shut down not recording my results, this has happened twice now. i can live without it but do feel a bit disappointed and wonder what else i might find as i progress..Version: 4.1

Great appI got this app when I was studying sports massage and still use it 5 years on It’s so easy to use and I still do the quizzes to keep fresh with info I would definitely recommend for anyone interested in the human body.Version: 5.6

Great appCurrently studying remedial massage and physiotherapy and with this app, it makes it so much easier to understand the process.Version: 4.1

Good, basic and clear informationCurrently working in outpatients and just wanted something easy and clear to get me thinking. Like it. Doesn't cover all the muscles which would be brill but covers the major ones. Worth a fiver!.Version: 4.1

Wonderful resource for exercise leadersThis app is a terrific resource for learning about muscles, bones, motion, etc if you are aiming to become an exercise and fitness leader or yoga instructor..Version: 4.1

Very helpfulThis app has been useful in my study. I have had it for a month and regularly refer to it. I expect I will continue to do so too..Version: 3.0

Best Anatomy Tool!I am a professional fitness instructor and personal trainer and I love using this app. It's quick and the voice feature is awesome because I want to make sure that I not only know what I'm talking about but I can say the name correctly. I really like using it..Version: 5.0

It's a keeperI picked up this app back in 2010 when I just wanted to know a few muscle names. Now as a professional remedial therapist, it's still my first point of call for muscle placements, origins and insertions, bony landmarks and tendon placement. For everyone from Joe Bloggs wondering where the traps are, to musculoskeletal therapists checking the insertion point of the piriformis on the femur, this app is gold! Also those quizzes are awesome.Version: 4.1

AmazingThis app is amazing, I wish I had have found it when I was doing all those exams. Shell.Version: 3.0

Great app!Currently studying Human anatomy and was struggling with my course notes that they gave me, but this app has helped me out so much with my studies and understanding muscles and bones..Version: 4.1

Good App for Anatomy studentsIts a good app. Hopefully will add more muscles In the next update..Version: 2.1

Good for quizesA great App if your looking for quizzes on anatomy of the skeleton and muscles. Variety of different styles that test spelling, labelling and pin point 'guess the part' type quizzes. Not much variety in the 3D models (very basic) and annotations are very general and not very detailed. Good amount detail for origin, insertion etc. Great if your looking for a general over view..Version: 4.1

Very useful resource.Been using this app for so many years now. Working as a PT I use this to explain to clients what where working and how. Definitely recommend this app..Version: 5.6

Very helpfulA member of our family was injury, this app prove helpful in understanding the injury. We are not health professionals , but over the years serveral members had extensive training in first aid. So we were delighted to use this as visual aid. Thank you for designing this app. Al.Version: 4.1

Best studying tool by far!!!!!I've spent a lot of money on text books and probably just as much on anatomy and physiology apps. I believe I spent $40 on one and it was a huge waste of money. It was extremely hard to navigate and even harder to comprehend the information. This is by far the best study tool I've ever had. It's worth every penny and then some. It's extremely user friendly and very comprehensive. The simple layout and stunning graphics make studying much more exciting. I also highly recommend their sister app for organs. The simple layout and condensed text is both easy to understand and very informative! The only thing I would request is more videos. The videos are very helpful and explain things so that novices have no trouble following along. Thank you for the wonderful app!.Version: 4.1

Even better!Great app, improved so much with the latest update, love it!.Version: 3.0

Superb appAs a sports massage therapist I have found this app incredibly useful in explaining muscles to my clients as they can see and understand how numerous muscles work together. For its price I couldn't be happier!.Version: 3.0

MrsThis app is great, I started a personal trainer course and it has been a great help with learning all the different bones and muscles. I have found one or two of the options on the muscle section not working properly but overall would recommend. The 3D models are also fab..Version: 4.0

GoodIt’s a good app..Version: 5.5

Perfect for fitness instructorsI've been a trainer for 10 years and am just starting to use an iPad instead of my trusty old NSCA clipboard. In the past I've used print outs that illustrate things like the hip flexors, rotator cuff, scapular stabilizers, vertebrae, etc in order to give clients a visual of what we're working on. This app obviously shows all that in good detail and then some! A perfect level of detail for my purposes. Very excited to incorporate it..Version: 3.0

Muscle & bone anatomy 3DThis app is absolutely excellent value for money as a lay person I find this invaluable I do not doubt this would be of immense help to medical students also. I will be getting more of these apps as I require them thank you so much for this great app..Version: 4.1

