✓ Can’t search or add favoritesThe app is not very user-friendly. It offers very little options as far as searching for and exploring new podcasts. And the ability to add a show as a favorite still doesn’t seem to work. When I touch the star nothing happens, but if I touch it again it asked me if I want to remove it as a favorite. And yet when I look at my favorites list there is nothing there. So it’s acknowledging that I’ve added a favorite, but at the same time it’s not. Still a lot of functionality issues with this app..Version: 7.13
✓ Bad company!I'm disappointed in the fact that this company doesn't seem to have any ethics. There is a Spreaker user with 7million plays who is using their service to make slanderous videos about people, including children. There is no Report function or anything of that nature to get them to look into it. Nasty 👎.Version: 7.10
✓ I'm not sure it does the basics1. All apps on AppStore have dark mode since iOS early update but I wonder why I can't see and switch in this app. I don't spend time on this app because everything is on white background which drains my battery so fast. 2. Playlist doesn't work. I can't edit it. I can't add or remove podcasts to playlist. I clicked the love button to favorite any podcast but it doesn't show on favourites tab. 3. No next, fast-forward, previous or rewind buttons. I had to drop this rating to one star.Version: 7.30.1
✓ Worse podcast app I’ve usedThe app doesn’t allow you to change the seconds on the skip function. If you’re not going to tailor ads to the individual, then don’t broadcast far left or far right political ads. This is the only app where the skip button on my car skips an entire podcast and not a few seconds..Version: 7.34.0
✓ Long time userI’ve had this app for a few years now. But I have to say it’s not the easiest to use. The front page is quite confusing because it’s a bunch of random stuff. Getting to the search button and finding new episodes from people I follow is annoying because not easily found..Version: 7.25.5
✓ Great app, Great new look - one major problemThe only item with colour when recording cannot, should not be the stop/record button, because then you believe it's the pause/play button. Please add some colour to the track selection buttons and the pause/play and on/off mic button! Kill the confusion..Version: 6.0.1

✓ Miles ahead of clunky AnchorAm migrating the JontySpeaks Show to Spreaker from Anchor, which is not only clunky and unintuitive but ruins your post produced clean sound with heavy OTT compression. Spreaker is the easiest I’ve ever used and for those who have outgrown Anchor —which is ok for starting out like I am— it is a revelation. Why the difference? I think because Spreaker has to be paid for at £6.49 a month if you want to do anything serious past five hours of content explains why its superior to Anchor, which is free. As the old Economics axiom as Uncle Milton Friedman used to say, “There Aint No Such Thing As A Free Lunch”, (TANSTAAFL) or as my Grandmother put it, “You don’t get something for nothing.”.Version: 7.16.10

✓ Excellent podcast app, except...Update Jan 29, 2018 - the app has an ongoing issue with suddenly not being able to connect to the chat area during live broadcasts. It requires stopping the podcast, closing and clearing the app and then trying again. Sometimes it takes several tries for this to work to even let one play the live podcast again. It’s extremely frustrating and seems to be occurring with many users. Please fix this Spreaker!!! I have loved creating and listening to podcasts on Spreaker for a couple of years now. One feature that I've always wanted to see and hasn't been offered is push notifications to alert about new podcasts from the users that I follow. I often miss new shows that were recorded because I didn't know they were posted. This would also increase your listenership because users would be alerted of new content. Even an email notification, like you now offer for live podcasts, would be an improvement. In this day and age, just about every kind of app has some push notification feature. Please consider this for a future update..Version: 7.13
✓ Want too much information to listenIt is not a great app for free. The personal information they want for a podcatcher does not make me want to give them any money. There are better services out there with a more intuitive interface. If you pay for a service you had better have privacy straight out of the gate. ✓ DisappointedI been a loyal broadcaster on spreaker for almost ten years. Had a MixShow were I did a DJ mix. The performance off the service was great. Until recently they completely deleted my account because of terms of agreement because I played music that was not licensed. Never been a issue till now. Although they never offer a royalty fee pay in their payment options like mixcloud which would solve that problem. But now reviewing the terms on their page it seems that spreaker want to be like YouTube,Facebook and other platforms that want to put a leash on their paying customers. Terrible mistake on their behalf to ruin a once great podcast platform. But power to the consumer I’ll just take my business and money over to mixcloud..Version: 7.25.5
✓ Always CrashesThis app could be brilliant, except for the fact it ALWAYS crashes. I'm use it on my 4S to broadcast it crashes as soon as I try for more than 10 seconds. I try and listen to broadcasts it crashes. Using the phone version on the iPad to do the same, it crashes. My phone and iPad are both up to date and the app is up-to-date and it still crashes. They need to seriously fix this app and soon. I loved the idea of using my phone or iPad to broadcast and it's just completely useless. I will however stick with it and wait for the bugs to be worked out. If you're thinking of downloading it I'd highly advise against it since it just crashes if you try to do anything. It would also be great for an iPad version of the app but not in the current state..Version: 3.0
✓ SpreakerI can’t fibd a way to find things search does not locate the podcasts I have as my favorites. Can’t erase things. I use to have newsfeed on my settings and that would find things, but it disappeared. I am a senior and find this not user friendly. I only have a couple of people I follow and can’t find there las test updates and it doesn’t download them. The delete or erase function is not to be found.Version: 7.24.1
✓ The good and the badSpreaker as a community of podcasts is sensational - especially with groups of shows such as the amazing "Hail Hail Media". It's a fantastic toolset (on a desktop computer) and a brilliant community for people wanting to create and enjoy podcasts. As an app however, it's got a lot of catching up to do. The regular crashing has been improved a lot with recent updates, but the streaming remains a terrible problem... Where apps like Stitcher are fantastic for quickly buffering down and streaming an audio broadcast, Spreaker seems to do it on the fly in very small chunks. Therefore you spend half your time pressing "ok" at breaks in the broadcast when your phone maybe loses its network signal for a few seconds, and then having to press play again to wind it back up. The creators should download and test an app like stitcher to see how they can improve Spreaker. Because of the caching, buffering, streaming, or whatever trick it is....I can listen to audio on stitcher on the train, go through tunnels, lose and find phone signals again and again....and never have my audio interrupted. Whereas the same journey with Spreaker will see me frustratingly having to clear error messages and restart the audio well over a dozen times. Infuriating! Spreaker - an incredible community of fantastic quality broadcasts (especially Hail Hail Media)...but woefully let down by its iPhone app..Version: 3.1
✓ Walled garden, not for people who love podcastsI was surprised to find that I couldn’t add feeds to the Spreaker app. I emailed support, who didn’t understand what I was asking. Most of the shows I listen to are inexplicably missing from what I’m calling the Spreakersphere (you can’t scrape iTunes like every other podcast app?) so I went back to Overcast. Walled gardens are so very AOL. I enjoy podcasts, so this podcast app is not for me..Version: 7.16.10
✓ It WILL be good...The current version is still very buggy, I try to broadcast for longer than about 10 secs and it crashes, sometimes it freezes altogether. These bugs should be sorted out in the next update though, for which I am very much looking forward to as then I can actually use the app to its full potential. Thanks.Version: 3.0
✓ Cannot search for content creatorsI use this app for lectures and inspirational/motivational content that content creators put on their profiles to share. This app is barely worth the trouble to use. 1) The search function on this app does not allow you to find content creators. Rather, it gives you episodes that match your query. Not ideal for the way I look for stuff to listen to, so I can’t find the people I’m looking for. 2) Creators you happen to find and follow are hidden in your profile, so you have to dig around before you get to your creator’s library. Not intuitive or easy to navigate at all. Maybe they’ll figure it out and fix this mess soon..Version: 7.16.7
✓ Can't hear voice when creating showIt promises much, but at a basic level if DJing/ creating your podcast you really should be able to listen to your voice as you record - and for that reason I will have to delete app as not something I will use while this function is not possible.Version: 6.3
✓ Listening in orderThis is a great app I support it 100% my only problem with The app is the listening in order it goes backwards instead of forward just need tat to be corrected and or implement the feature to listen in whatever order the user (the listener) chose to do so there should be an option and it should also automatically go forward instead of backwards. Fix that issue and I will give this the 5 star it truly deserve..Version: 7.17.4

