PhotoSync – transfer photos for Positive User Reviews

Great but metadata support seems ehHave been looking endlessly for somehow to get Photos captions to backup. iCloud to windows devices doesn’t work. This app seemed to be the cure but alas, the photos caption which should be included in the IPTC data doesn’t appear to be transferring. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but that makes this a 3 star experience for me personally. Edit: considering this problem outlined above is a limitation on Apple’s side, definitely a 5 star app for what it does do!.Version: 4.6.8

Great appSeems to be easiest way to upload photos from my iPad to Fb so far..Version: 1.7.2

ICloud Photo BackupI have all my photos on iCloud but I have a large library of photos so I have to use the “Optimize Storage” option which means I have zero local copies of all my photos, they only exist in the iCloud. PhotoSync let’s me backup all my photos easily, quickly, and incrementally to my NAS (but it also works for many other types of storage online and offline) without having to jump through hoops. I just have it set up in my iPad (or you can do iPhone) to automatically download all new full resolution photos, and then transfer them to my NAS. Worth the low annual premium cost for this peace of mind!.Version: 4.5.2

Set and forget and send.Still the champ. Taking pix in and around the house for inventory. Sends them to a changeable folder location on the Mac. It moves full Rez jpgs swiftly. Works all over the place. iOS to MacOS and reverse. If iOS devices are plugged in, often easier to use Mac resident app, Image Capture. It moves pix to the computer but , this app permits a great back and forth communication. Top of the heap, as far as I can see..Version: 3.2.2

Such a great app.I’ve been using this app for a while now, it has a huge amount of flexibility and uploads to cloud services PCs and Macs. A couple of times I’ve needed help with the app so contacted support and had an amazing response time from then. As a keen amateur photographer I can’t recommend this app enough. It’s the only app you will need to transfer your photographs to different platforms..Version: 3.2.3

BrilliantThis is a fantastic time saving app. It's worked flawlessly since l first got it. Easy to use, quick response, reliable. I can’t imagine life without it.Version: 4.0.1

EXCELLENT!!The only, the perfect, and the best way to transfer photos from n to pc. Most useful app iv downloaded. Would give it 10 starz!.Version: 1.5

Just worksBetter than Airdrop.Version: 3.2.3

The most useful photography appI bought an iPad Pro and swapped my entire workflow over to it, basically because this app exists and works flawlessly. Being able to utilise the iOS Photo Roll as your main library allows great cross compatibility with other tools, like Darkroom, and the variety of import/export options are impressive and work well..Version: 4.5.2

Excellent facilities and supportAs a long-time user on iPhones and iPads I thoroughly recommend PhotoSync for it’s wide range of configuration and transfer target options. Once set up, it is very straightforward to use and has proved to be extremely reliable. The free PhotoSync companion app, for Mac in my case, completes the package - especially with the fast and helpful support in setting up transfers to different target folders from different devices..Version: 3.2.7

MrBest app when you don't have a cable handy.Version: 3.2.7

Ignore Moron who states it won’t do what it claims. This app has more features than any other similar app, that I am aware of. Someone gave it a poor review; because it wouldn’t auto transfer to a USB device, connected to his router. He thinks that should be considered a NAS, and thus, the app should sync to it. (If it doesn’t have an IP address, then it isn’t a NAS!). The only complaint that I could possibly have is that it’s level of customization is so extensive, you could get lost in what you are doing. I don’t have any problems; but I have a degree in Computer Science. Less technical users might have problems. I would recommend that some future version integrate a toggle between basic settings and access to more advanced settings. I love the app and use it on a daily basis. Well worth the price..Version: 3.2.7

Most useful app I've ever usedI usually don't review apps but this one has been great. I use it to sync photos to my symbology NAS. Works great.Version: 3.0.1

Does exactly what it says it does.Simply, it's this: 'does exactly what it says on the tin' and is easy to use. Well made, simple interface, well featured for advanced users. Great app, team. Hugs..Version: 2.2.4

Excellent recommend to allEasy to use. Love the reduction of size. The best. Thanks.Version: 4.4.1

ExcellentI use this app to transfer pics from my phone to my media center and up to Flickr. It's been brilliant. Highly recommended..Version: 1.7.2

Great appUPDATE March 2018 — Keeps totally crashing my phone after uploading about 3 photos? Is there something I can do about this? ——— Excellent app for transferring pictures to cloud services. I like to move things by album, and this works like a dream. Also, when I had an problem I emailed the customer support and they replied straight away and fixed the problem. Great service..Version: 3.2.3

Wow, so easy, fast and efficient!I am very impressed with this App..Version: 4.4.1

Easy asSince I downloaded the Photsync app I have had no problem with transferring photos from my phone (iPhone) to either my computer or my Samsung tablet..Version: 4.0.1

Very pleasedAs someone who prefers not to rely on cloud storage providers to manage my photos (ex-pro photographer, old habits die hard), I’ve really struggled to find a way to manage, back-up and organise my photos on my preferred mobile iOS and my PC/server. The discovery of this application has been a game changer! I’ve been able to easily sync from my phone to any device I’ve needed to, I’ve been able to sync from my PC to my iPad a decades worth of photos and have the app auto-create all of the albums I spent days organising way-back-when and I can now back-up my phone to an external drive when away from my desktop. Honestly, this app has me questioning whether or not I need a desktop anymore....Version: 4.1.1

Zoom function would be goodTool works fine between two mobiles, but not that good with PC/mobile, would be good to zoom in the pictures.Version: 4.4.2

The best of manyI am amazed with the number of features, reliability, flexibility of the app and also great and fast support from the team! This is exemplary well-made software!.Version: 4.6.5

Best of TypeI have been using PhotoSync for years now and it gets better all the time. Amazing number of connection types. Support when I needed it in the past was excellent. When reinstalling on a new iPad from an iTunes backup it needs to have the connections deleted and re-installed for them to work but this is a minor hassle for such an awesome tool, which I can use anywhere on the planet back to my personal servers and more..Version: 3.2

