✓ Works in a fashion.Not one for writing reviews but I thought that I should have a go having downloaded FSXFollow. My summary would be that it works fine but appears to be a bit on the flakey side. I downloaded and installed the PC elements with absolutely no problems. On running FSX Follow on my IPad, it seemed to connect ok at first until I realized that the aircraft listed wasn't mine! This happened a number of times with even a mysterious Space Shuttle listed. However, once the right connections were achieved, the program did a very good job of tracking the fight progress. Interestingly there was some clear collation between the map display and that ground detail that FSX was displaying so this program is great fun for those interested in simulated VFR flying. As mentioned above, the program is a bit flakey at times and tended to fall over now and again but to be fair, the program was very stable for the vast majority of the time. I would suspect that the problems experienced were more about the communications via a server between the PC and laptop. It would be a great improvement if this link could be improved somewhat. All in all, a nice little app that does a very reasonable job and at a price that is also, I feel, very reasonable too. It certainly adds a new dimension to simulated flights and frees up some of the resources that similar programs take up when run via the PC..Version: 0

✓ Works okI see very jumpy performance on my IPAD2. I believe everything is working fine with the exception of the flight path and movement being jumpy. I thought it would be very smooth. Be able disable from the plane and option look around and search in wider area as now u only can see the area nearest your A/C ,every single time the system update wearer back in current position of A/C and lost the track we want . 2nt we need to be able see more then just one nearest Airport, at least 3 or 5 would be much better and of corse in better quality then is now ! 3th we should be able to see not only ALT but also True Heading and speed! ✓ FSX Follow has potentialInstalled this application today on my iPAD and FSX system and tested it out. Works as advertised but needs more features. I would like to see the following enhancements to make it more useful: 1. Continuous historical display of aircraft track line instead of "push pins" on the map for the last five position updates. 2. Course line if flight plan has been entered 3. Use of aviation charts such as Sectional, TAC, en route charts, etc 4. Flight sim aircraft data displayed on bottom edge of map (speed, altitude, heading) 5. An easy/obvious way to save screenshots on the iPAD once they are displayed, so they can be used as "wallpaper" Can anyone see your aircraft once you are logged in? It would seem so, as you just need to select the aircraft name from the list in the iPAD application..Version: 0

✓ Missing most of the outlined featuresThere is a moving map in 2D or 3D and basic information about airports, but no visible navaids, no route shown on map, cockpit view fails and auto zoom only seems to work in 3D. Practice approaches work. Given the price it is ok for a moving map, but don’t expect much from the other components, nor help from the developer as my request for help was ignored. Shame, as the app does have potential..Version: 2018
✓ MSFS 2020 supportI purchased this app to provide so added information to the flight simulator without having to drill down or trying to use a control with the mouse. The pc component downloaded and seemed to communicate with MSFS 2020. I was unable to get the iPad app to connect to it. The help files were more a history of flight simulation. I could not find any help on their site or with any Google searches..Version: 2065

✓ Two and a half stars...First of all, the 'cockpit' view you see in the sample screens is actually not a cockpit view, but rather a screenshot sent to the app from fsx, so obviously not great for watching. The moving map works nicely, but I don't see the vors runways or anything for that matter, just a map. I've asked the developer what I'm doing wrong and haven't heard back in days, so thats not great. However, considering how unique the flight simming niche is, I'm glad this app was created and hopefully it gets a bit of enhancement over time..Version: 1.7

✓ Great app with great potential...I've been looking for ages for a moving map on the ipad and iphone for use with fsx and this is just that with added benefit of being able to view my cockpit from downstairs watching tv when doing a long haul flight. I do hope this app has further development as i would like to see the following:- 1. Map - I would like the ability to zoom in and out using pinch etc without it refocusing on a standard zoom. This way I can see exactly where in the world I am at present rather than just over a city... 2. Map - I like how it tracks your path, however instead of using lots of pins can you just draw a line like plane finder app does? 3. Screen shots - I like this feature but the updating of each screen shot is not smooth at all, it flashes and reloads every x seconds and doesn't give you can chance to view before it's reloading. The reloads causes the screen to lose it's image for a second.. Maybe allow screen updates every xx seconds customisable by the user.. Also please get the refresh smooth if possible. It would be nice to see video updates but can understand this may be difficult.. 4. Privacy - can you develop the app so it's only available to the person doing the flight as not everyone will want their screen shots showing to the Internet. Allow a local wifi connection instead of going over the internet 5. Maps - can you allow satellite and hybrid views and maybe even terrain? 6. Can you show airspeed and alt on the map? One other review stated that it just didn't work, however mine works fine so please don't assume this is the case. I look forward to future developments with this app as it's great....Version: 0

✓ DisappointedIt simply doesn't work. Downloaded and followed the directions, downloaded the software to my PC, no nothing. Won't connect, wont allow me to create a password, no drop down menu, none of the things the help menu tells me to do are there. Could be its not compatible with Windows 10 but if that's the case , they should have said so. Glad it was not three dollars, at least I didn't lose much, but it was a loss of three dollars. ✓ Not as good as it used to be.I used to love this app! I do most of my simulator flying in Northern B.C., bush flying and this app was ideal as it gives me a moving map as close as I need. Now it hardly ever works and doesn’t have the google earth detail that it used to. Sorry. Just isn’t that good anymore..Version: 2018
✓ GoodApp did not work at first but after contacting support, I was able to get it to work. The app works good, it follows your airplane position. Could use some more features. Like being able to view the airport your enroute to and if you can move the map without auto moving back to your current position. Fun app to have....Version: 2.0