OMG a Massage Professional Must Have!I would give it 10 stars if I could! Absolutely love this & is (beyond) exactly what I was looking for. You get insight on the superficial and deeper muscles and bones, fascia, movement & MORE! ....Their purpose, job & location in correspondence to it's " neighbors"..... Love this love this LOVE this app! The 3d affect is a super added bonus. The info & insight is user friendly & very educational. A reintroduction to the education we already have & might have ( slightly) forgotten. I am a MP of 13 years... I love this.. My clients love this... So worth the money! Puts you ahead of the " game"!.Version: 3.0

ExcellentReally useable, very detailed, great resource app..Version: 4.1

Pilates studentSince discovering Pilates three years ago, I have been trying to understand anatomy of movement, even twice taking a Core Intelligence course to increase my understanding. Proprioception (body awareness), and body control are both new to me, this ap helps me understand the action of muscle on bone, since bone rhythms are a big component of well executed Pilates, this ap has been a huge help. I actually sat with my instructor yesterday as we reviewed the video on the leg and she was astounded at how helpful it is. She is buying the ap for her iPad!.Version: 0

Great!Very useful app for explaining the body to my patients..Version: 4.1

FantasticMost comprehensive, detailed medical anatomy app I've seen yet..Version: 4.1

Great appThis app helped me to understand some sporting injuries. A great resource for the non medico types..Version: 4.1

Great! (but found it late)I wish I would've downloaded this 3 months sooner to help enlighten and further illustrate some of the things I learned in the Coursera course 'Out on a Limb: The Anatomy of the Upper Limb'. Regardless, I compared closely when I decided to get one of these apps and I can truly say I am glad I spent 4.99 for this app. It's interface, organization and quality of illustrations is amazing. Now I use it as a tool for referencing the aching muscles I have so I can get busy with the foam roller. Thanks for an instructive and affordable app on this topic!.Version: 4.1

GreatGreat for fast review of anatomy and for patients education.Version: 5.0

Easy to use & informativeGreat graphics and manoeuvrability. As an interested amateur I was better informed and better armed with accurate information..Version: 4.1

Muscle and bone ApLove it! Easy to use, informative and accurate..Version: 4.0

Great teaching apAs a dance teacher I am often talking about muscles, joints and bones, so I find this both fascinating and useful. Other family members are sports teachers and find it equally useful to illustrate to their students what, where and how!.Version: 4.1

Amazing appThis app is incredible! It was recommended to me by my trainer as I am studying A&P and he thought it would be helpful. It is extremely helpful! The images are so clear and detailed it makes it so easy to understand and remember. The quizzes And tests are also impressive - I'm finding myself very surprised about how much I've learned without even realising it. I can definitely recommend this app to anyone who is studying or even just interested in A&P..Version: 4.1

Brilliant study companionUse it. Love it. What’s next?.Version: 5.3

LoveThis app is great!.Version: 4.1

Incredibly useful!I'm a high school student in Science Olympiad, and for one of my events I am studying the musculoskeletal system. I've found that this is the BEST ELECTRONIC LEARNING RESOURCE I have found so far! It's extremely organized, featuring 3D models, videos, pronunciation, details about each bone and muscle (origin, insertion, action, etc), and self-quizzes. Great for visual learners like me, who find it helpful to drag things around in different angles to view them. The app has a very easy-to-use interface, but the content is not elementary at all--the information is quite detailed. LOVE THIS APPPPPP.Version: 4.1

Invaluable aid for understanding yourself & others.I am a keen yoga practitioner who initially knew very little about our anatomy. This highly intuitive & user-friendly App puts everything regarding basic anatomy into perspective, and has really helped me to define my goals & methods for advancing in my practice..Version: 3.0

Don't hesitateEasy to use and generally excellent. Recent version update to include carpals and tarsals make it even better. My favourite bit is the actions with a looping video clip of the joint movement and below it each muscled engaged to support it. Highly recommended..Version: 4.0

Good ap.Good ap. I would like to see more flexibility in the views but is very user friendly. The ap helps with different learning styles of individuals because of quizzes, 3D models and facts. Good for price..Version: 4.1

Great funReally interesting fun way to learn, great graphics and quizzes.Version: 4.0

Awesome AppI'm a personal trainer and have been using this app as a visual aid for my clients. Invaluable! Get it!.Version: 4.1

AwesomeI am a personal trainer and have found this app so helpful. It helps pronounce the Latin names, go deep into the anatomy of the body where injuries tend to happen to the muscles but no one knows the names of those muscles that have been injured. It gives the actions of the muscles and therefore you can plan a regime to help strengthen a clients existing injury or just help that clients mobility. I rate this app highly for those reasons..Version: 4.0

We Use it a lotAs a Somatic Educator and bodyworker, are use this app all the time to demonstrate and clarify what I am doing with my clients. They love it. I love it too!.Version: 5.6

Anatomical educatorA great display when explaining the body part to patients..Version: 5.7