Brilliant appDoes exactly what I need, that is moving files between my iPad/iPhone and my PC. very easy to use, undoubtably one of my most useful apps..Version: 1.5

Ends the I cloud back up back upAfter trying to get the iCloud app to make friends with my Windows PC, in order to empty pictures out of the cloud, I downloaded this app. After you download, then the app has you go to a website, and you download a companion app for your PC. I had trouble the first try, getting it to find my IP address, and found I needed to go back to the first app Ion my phone, and do a couple of set up steps you see when you open the phone app. Then it worked.... all 400 pics, even the big ones moved into my Windows photos still in date order! Went hiking yesterday, did it again this morning, turn on computer, find the app 3 button pushes and they are in your computer before the coffee is done. Thanks developers!.Version: 3.2.7

Loved it since the first transferI love that you can sync cross platform. Easy as a breeze..Version: 4.0.1

Great app and great developersThis app is very customizable and has allowed me to backup photos on my family’s devices. I really appreciate that the developers are quick to respond to questions and suggestions. The only feature that could make this app better would be the ability to receive photos from a destination and mark them as synced within the app. This would enable full two way syncing capabilities..Version: 4.6.5

Always reliable when others failsI use this app all the time and it never fails to transfer even large 4K video files. I whole heartily recommend this app..Version: 4.5.2

Fits all your needsI don’t review many things but felt to write this one. This is the app you need once you setup home NAS and want to free up space on your iPhone by backing up old photos/videos. Better than google photos as original quality is maintained. I love the auto backup option, photos get backed up each day once logged into home WiFi. Faced some problems with SMB1 configuration but the developer was super quick to provide beta update to solve it, highly recommended..Version: 3.2.7

Great and simpleI don't write this very often, but this product is FANTASTIC! Dead simple to use, reliable. Thanx for great effort ....Version: 2.0.2

So Practical!!Don't normally write reviews unless an app is high quality enough to deserve it. And this one totally does, if you use your phone as a camera for work pics you need Photosync!!!.Version: 2.2.4

Photo syncEasy to use.Version: 3.2.7

Just brilliant.Easily transmit photos, videos and pictures between phone, tablet and PC. Just brilliant..Version: 4.6.1

Exactly what I was looking forTransferring both raw and jpg files from iPad to PC seems a challenge for other apps. This app manages it quickly without fuss..Version: 3.2.7

The Best Thing since Sliced BreadAs a photographer this software works flawlessly in transferring photos from phone to laptop and vice versa.Version: 4.5.2

LifesaverThis is an excellent little app - does what it says. I was looking for a way of rescuing photos from Flickr which starts charging for its storage shortly. Flickr itself does not make it easy to download your photos on bulk - you have to manually select (same as with iCloud). Since I had almost 4000 photos there, it would have been a nightmare. I left this app trundling away on its own for an afternoon as it downloaded them. Then uploaded them all to my NAS as a backup. Solid as a rock. Paid for itself on day 1. I don't often recommend apps. This is one of the exceptions..Version: 3.2.7

Very reliableThis is one of those gold star apps that’s been around for years and years, always reliable, never gets in your way, never adds any annoying new features or turns to subscription model or releases new paid upgrades… it’s just one purchase and then works reliably for years and years doing exactly what it promises to do and no more and no less. Fully fully strongly recommended!.Version: 4.7.1

Great App!I have used Photosync for years and every release it gets better. The Pros for me are the ability to organise the backup of my photos and videos to a central place (in my case Microsoft's OneDrive) and also backup the photos that have already been edited on the iOS device. Currently iCloud and even the OneDrive app backup the original photo not the edited version. Photosync sorts this with a simple configuration switch. Yes! I also like the press and hold feature to select the default backup method automatically. It is now easy for the entire family to know their photos and videos are stored safely in the cloud. Thanks to the team behind Photosync..Version: 2.2

Stop asking me to review pleaseStop asking me to review please.Version: 4.4.1

App is great, Support is better. How nice is it to have an app that is supported by a company that is fast to reply and resolve issues? I had a license issue after an upgrade and within an hour, which included some back and forth with emails, it was fixed. Great work..Version: 4.0

FTP TransferI use this app to transfer photos from my phone to my network external hard drive. It’s is far quicker than any other apps I have used. FTP seems to be the quickest way..Version: 3.2.3

Perfect photo transfer appThis is the perfect app for me to transfer images from my phone to my MBP. Linked with the Hazel app (not App Store) it saves me hours of time over a year messing around with cables and Lightroom. Brilliant concept, well executed..Version: 3.2.2

Fantastic AppI have done a lot of research and found this app to exceed the requirements and expectations both. Perfect app. Can’t appreciate enough..Version: 4.4.2

Great App.I transfer all my photos from my iPhone 5 to my iMac using PhotoSync. Great App..Version: 1.7.3

From a technical user, this app saved the day!I usually am not up for spending money on apps but when my phone was full of photos and I didn’t have an easy way to get them off in mass this one really saved the day. I successfully transferred about 12,0000 photos in less than two hours with no glitches. I really appreciate the options for auto generating directories and file names, very professional..Version: 4.4.2

Screen size of app changedI love this app, but since recent updates the screen layout has changed to accommodate, I assume, a longer screen. This is frustrating as I cannot select any photos from the camera roll as it's hidden at the top of the screen. Dragging the page down will let you briefly see the album, but you cannot select it. When you try, the page jumps back up. Very frustrating and disappointing. Hope they fix this issue as otherwise a great app. For info, I have an iPhone 6S. Update: Thanks to the Developer for their prompt response. I've installed the beta version and it's fixed the issue..Version: 3.2.3

Works perfectly!Effortless to use! I use it frequently to backup iPhone photos to my computer..Version: 3.2.3

Does the job well. Excellent appI have used this app for a long time and yes it has had some bugs but they always seem to be sorted out and I assume with new versions of iOS then there would have to be updates to make it compatible. I have read the previous reviews and agree that it is a great app. I have tried it using Google Drive, Microsoft One Drive etc and it works. I've given it 5 stars on those grounds. I have recommended it to others who have reported being very happy with easy and performance..Version: 3.1

