✓ Like a broken record but..Can we please slow the game down a bit. Apart from that I love galaxian and this game has made me very happy indeed. ✓ Pretty good**Update May 2020** I think there’s a scoring bug that needs fixing. The score for the little yellow guy is inconsistent. If you hit him when he is charging with his wingmen, you only score 60 (his convoy score) for him, even if you hit him last. If you hit him when he is charging on his own, you score 800. This should be the other way round. Like the original, you should be rewarded 80p for hitting him last after destroying his protection. Not a bad conversion at all for the price. Looks and sounds authentic. Struggle a bit with the virtual joystick but the fire button is very responsive. I think the speed issue raised in other reviews has been addressed in later releases. Seems fine to me. Would like to see the scores appear above ships when you hit a combination and the screen which shows the score for each ship..Eddie2010Version: 2.1

✓ Galaxia reviewThis looks and sounds great. I was a champion player in the early eighties, so I have a few suggestions. 1. The first level really is too fast. 2. The angle of attack of the Galaxians is too steep. You used to get underneath them to take them out. 3. The joystick controls aren't responsive enough. ✓ ClassicBack in the day this was my favourite arcade game, and in later years I even had a Galaxian arcade machine at home. So to find a game that faithful replicated this classic is very satisfying. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the scores 800 by shooting two reds and the a yellow doesn’t appear to be part of this port. But a lifetime of playing means I can’t help but run that gauntlet every time it’s presented to me. Maybe in an update, or it is for copyright reasons that this functionality isn’t included?.DavodNVersion: 2.1

✓ Now has the external game controller support it neededUpdate to my earlier review and now I love it. It was already a nice rendition of the classic game but play was marred by clumsy and unresponsive touch controls. The developer has just added game controller support, and now it is a joy to play (with my controller). I loved this game in the arcades in my younger years, and it still has a wonderful charm about it. Thanks again to the developer for adding MFi game controller support to this and a number of other games..WheellixxVersion: 2.1

✓ We need more!I love this game! I definitely give off no negativity, great work! But if there’s one game I think you should consider uploading, it’s Galaga. If you ever can, please try to upload the game. Galaga is my favorite game in the Galaxian series (I say the Galaxian series because Galaga is the sequel to Galaxian). Please give us Galaga. ✓ Almost ExcellentTrust me I played a lot of Galaxians in the late 70s early 80s (top score 80,000 plus) and this is a brilliant representation of the game. I think it starts off a tad faster than the original but the main problem is the controls. I am struggling to really get the hang of the controls. For that 4 stars..BrentdavidsVersion: 1.2

✓ Point systemIn the arcade machine the flagship with two escorts were worth 800 points once the escorts were destroyed, in the app version, you can destroy the escorts and the flagship is worth the convoy points. ✓ To the developer .....You are so close to nailing this but two issues that need addressing which are the scoring anomaly that has been well documented in the previous reviews but for me the most important one is the collision detection is way too forgiving. If you play the arcade rom your missiles quite often fly between the Galaxians but on her you’re guaranteed a hit if you’re close enough. However, kudos for including controller compatibility, it’s fantastic. Like I say, you are so close to nailing this port 👍🏻.Bill GordoniVersion: 2.1

✓ To the developerThis is very close to the original, however I’ve noticed 2 things. When 2 reds and a yellow fly down, killing the 2 reds followed by the yellow would give you 800 points for the yellow one alone and it would display this where the yellow alien was. When killing a yellow alien it would for a time , slow the aliens from flying down..Mat1aceVersion: 2.1

✓ Faithful but controls are hardThis is almost a perfect port of the original in terms of graphics and sound. The movement is not quite authentic esp. for the motherships and henchmen when they come down together. Also there is no bonus (I.e. 800 for getting all three). The worst part is that the left/right control is hard to be precise with which adds difficulty. Wish they could fix that..JbridgukVersion: 2.1

✓ Arcade greatness!Love this app which is a great rendition of Galaxians but must agree with some others that the first level is a tad too fast and when you shoot the galaxians in the original game the score used to come up in place of the galaxian ie 200 400 and 800 so an update would be great addressing these issues otherwise great.. ✓ Control lets it downGreat game and a very good reproduction of the original. Control is not so good in that your finger often hides your craft so you can't see where it is exactly.
