✓ Jc667Generally good, but players fail to get rid of high cards and husband their little (exit) cards. The two step select and play and select and pass is good for those of us with shaky hands. The stats needed are total points of all players for a session and point differential, since single game winners can be affected by the deal and the other players' bad play. A "last trick" button would greatly help those of us easily distracted, and auto-finish or at least accelerated play once all points have been played would help. I have shot the moon several times when I should have been stopped but your players sluffed their high hearts. Similarly, it is sometimes better strategy (point differentially) to let a player shoot the moon than get 13 or more yourself. Your players will take a trick with the queen while still having an ace or king of spades, and they sometimes fail to win a trick with the ace or king in fourth position when it would improve their hand..Version: 1.25

Also, provide an option not to see how many points each player gets during a hand (since one rarely has that option when playing with a deck of cards -- makes it more real). After numerous games on this game I now have a much better understanding of how things work. Which cards to discard and when. That's all I wanted was a fighting chance. I enjoy a challenge so I play it on "hard," and I find the game enjoyable. I play frequently. However I have yet to shoot the moon. I agree with other reviews that the player icons are a bit cartoon-y. I would like to see them like those in the older Hoyle games in which they speak, are animated, and I can select from a choice of players. It appears that some reviews do not even apply to this game. Worth the $$ to drop the ads - finger brushed on ad too often, so pain in the a#*+, besides, developer do a great job! Update May 4 2012 v1.15 - still spend too much time in it! Wish it showed the clock so I'd notice. REALLY, REALLY wish it would realize when: 1) I can't win any more tricks, so lay my hand down and let the bots fight it out 2) All 26 points are taken - so that's the END of this hand! 3) I CAN TAKE ALL REMAINING POINT CARDS and get CONTROL (26 points) - so lay down my hand. Assumption is that I WOULD LEAD INTELLIGENTLY, grab all the points, then I don't care. 4) I CANNOT LOSE THE LEAD - so lay down my cards and take the rest of the tricks Common theme with all the above is that it is WAY boring chasing cards, if it is CLEAR that the current hand is effectively over. That player then scores zero whilst the other 3 ALL score 26. This is part of the gameplay: if you've got a hand that is top heavy with picture cards & trumps, then instead of trying not to pick up tricks, you play to try to pick up the entire set, which is then scored as I've described..Version: 1.40