Very usefulThis is an incredibly useful app for transferring images between devices..Version: 3.2.7

ExcellentBrilliant app. I tried for months to get Dropbox to acknowledge their app's inability to upload photos taken with filters. This app does it first time perfectly. The ability to custom rename uploaded files is a bonus. Highly recommended..Version: 3.1

Essential App (iOS 16 has introduced an issue)Fantastic app, everyone in family has it & uses it almost every day to swap photos & videos between Apple & non Apple devices. NOTE: after iOS 16 update a bug appeared where folders created on my PC during transfer did not include my iPhone device name, instead just said iPhone! I contacted developer via on app support & received answer within hours. Apple have now restricted device name usage in apps due to privacy. Dev outlined alternative solution (below) which works perfectly. Great support. As a workaround you can define a custom subdirectory format: To do that open the PhotoSync settings, tap „Configure“ and then „Computer“. Now tap „Create Subdirectories“ and then scroll to the bottom and tap „Add custom format“. Now enter <device name>/%AP as value (without <> characters). Then go back and select/activate the custom format at the very bottom..Version: 4.7

Must have app for photo offloading from iOS to pcTop app I got for my wife and loved it so much I got it for myself also, very easy to use to download photos from phone with two button presses to free up space..Version: 3.1

Excellent!Very useful utility! I use it all the time to transfer pictures and video between iOS and windows 7 and 10. It just works. Regular updates, highly recommended!.Version: 4.2

Great app and fantastic developer! This app has allowed me to finally achieve a goal of mine: uploading photos to a personally-owned server without relying on any cloud service. It’s incredibly configurable, which is great to help decide how your photos appear once uploaded. On top of the awesome features of the app, the developer is quick to respond to feedback and is more than willing to help debug problems! I had a configuration problem as well as an issue where photos were not appearing. I quickly got responses to my inquiries and had an email exchange to resolve my problems. To be clear, neither problem was with the app, but in my assumptions of the behavior of my given configuration. If you want photo uploads without using a cloud provider, or if you want to upload to many places, this app is an absolute must-buy!.Version: 3.2.7

Does exactly what is says!I have this app on my iPhone, ipad and two computers and it is generally excellent. I would recommend that people using Photoshop etc remember to make sure the images they send are sRGB otherwise the colours won't look right when on the ipad. I transfer daily with this and have no problems recommending it..Version: 1.7.2

A brilliant appIPads and iPhones are great, with one big caveat, iTunes. It makes transferring photos and videos a faff. PhotoSync makes it all SO easy and quick. A very worthwhile investment.Version: 3.2.7

Sync photos with every service imaginableUsed for 2 years. Best I have found..Version: 4.6.8

The only way to do photo transferI struggled for so long trying to copy photos to windows using usb and constantly had into disconnection issues. This app makes it so easy to copy photos both to the computer and back to my iPhone. This app is an absolute must-have, completely worth the purchase..Version: 4.7.1

It works! This is the only app that was able to transfer my entire photo collection, with over 70,000 images and videos, to my MacBook!.Version: 4.7.1

Great SoftwareI've been using this app since early 2012 and it has worked well. Updates have been regular and support queries have been answered. My only noteable issue has been the need to restart it often in Windows 7 but that seems resolved now..Version: 2.0.2

Simply the best and most reliable way to backup your photos and videosSetup a WebDAV auto backup of my photos and videos back to my NAS. It’s run flawlessly for close to two years now. I was looking for a reasonable way to have a current backup of my most important data and this app fit the bill perfectly. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a persistent backup of their media outside of cloud services..Version: 4.6.1

This app shouldn’t need to exist but it does and it’s spectacularApple could have made this job really easy by enumerating a phone as a mass storage device, plug in via USB and drag-drop or run a shell script to sync your photos. Nope. It’s not the “Apple way” and if you’re running Linux you can forget running iTunes. Photo sync bridges the gap admirably. It’s slower than USB (ok on 5.8GHz wifi) but works so easily that makes up for it. Works with SMB servers. Generates a custom folder layout on the target so your photos stay properly sorted. Brilliant job..Version: 3.2.7

Over the moonHighly highly recommend this app. I’ve downloaded so many wireless transfer apps but they were all useless. They expected you to pay or they would simply just crash. This one however has saved my life. Completely free, simple to use and excellent transfer. I had thousands of photos to transfer and there was not an error once. Download it now!.Version: 4.4.2

Apple could learn from this companyI searched for days to find a way to transfer original file sizes after manipulating them on Snapseed. Every time I exported the files using Apples own Photo camera roll/album library the file size would be reduced greatly. For example an original 5mb file would be down sized to 200kb after pushing the images via Apples own Photos library. Then I stumbled across Photosync. I emailed the good people at Photosync directly and told them my problem and asked would their app help solve my problem Within 15 minutes I had a reply. They didn't promise it would fix it but said that if it didn't they would refund my money. Turns out it was the best $2 I have ever spent. I could do everything via Photosync. I didn't have to open up Apples poor excuse for a high tech library anymore. So after manipulating them in Snapseed I simply synced the files to my Mac home computer Via Photosync and I ended up with full resolution files sitting on my Mac home computer that had been manipulated in Snapseed. Throughout my process I emailed Hendrik from Photosync and each time he replied. Within 15 minutes. Now that is what I call service. Thank you to everyone at Photosync involved in creating a fantastic application. I can now add the iPad as part of a serious work flow in my photography business. Cheers, Ben.Version: 1.2

Great app, works just as it shouldGreat functionality.Version: 3.1

So easyAs a body that’s not computer tech minded I found this app so easy. I got to say it’s one of the best apps I’ve ever got.Version: 4.6.8

FantasticSo fantastic I couldn’t live out this app it’s true it must be on the most needed used and wanted like its up there with the best apps I think get it try it you will see and experience why .Cant explain something fully to they have try it and tp try it out only gives you the best experiences.Version: 3.2.7

