Even if you manually turn it back on using Control Panel, the app will shut the music down instantly again. Why are you doing this and at the same time constantly requesting microphone access? ✓ Pretty useless, due to limitationsThis app actually receives negative stars because it takes up space (exists) without doing any good. I registered an account after downloading the app so I could save the snacks I want on the app, and buy them all when I visit mainland China. Then I’m told the account is being protected and I cannot add items to my shopping cart nor can I save/like some things to a list for future shopping. I asked the customer service they said it’s because when I registered I probably used unsafe connections or having unsafe apps in my phone so then the system went ahead and did these protective measures for my own good. ✓ Can not change my settings at all!Like what I said in the title, that’s not all. I love Taobao for sure, you can get basically everything on it. Just recently, when the app updated, there’s a split screen when I clicked on something. I thought that’s because I was using he iPhone version on my iPad. But just yesterday, the home page and also other pages just shrunk into an iPhone size, I try to log out of it, but I can’t even open the setting. So basically, now I cannot change my settings in order to switch into the iPad version because it ask me to log in through the iPhone version. It is really stressful because I can purchase stuffs, but cannot ask any questions regards to the store assistance or do anything on the ‘my Taabao’ page (the page with all the most import stuff, like account, what I bought, when I bought...). They prevent you from paying for all imported products listed as “全球购” and 天猫国际” if your Alipay or other payment method is not verified with a mainland China ID card. Even if your Alipay is fully verified with a passport, it doesn't allow foreigners and HK/Macau citizens to buy imported products tagged with those things. This has become a lot worse recently. Previously, they only restricted foreigners from buying "天猫国际” products which is a small fraction of their sellers. However, in the last few weeks they have introduced a new tag “全球购” which covers all imported products sold by reliable sellers that have been around for more than just a few days. This is probably 95% of all imported products. In short, if you're a foreigner that works legally in China, from HK or Macau, you cannot buy imported products from trustworthy sellers. ✓ Not for non ChineseIt’s a good app for people who live in China. But not for us. There are a lot more problems like shipping (直郵/集運),delivery date, customs for entering your country and taxes. The first time I ordered on this app, I thought I can just pay and wait for the package to rob. But no, I had to download an app for entering my country, signing up an account, stay alerts for any notifications for letting your package passing through security customs, and taxes. So don’t recommend for people who doesn’t live in China. It’s so much work and cause me a lot of anxiety..Version: 10.27.10
✓ Worse customer serviceThe app allow third party of the company’s choice to open your packages for consolidation while not monitoring if the items inside are missing. When items gone missing they blame buyer and/or seller couldn’t provide proof such as video of you opening and count item. When you ask their third party to proof all items are packed since they signed and opens original package, only thing you will get is “station says everything if fine” no evidence will be provided and then all sort run around till time expired system force you to pay automatically..Version: 10.12.0

✓ Horrible app design for guests, way too pushy.Horrible experience if you’re just looking or shopping as a guest. Scene I start use this app, it keep popping out “ please login “ and “ website error “ notification and it keep send me to another page. Every time when you click on something it sent you to a login page, or tells you that website error. You can not review any product options or any more further information about what’s available i.e: size, colour, shape. Those “ please login “ and “ website error “ will pop out not even 5 seconds, it’s so annoying and it makes this app almost impossible to use if you just want to use it as a guest. ✓ Worst app ever!!!!!!I bought some clothing on this app on Oct, and it took almost 2 months to deliver. TaoBao has a policy said if the delivery time is over 30 business days, they can refund your shipping fee. However, if you pay in USD, it won’t refund USD to your bank account, instead, they will refund Chinese Yuan to your TaoBao account, because they don’t have a refund directly to your bank account service!! So, if you can not wait 2 month or even longer for your package , don’t buy!!!! Also, if you can not accept the shipping fee are not refunded directly to your USD account, DO NOT buy!!!!.Version: 10.6.0