✓ 1 star, 3 stars and back to 1The message feed is intermittent on the best days, but even that's not as bad as the audio cutting out whenever it's the least convenient. It doesn't matter if I'm using a cellular data or WiFi. Running the chat and audio uses much more data than any similar apps I've used, even when it's not playing content and the chat function is dead. It's almost as if Spreaker worshipping Satan (aka AT&T) in an effort to steal our data driven souls. 😂 Please FIX this app Spreaker people so you're not the worst podcast aggregator on the planet & I can put some stars back on this review. Update Feb 8,2019 Listening to live broadcasts still very poor with delayed content but the chat is working better. Up to 2 stars. I don't like leaving negative reviews but C'MON GUYS!.Version: 7.16.9

✓ Crushing disappointmentSpreaker offers many great features, but support is simply non-existent. This greatly reduces the value of membership, and wastes months of time which should be spent using and enjoying your membership as a Spreaker podcaster, to say nothing of the rest of your life. Just bad, and got worse as I was encouraged to increase the price of monthly membership to get some basic answers to important questions. All the fun of having teeth pulled combined with the excitement of talking to a wall. Very, very disappointed. I spent months digging in deeper, buying higher tier subscriptions, in the hopes of getting a little support. Despite it's many great features, I can't recommend Spreaker..Version: 7.16.9

✓ Not starting well.I just downloaded it, so I don’t know what I’m doing yet. But I went straight for my favorite show, made sure most recents were selected. They’re on the air everyday. Their podcast is on other apps. So why can’t this app find any episodes more recent than 2014? Also, it’s a counter intuitive app for my age, tek level. If I don’t get more out of it soon, I’m changing my rating to 1 star and deleting this infuriating crap..Version: 7.9
✓ AdequateI previously left a rant about being forced to listen to live podcasts from the beginning. This isn't true: you get the podcaster's intro, then cut to the live 'cast. That could be made clearer, and a fast-forward button provided to skip the intro. Aah, well..Version: 6.7.1

✓ Spreaker Home of Fade 2 BlackLove this app 100 % reliable , the home of Jimmy Church Radio’s Fade to Black. It couldn’t get any better. So come by and video the home of “SMAAART PEOPLE” Ease of use is fantastic, miss a comment tap 30 second rewind. Clear audio, no ads. I recommend this app not only because it’s technically the best available but the shows are best cross-section anywhere! Love it, Give a try you will be amazed!.Version: 7.16.9

✓ Keeps crashing, please fixI use the Spreaker app everyday, and since the latest update I have lost the ability to do so. If I completely delete the app and reinstall it will work for a period, but then it continues to crash every time I launch it. This has only started happening since the latest update. Hopefully the 1-star rating will grab someone's attention and they will address this issue..Version: 6.5.3
✓ App Stability Is Problematic... FrustratingOn a frequent basis, the App ends one episode and abruptly and jumps to the next... This happens at ad-hoc intervals and multiple times daily. I'm then required to go back to earlier episode and guess where I was up to...? Very frustrating! This issue has existed for a long while now despite multiple version updates, and perhaps the developer is unaware? I'm running up-to-date versions of IOS on my iPhones and iPads, this issue exists through out. If and when this is resolved, this may be a 4 or 5 star app..Version: 7.8