Superior to any built-in functionAfter an update to IOS 16.0.2, I lost the ability to transfer photos to my computer. This app seemed okay, so I gave it a shot. Frigg’n amazing! Now my work phone, personal phone, wife’s phone, kids, etc. all sync to the computer. Automatically, wirelessly, in the middle of the night while they are charging. (That’s an optional setting, not the default). I wake up to a clean iPhone ready to take all the pictures I want. Now if a phone drowns or explodes, at most I will loose that day’s pictures..Version: 4.7.1

Superb! One of the most useful apps I've ever found! No need to fiddle with iTunes or any other application. Just tap tap tap and the photos are transferred..Version: 3.2

Does what it says on the tinBest app I've found for transferring photos and videos, works seamlessly. Wouldn't be with out it. Have put it on the grandparents phones so they get the latest grandson action.Version: 1.7.2

Does just the trickDoes what it says... A weee bit glitchy but overall it's not a deal breaker. So helpful. Does what apple should have built in..Version: 1.5

The best way to back things up (and restore them)We’ve been backing up our pictures and movies with this for years. It works incredibly well and has many features you would not expect - HEIC -> JPG, auto transfer with custom naming, geofenced backups, it’s got it all. We use FTP because we only backup from home but so great it has SFTP too!.Version: 4.4.1

Just works!Great product. Does what it says..Version: 1.7.2

Excellent appI’ve been using this app for years to automatically backup my photos to my home WebDAV server for safe keeping. The developer is incredibly responsive. I’ve had a few questions over the years and he responds within minutes. Unheard of in a world of non-existent customer service. Keep up the great work. My only gripes are actually iOS shortcomings; that you can’t schedule auto backups and there’s a time limit on background transfers. Both of these are because Apple places limits on what apps can do in the background..Version: 4.0

Photo-syncI like things simple. I've tried a few iPad apps - this is the best.Version: 1.7.2

Beautiful app.. Love it. I always use thisOne day I was so frustrated to copy some videos to my camera roll. I tried uploading to google drive and then trying to save it but never worked. Then I googled and found this amazing app. With this, life has become hell easy to transfer photos or videos between computers and phone. Thank u so much for the people who developed this. U saved my time in life!!.Version: 4.0.1

Perfect app for backing up photosDon’t pay for iCloud storage. Get this app and use your own hard drive or computer on your home network. No cables needed. Thanks to the developers.Version: 4.2

Easy asJust purchased and used it. It is just so easy to transfer files and keeps all the meta data true and correct.Version: 3.2.3

FantasticSuch a brilliant app, does the job exceptionally well. Well done!.Version: 1.4.1

PhotoSync userThis is a great app that automatically copies all my photos and videos to my nas. It just works as it should with no issues. Great app and well worth the small fee for the nas addition..Version: 3.2.7

Bar none, the best photo transfer App aliveHave had this app for ages, and my appreciation of it grows year after year. The flexibility of what this app does for you is amazing and down to earth made simple.Version: 4.4.1

5 starsVery convienient with transferring photos between all apple devices..Version: 1.1

PhotoSyncBest app ever. Using it every day between my apple devices 😁.Version: 4.5.2

Fantastic Software, Very Responsive DeveloperI absolutely LOVE this photo transfer app! I literally downloaded a dozen others as well and compared each one - this was a clear winner by a long shot. Fast, reliable, transfers in full resolution, works perfectly every single time. The desktop companion app is solid as well, makes for a perfect software combination. Lastly, it’s clear the developer really cares about his software. He is incredibly quick to reply and gives thoughtful responses. I love supporting folks who take pride in their products and will spend the money to buy the lifetime premium (despite not needing the features) simply to support a fantastic developer! Kudos for a job well done on this wonderful piece of software!!.Version: 4.0.1

One of the best apps I ownThis a a truely excellent utility. The developer has clearly run up against some of iOS’ limitations and set about building a flexible and highly configurable tool. 5+.Version: 3.2.3

Great!Does a much better job with Dropbox sync than the dropbox app so is a must for db users if only to upload non camera roll items. Would like to be able to choose to transfer only jpg files when raw+jpg have been imported. Also when resyncing it sometimes resends those it sent the last time. Overall though, a slick and helpful app. If you uses camera connection kit, get t!.Version: 1.6

Omg - so neededThis is one of my favorite apps. As a photographer I’ve been trying to get years of original photo files out of my iCloud account for as long as I can remember. Apple provides no good way to do it. This app is amazing and there are so many copy targets, including SMB and AWS S3. And not only is it functional, but the GUI was well thought out as well. Kudos to the developers..Version: 4.4.2

Great app easy to useDoes what it says. Good for between devices, as a quick way to share photos. Love it..Version: 3.2.3

This is quite possibly best app everThis app is so powerful and helpful for getting all my thousands of kid photos off my phone and onto my NAS (Synology Diskstation). Whenever my phone or my wife’s phone is running low, hit the sync button and we’re back in business. I also have my nas backing up to backblaze for a few bucks a month, just in case..Version: 3.2.7

The best sync apoIt supports live photos and most custom backends. The price is maybe a bit steep for the top tier but it's worth it and it works really well..Version: 4.6.1

PhotoSync...great app!Have been looking for a working solution to storing my photos from my phone to Windows 10. Who knew that this would not be an easy task to perform. While Windows 10 does cater for connecting your phone and copying photos and videos, it does not do so without chucking out errors...constantly. Anyway, looked for solutions and since I only intended to copy photos and videos to my PC and then into a NAS, I came across this app which would allow me to sync them straight into my Synology NAS. Also needed something the rest of my family could use too, and since we can share this app through Family Sharing, it ticked all the boxes functionally for everyone. Very easy to use and documentation from Synology helped the sync process to the NAS be setup very quickly. We now don’t worry about making sure our memories are safe as a simple press of the sync icon is pretty much all it takes. Is this app for everyone? I have no idea, all I know is that it worked perfectly for myself and my family and if that helps you make a decision on using it then I’m glad it helped. There are other sync options like FTP, Dropbox and several more so have a look at its features and see if it meets your needs..Version: 3.2.7

