✓ Not working ! Waste of money.Bought the app because of the good reviews, and it was a waste of MONEY. It doesn’t even work for my iPhone X like it said it would. ✓ No need for this application.If you have an inch of common sense you would have worked out the way in which to create a ringtone from any song/mp3/mp4 on your computer directly from iTunes. It is a far quicker process than having to sync your phone multiple times to get them, which is what this app does. For people who don't know about the INS and outs of iPhones this is great but, two minutes research on google or various other forums would have saved you 59p. If there is a function that can be added to this app to make recorded ringtones go directly into settings I would be willing to pay £5 for this application..Version: 0
✓ Great app but.It work perfectly for the first three and return to do more and don’t play selected song. The same happens with your other app. Some times I don’t mind paying for an apps but it must work. Also you have no contact maker. ✓ So frustratingThis would be a great app if it worked properly...I paid $1.19 for this app and haven't been able to access all my saved ringtones in my iphone...its so frustrating. I have saved the apps to the desktop, sync, copied them in ringtones, sync again, when I go to sounds only one ringtone is on my iphone, then if I try it again that one will disappear and another one will be there. I can't seem to get them all. I also noticed taht I paid for the ringtone designer pro but the screen shots are different my screen shots seem to be the free version not the paid version. ✓ Terrible App!Dont be fooled by the 5-star ratings, this app is not all its made out to be. The procedure of actually creating the ringtone is fantastic, however things start to get worse. Once the ringtones are on the computer and you are ready to sync them to your phone, a meassage pops up saying all music, films and tv programmes must be erased for the ringtone to be put on the phone :|. Ive never seen something so silly in all of my life. Its too much of a fuss to put everything back on my ipod. Im just waiting for another ringtone designer app to appear where i dont need to erase from my ipod. Shocking! Do not buy unless you really want ringtones on your phone and dont mind having to load everything back on each time you want to put a new ringtone on your phone. ✓ Improvements RequiredGood however does require number of enhancements to make it perfect as highlighted below in order of priority: 1. Ability to use the selection saved as ringtone direct from the iPhone rather than having to go to iTunes and go through additional steps otherwise this App is useless as it is already possible to create M4R files very easily on the computer and add to iTunes 2. Ability to also copy music selection from Podcasts is essential 3. Access to the saved ringtones from the iPhone itself will be good as right now you have to connect to the computer and is too many steps for this technology 4. Getting the selection to come to the edges is rather a challenge and I have not been able to do it so far 5. Allowing longer selection will be good idea 6. Ability to choose seconds you would like to use as a selection and just move the set time to the correct position will be good Once these improvements have been made I’m certain this will be one of the most popular Apps for the iPhone..Version: 0

Instead of bagging this app out like a few had done I would much rather point out some features it lacks and could make it better if implemented. - position locking (ability to lock the start and end markers as it's frustrating having to reset them when you accidentally move them.) - landscape mode - zoom into wave (to be able to precisely set the markers) - nudge controls (to help people with big fingers easily select the the marker positions) - playback controls (ability to pause, rewind, fast forward and select position when playing back the snip-it) - playback time (for the song and playback) - shortcuts to set a contact's ringtone (only when the publisher has figured out how to add ringtones automatically without the need for iTunes - if that is possible) Implement these well and you shall get the 5 stars from me..Version: 0
✓ Why do apple make is so difficult?So on any other make of phone it is so easy to select a song and make it a ringtone, not only that but you also get the entire song as your ringtone not just a 30 second segment. Now comes apple with it's standard, boring ringtones, then they finally pull their finger out but also rip you off at the same time by having to pay for a ringtone that's actually more expensive than the whole song on iTunes. We now have third party developers who are trying to sort it but still seem to get it wrong. 1. Clips are still too short. Have an option to have the whole song or whatever length we want. 2. This app doesn't seem to want to convert songs I have purchased from iTunes into ringtones, I tried 10 songs I have purchased and each one said it was unable to. Only songs I have put onto iTunes from CDs seem to work. I am a huge apple fan but I am starting to lose heart as they seem to be making life difficult for developers to make the apps we all want what with dodgy iPhone4 phones, lack of ringtones and no flash! ✓ Not worth the upgradeI downloaded the free version of this app at first to see if it would be worth paying for. After making my first ringtone and seeing how simple it was to make them I thought it would be worth buying so that i could make as many as i wanted. BUT... It says turn short clips into ringtones, on the free version it would let me make a 20 second clip, I thought that if i paid for the full version that maybe the clips would be slightly longer, but they're not! The only difference between the free and paid app is that with the free app you get a wavelength bar and with the paid app you get a counter. And although the counter might sound like it would be more accurate i challenge you to try and the start time down 5/10th of a second, its impossible!!! Its enough of a challenge trying to make the clip a second sooner! Ways to improve, make the clips a bit longer, enough to at least play the full corus for a ringtone!.Version: 0

✓ Could do betterThere's no doubt that Ringtone Designer does what it says. And I have managed to put together quite a few, perfectly acceptable ringtones from my music library. There are, however, a couple of design parameters that could immensely improve the performance of the app. i) it would be helpful to have a time counter running when you're selecting the excerpt you wish to turn into a ringtone. At the moment you have to watch where the line is and then move the start/finish control so that you accurately choose the appropriate start/finish moment. It's very hit and miss - and would be immeasurably improved by a time counter. ii) There must be a way to move the ringtone you've just created from your device and into iTunes without all the palaver currently required. Could the app not have a 'put directly into iTunes' button where, on setup, you select which folder you'd like to store the ringtone in, and then, thereafter, hey presto? I would certainly rate the app one star higher for each of the improvements I've suggested - do the arithmetic....Version: 1.8

Certainly something my grandfather thought was real high-speed and nifty along with his new fangled Walkman and microwave oven. I would have given this app zero stars if it were possible but I suppose 1 star is appropriate. Maybe the developer can use it to develop some type of speed control regulator for cars. This would be awesome. Just think, wouldn’t it be so nice to not haven to use the accelerator pedal to cruise at a constant and steady speed during long trips down the Oregon Trail. If only there was something that could wipe the windshield on demand when it rains. My face gets real wet and chapped after having to stick it out of the drivers side window to see where I’m going. I bought the full app purely due to this so was disappointed to find that the maximum length is 30 seconds, only 10 seconds more than the free version.