The best there isSuper super app for the archivist amongst us, who prefer their own server backup system instead of putting our faith in a public cloud provider..Version: 4.5.2

Best ever PhotoSync software I’ve foundI’ve been using PhoyoSync to clear up the space in phone by backing up the photos to my home server since a few years now. It’s the tipping point which felt I must write a review by the recent great support experience I had with their staff. PhotoSync helps our albums to be sorted allowing re-visits to the past memories with least effort. The file naming capabilities, a variety of connectivity to local and remote storages backed up by a steady software has helped the whole experience smooth and friendly. If you are one of those who loves keeping photos and videos well organised and backed up, you’re in the same requirement set as me and I could highly recommend PhotoSync as a great tooling for that..Version: 4.4.2

Amazing AppHave the app on both my phone and my wife’s phone to backup photos to my NAS box. Works great..Version: 4.7.1

Camera upload feature is excellent! What a sleeper app! This tool is loaded with features. Was shocked by the set of endpoints you can target. Very well done. Lots of options. Works great pushing photos to a Linux server with its camera upload feature. Professional feel of the app. Transfer experience is fast over sftp. It knows what media it needs to sync but you can also choose the media to sync and also choose to delete the media on the iOS device after it’s transferred. Barely scratched the surface on what this tool can fully do. Kudos to the dev team!.Version: 4.4.1

EffortlessTransfer between iPhone & iPad is effortless - Great. However, if you want to send your photos to a specific folder on your PC, don't bother with this App..Version: 3.0

Awesome AppHad massive issues importing photos from my iPhoneX to Lightroom 5 on my iMac. This is a widely recognized issue among users. It would literally take 2 hours to import 200 files. This app moves files wirelessly into Lightroom very efficiently-like when I was using my old iPhone 5! Very easy to configure too. The only minor issue is that you lose date/time metadata on videos. Lightroom will bucket the video on whatever day you imported and ignore capture date. However, the correct time/date info associated with the file is retained in Finder. So you can do some manual organization if you’d like. I think this issue is corrected in the current versions of Lightroom. Other than that, I love this application and highly recommend..Version: 4.0.1

ExcellentExactly what I was looking for to back up iPhones to my local server !!! Works effortlessly and reliably every time.Version: 3.1

Can’t recommend this app enoughSuch a comprehensive photo and video backup application. It is well worth the money. Just get this app and you will thank me later. It has great features to give you that peace of mind knowing your private intimate photos are backed up and not sitting in some google photos being combed for information..Version: 4.4.2

AwesomeBest app for transferring photo between PC, Mac and iOS devices..Version: 1.5

Excellent AppDoes what it claims! Perfect way to copy all or selected photos from iPhone to PC, iPhone to iPod/iPad, PC to iDevice etc.Version: 1.1

Just brilliantThis app does exactly what I've been wanting to do. Up until now I was backing up photos and videos on my phone to Onedrive then synching back to my laptop. I never liked the process but it was the best I could come up with to achieve what I wanted. Then I came across this app. It is nothing short of brilliant. The killer feature is the one-button-push to sync any new photos to a pre-configured destination..Version: 3.0.1

Useful but charged twiceI purchased PhotoSync pro lifetime once for $6.99 and it seemed to work reasonably well. I few weeks later I tried to use it again to transfer photos however in order to transfer photos at full resolution it said I will need to pay again. Why? In addition the 2nd purchase is for a subscription which I also do not want or need. It’s very misleading to first sell something as “pro lifetime” and then remove necessary features that force another purchase..Version: 4.1.1

Reliable and easy to useAlways works, from setup onwards. From any device to any, and Mac/Pc has been seamless.Version: 3.2.3

Does the jobThis app has quite a few features for it that would make it a great alternative to a service like Google Photos with their auto-backup feature and viewing photos from an external source. Would recommend it and test it to see if it works for you use case before purchasing a subscription..Version: 4.4.2

Superb valueJust does exactly what it says on the tin. All the interminable hassles and hours and hours of pain trying to persuade the PC and the phone to talk nicely ... gone. Photo sync *just works*. Photo from a message or a what's app? No problem. Weird idiosyncrasies of the iOS and Windows file systems and photo handling? Not a problem! But it is also *highly* configurable. Save photos in directories by year and month? Done! Separate Favourites folder? Easy. Fabulous app and Windows client - absolutely brilliant..Version: 4.7.1

Hopefully now working againLoved this out, then it suddenly stopped working for a month. Mysteriously started working again today. Hopefully it will stay working now. By far the easiest way to back up your photos from your phone..Version: 3.2.7

Brilliant for NASThis app is excellent for transferring photos from iPhone to NAS box.Version: 4.2

Photo syncThis great app makes photo sharing between my devices a breeze. Love it..Version: 1.7.3

The best app I own!Easily and efficiently copies our carefully curated albums off our i-devices and on to MY offline storage. The only solution I’ve found for extracting the album metadata we created from iOS/iPadOS. I use WebDAV, just 3 taps to copy an album. Couldn’t be happier!.Version: 4.7.1

Amazing App - never skips a beatThis was the only way I could find to back up the photo and video components from my phone onto my external hard drive (via my computer). This app is so easy to use and works every time. I have used it for years and it is great..Version: 4.3.2

Fantastic app and supportI was looking for a way to sync photos from my iPhone to my NAS. This does the job perfectly over FTP. It's highly configurable and flexible, allowing me to choose unsynced photos and a target folder destination. It can even create a sub folder for the year taken automatically (as well as many other folder and file naming formats). It can be automated further by syncing photos in the background, but I've not tried it as I'd like control over what is synced and to which destination. I emailed support with a question on a Saturday morning and was surprised to receive a reply immediately..Version: 3.2.2

Excellent appWorks really well. I especially like the one tap link option..Version: 1.7.2

Great appWorks wonderfully and exactly how it’s advertised. I uploaded over 10K of pictures to OneDrive with ease..Version: 4.1.1

One of the bestHave been using this very useful app since the first version. It’s so refreshing to use an app that has consistently worked well over several years and the number of updates required to keep pace with iOS updates. Well done to the developer..Version: 3.2.3

Jobs would like itThis got me out of a pickle when my computer died and I had a bunch of photos I needed for my students on my iPad and no easy way of getting them to my work computer. Two bucks and it just worked, had 130 photos on my wife's computer less than 10 minutes after clicking 'Buy'.Version: 1.6

This App Works Really Really WellI’m a software developer myself and I can tell you this app is extremely well designed and implemented. We are very fortunate that such an app exists at such a low cost. For many of the tasks you can do with this app, there are no alternatives or the alternatives cause too much headache. Thank you to the developers of this app. I hope you keep up this great work for many years to come!.Version: 4.2

Superb app, superb valueI use this, at the moment, only for getting photos edited on the iPhone onto my iMac - previously, edited photos would not import. The edited aspect was imported as a text file describing the edits. The only other option I could find after much research was to edit on the iMac following import - inconvenient and time consuming. This brilliant and superb value app solved my problem, and I know it can do all kinds of other things I’ve not yet tried out. Can’t recommend it enough..Version: 4.3.2

Works the way you want to use itIf you use an iPhone with a windows computer or otherwise don’t like to use cloud services, this app is for you. Importing photos with the provided utilities from Apple and Microsoft had given me nothing but errors, headaches and wasted time. This will let you use simple, standard protocols (FTP) that have existed since the beginning of time to sync your photos to your home PC or remote server without any nonsense. No proprietary databases, just regular old file transfer. Why in gods name I need to BUY an app to do this seemingly most basic of functions that should come stock is a face palming thought, but $5 is a « fair » price to make my expensive device do something any 1995 dell wouldn’t shrug at. Only caveat, I’m not sure if there’s a way to simultaneously backup to redundant servers simultaneously, if there is, the UI should be improved, if there isn’t, it would be a nice feature..Version: 4.4.2

Killer AppI’ve had this app for two days and it’s solved all of my backup needs. From iPhone to NAS and to Smugmug. The selection features, auto sync with triggers and folder and file options are are all great. Best of all. Everything works right away. I loaded the companion app on my PC and was syncing photos in 2 minutes. I sent all 5700 of my iPhone photos over to my NAS and can now delete most from my phone and then sort through my pics on my NAS. I wish all apps were so well designed and WORKED so well and so easily. This is a killer app for anyone who takes a lot of photos and cares about backup or too many photos on your phone. Highly recommend!.Version: 4.1.1

Best app!Was originally skeptics that it would transfer my photos and videos in full quality as described and so effortlessly as promised - but it does! Love how I can set it up on my Mac and have it transfer automatically every night so long as my laptop and phone are charging and on the same wifi. Saves me tonnes of money on iCloud storage as I can put them all on my Mac and back up to a HDD. Would recommend!.Version: 4.7.1

Not working anymoreI’ve used this app for years, with no issues. Now, for the past two or three months, it doesn’t want to work. Transferring from my pc to my phone, it says it can not find my phone. Same issue when transferring from my phone to pc. It is on the same network and the numbers all match. This happens when trying it manually too. Both my iOS and this app are up to date. So it’s unusable..Version: 3.2.3

This is what you have been looking forWe have our photo gallery in iCloud but what if you don’t pay, what if they lose your data? Imagining the loss of all those photos is difficult but what my wife would do to me after that is an exercise even harder than death. Having tested multiple solutions including applications developed by synology I tried this app and in one night I copied all our library (20k photos) to our NAS where then I can back up to wherever I want. The backup from the phone to a cloud storage is possible but it would take a lot more time to accomplish..Version: 4.7

Yes!We use this app daily between our staff phones and main computer. Incredibly fast and convenient between all our devices..Version: 3.2.7

Awesome !!Makes it so easy to get photos and video clips off my devices and into my PC. Despite the apps name, it doesn't 'sync', it just transfers the files, which is perfect. I can then manually control which files each device has and don't have to worry about deleting a file off one device and then having it automatically deleted off my other devices. I really like that it keeps track of which files haven't been transferred..Version: 1.7.2

Simple and EasyThis connects to my home server with no issues. The WiFi sync on location is a good option too. Take hold of your data! W PhotoSync.Version: 4.8.2

PhotoSyncSaved me getting gray hairs worked like magic wish I had come across this earlier I would have gone for the Premium version Thanks.Version: 4.7.1

So easy to use and so swiftUpdating my review of a year or so ago (below)... Still using this regularly for transfers between PCs, iMac, iPads and iPhones. Lovely interface. Reliable. Publisher supports the app actively. I recommend you waste no time looking at others - just get PhotoSync. Previously: This app is being used to transfer numerous photos between several PCs and my iPad2 daily. Fast and very efficient. A pleasure to use..Version: 2.2.4

Solves Clunky Photo Transfer for Good Title LoversI was an early adopter of this app, before the subscription model came in. I absolutely love it. I have tried it over a low bandwidth café connection and it was incredibly slow. Over Wifi it isn’t lightspeed, but still very usable. This app helps me solve the problem of my computer freaking out when I try to import 10,000 photos by tagging them in small sets. Photosync solves that problem efficiently by allowing file name to be album name and then import albums. If a person imports from an album and customises the import name, ta da! Properly named photos! I love that I can include the date and time taken and album name in the file name. Pure magic. It has the very occasional freak out, but most often these are due to the destination directory being full. On the rare occasion where it fails for another reason, it’s easy enough to restart. If this app had Bluetooth transfer I’d give it five stars. There are plenty of places where there is no Wifi and transferring over phone plan data is too slow and expensive. For Wifi connections, it is fantastic!.Version: 4.6.1

ExcellentVery handy and reliable way to transfer photos to cloud via various protocols. Only limited by upload speed of connection whether mobile or wifi. Works well on either but bandwidth makes big transfers somewhat impractical for big raw files. Nonetheless a great app for travelling and backup to cloud facilities (not just Apple or Dropbox either).Version: 1.7.3

PhotoSyncA great app which makes moving photos from iMac to iPad so easy. One of the best and most useful apps I have..Version: 1.7.2

Excellent essential appWith non-cloud transfers. But I'm not impressed with the way the last update went and cleared all my settings including turning on cellular transfer and now shows ALL my photos and videos as NEW. It was a mammoth task to sync them in the first place - I shouldn't have to do that all over again with each app update. Not working well with IOS 8.2 - auto transfer and Drag and Drop often can't see other devices. Not sure if that's an IOS problem but there hasn't been an app update for a fair while so there might be some points that need addressing..Version: 2.2.4

AmazingRarely write reviews but this app has been BRILLIANT. I’ve been looking for a straight forward, wireless way to upload photos from my phone to my computer and vice versa without using iCloud, manual methods or emailing myself and this has performed flawless. Simply set it up on your phone and desktop and then it’s as simple as clicking and dragging an image into a folder and it’s almost instantly where you need it..Version: 4.1

Works a treatMakes transferring photos from iPhone to PC nice and easy. Configurable, Settings to transfer all or just new images since last transfer. So much easier than Apple’s convoluted ways..Version: 3.2.7

So easy to use!Fabulous App! So easy to transfer photos and Albums from my mobile devices to my PC - VERY Happy Customer here 😊.Version: 3.2.7

Love this appThis app has been flawless for me. It’s my go to app for backing up my photos. It works very well. I’ve been using it for a few years now and I’ve never had an issue. I love that I can sync right to my cloud accounts automatically and everything can stay organized. The best feature is that it’ll back up the photos in their original format..Version: 4.7

Wow!!!Thanks, photosync is great and so user friendly. I really struggled transferring photos until I found your app. I love it..Version: 4.0.1

Finally, a photo sync app that worksI’ve tried a bunch. Synology, Plex and Nextcloud to name a few and they all have their shortcomings ranging from not actually uploading reliably in the background to missing files. PhotoSync is extremely customisable with regards to what is actually uploaded: originals, edited/ processed versions or both; file name customisation; directory structure and more. The upload service adaptors is the most exhaustive I’ve ever experience - I defy someone to find an app that can publish their photos to more platforms. The development team is very responsive. I had found a bug with WebDAV uploads of slow-mo videos. Within 24 hours of reporting the issue, it was fixed and I was sent a beta so I could carry on using the app prior to the release making it into the App Store. It’s definitely worth supporting developers like this..Version: 4.4.2

Super responsive supportI had some issues with the app not accessing the photos on my device. Wrote to them and received an instant response and a solution. Great job guys..Version: 4.5

Awesome, configurable and reliableGreat app that just works..Version: 4.5.2

Great AppLove this App… no longer using iCloud and using this App exclusively!.Version: 4.6.8

Indispensable.I love this app. Without having icloud automatically sync all my photos to all my devices which can often be a pain I simply choose what photos to transfer between devices (phone, iPad etc. .. Not just mine but other people's as well) including from and to computers. Singles or multiples. Dead easy, super fast and 100% reliable. Been using it for years. Perfectly designed for what it does so well. Gotta try it..Version: 2.2.4

Finally, a solution that works!I tried transferring manually (a headache because you always get dupes—if it even lets you do it), through iTunes (which would usually crash due to 11K pics, with other programs (none of them did what I wanted)...then, I found this and it is genius! It will only transfer new pics that I’ve taken. It transfers them to jpeg for me and is AMAZING! Love, love, love this program..Version: 4.2

Works better than I expected!Flickr’s app only seems to upload as “private” and I wanted to upload as “family”. I had a different app to do this but it stopped working after some iOS 11 changes. I took a chance that this app would do what I wanted, and it did! I generally use it with a geofence indicator to upload when I get home, but I also use the button function to upload when I am at home or work. I only use it for Flickr, but I am considering using it for other services, too. I recommend this app..Version: 3.2.3

So glad I bought thisThis is an amazing app. I use it to move, copy, organise, my photos, videos and PDFs, between all my storage devices. This program copies my photos from my phone to my iPad, or computer, or another phone in the blink of an eye. I love it, it is fantastic. Thank you for designing, creating and building this app..Version: 3.2

By far the BESTDon’t try another app to transfer your photos and videos to your PC..Version: 4.6.1

So UsefulThis is a really useful App if you want to make sure you don’t loose those valuable photos on your phone. So simple to download them onto your computer. Equally easy to upload those special photos for screen savers. Love it !!!.Version: 3.2.3

Best app for transfersExcellent app if you have wifi available..Version: 3.2

It just worksThis app does exactly what it says and reliably so..Version: 2.0.2

One of the most used appThis tool is amazing for quickly transferring media files between devices. No more USB stick! Thank you!.Version: 4.7.1

Time/Lifesaver! Autotransfer tip hereThanks so much - excellent support response and a really useful, fully featured app which a) saves me space on my phone without fear of accidentally deleting prized photos and b) saves me the aggravation of having to manually sort my files into date folders on my NAS. If you are struggling to get autotransfer to trigger, move the location pin further inside your target destination WiFi range - this may solve - worked for me. Top app!.Version: 3.2.7

Does one thing wellThis app is the only reason why I don’t need to spend a pile of money on an iCloud subscription for backing up my photos. Sync options are endless (I didn’t even know about webdav before) so however you want to do it, it’s supported. My only wish is that it would make the most common usage scenarios, like “just backup my photos”, easier to discover and simpler to use. All the options you could possibly want are there, but it sometimes takes a while to dig through them to find exactly what you want..Version: 4.3.2

Great App. Highly recommend.I’ve had this app for a while now and still love it! Since my Eye-Fi app that I used for years quit working, I needed a way to wirelessly back up my pictures and automatically create folders in very specific folders. This app does it and better than Eye-fi. I had a couple of questions and developer always emailed back with lots of helpful information..Version: 3.2.5

SMB transfer from iphoneXRSuccessfully transferred to WD Passport Wireless Pro using SMB transfer. Great.Version: 3.2.7

Works as advertisedA very helpful app that nearly always works as it should & very easy to use. Only the occasional glitch in transferring (perhaps due to wifi issues rather than the app) prevents me from giving it 5 stars. Can be a bit slow with big files (longer videos). Worth downloading if you want to easily transfer photos between i Devices without cables..Version: 2.2.4

Plenty of features and customisationGreat so that lets you set up exactly how you want images to transfer to our from your icecube to a computer or other location. Easy set up, works well. Only negative is can't sync to icloud drive. But not sure if apple allow this. Other wise all good..Version: 3.2

Great app for transfer to NAS!I have a TrueNAS server that I have been backing up to manually, until now. I purchased the premium version, then reached out to support to see how I could get it on my wife’s phone too. Support was quick and courteous with very helpful information on how to do it. Now, we can both automatically back up to the server and this saves me so much time. So far I have tried SMB and FTP for transfer. I have it setup to automatically run at 2am when charging. FTP is much faster, while SMB is painfully slow. From what I have read, SMB is better for large, single files but has a lot of overhead when transferring a lot of small files (like a list of photos). So experiment with the protocols if you are not seeing your desired behavior..Version: 4.5.2

Much more dependable than Apple’s transfersI don’t give much reviews but today felt I needed to give one. I love this app and have it installed everywhere, on my iPhones, iPads and on my macs! My friends also have it. It’s the best photo transfer app for the iPhone. It is much more dependable than Apple’s own transfers. I stopped using Airdrop because it failed so many times, or would stall, or simply wouldn’t see the other device. But not this app! This app finds my devices immediately, never has had any trouble connecting and the transfers are fast! Highly highly highly recommended..Version: 4.4.2

Always works. Best way to transfer photos on windows pc.I have used this app for years because I never know where or what quality the photos in iCloud or my iphone are and if I have them all. Simple interface. No doubt if a file has transferred and then can be stored how you want on your pc..Version: 4.2

GreatWorks awesome!.Version: 3.2.3

Awesome App!Would be cool if you could add support for other online services such as Picasa..Version: 1.1

AWESOME!I've been using PhotoSync since it's introduction...flawless & so simple to use! Thank you for offering such a useful app! Jerry.Version: 4.5.2

Excellent solution.I use this because it makes image transfer between Mac Book and iPhone very easy over wifi. Occasionally it won't see the other machine, so turn various things off and on, and it will be fine. I like it so much I'm not even taking a star off for this. I tried a few others a while back and they were useless. I settled on PhotoSync..Version: 3.2.5

FantasticI use it all the time for transferring my RAW/TIFF digital camera files to my phone. Works well & haven't ran into any problems at all..Version: 3.2.1

Photo SyncGreat app!!.Version: 3.2.7

Amazing for transferring photos from iPhone to desktop!I had to transfer 500+ photos from an album on my phone to my computer, and this app not only made it so easy and quick, but also converted HEIC photos to JPEG which was so helpful! Highly recommend!.Version: 4.6.7

Adventures with PhotoSyncAs a pretty elderly lady with zero technical skills I have been all round the houses (several times) trying to get pix from phone to iPad. But I succeeded in the end - deep breath. Now to add pix to an email. Probably not quite the review you were looking for but thank you PhotoSync for making it possible to transfer photos all over the place. I now have libraries on phone, iPad AND laptop. I have a son and daughter in computer land but they get a little brisk when I keep asking for help so I’m very pleased with myself for working this particular problem out myself. “Have a nice day.”.Version: 3.2.7

Work better than ever!Been using this since it first came out. Each version even gets better. Lightening "FAST keeps track of what you've synced, where it went, has all the meta data (file size, etc, keeps original file size!, simply amazing. Had a problem of it crashing all of a sudden? Deleted it and re-downloaded it, back to normal again= perfect. My love of this app continues to grow over the years! It truly is the only apple app I use Every Day. Can’t imagine not having it. I’m praying it will work with ios13... and after all this time why wouldn't it...it worked smoothly with all the previous upgrades...Mahalo nut load - Michael in Hawaii.Version: 4.0

Essential App if you use WindowsWorks easily, perfectly, quickly every single time. I wish I’d found it years ago..Version: 4.0

There isn’t anything more powerfulFor getting your photos and videos off your phone and to your destination of choice. Forget iCloud and Google. Easily send your photos and videos to the storage of your choice, with file names and folder structure you design, easily and automatically. This app has been around for years, with a responsive developer who isn’t going to abandon you. I’ve recommended this app many times to people looking for a powerful and flexible sync solution for iOS. This is it..Version: 4.7.1

Photo syncWorks a treat and so fast. Made transferring my photo, video etc so much easier.Version: 4.1.1

GREAT APP AND WONDERFUL ASSISTANCE & SUPPORTI turned to Photosync after being overly disappointed by Camera Bits and their resistance in developing Photomechanic for iPad. I tried Photosync. The app works flawlessly and Mr. Henrik Holtman helped me set up all the settings to create a workflow suitable for my needs. I am a photojournalist. I need to file quick and preserve the metadata/captions of each image. This seems obvious to many. However, I gave many other apps a shot and all of them created an array of problems with the FTP transfers. Furthermore, their technical support did not seem to understand the requirements of us photojournalists. Photosync and Henrik, instead got it done and took good care of all the details I was pointing out, through an impeccable technical support. Thank You all from the bottom of my heart! Giovanni.Version: 4.7

BrilliantAbsolutely love it. Working at home and office can easily transfer groups of photos ready to email. I got sick of individually emailing them before. Easy to use.Version: 1.5

Best app ever to send and receive picturesI have been a long time user of PhotoSync. The improvements the app has had over the years has been just awesome and is just getting better and better. My family and I use it for transferring photos to Smugmug and it just works flawlessly. Most importantly, is the support and commitment of the app developers to respond and act on resolving small issues I have faced that makes this the best app experience for me. Kudos to this team and hope it continues to grow..Version: 4.0.1

Incredibly useful product for getting photos off Sony cameras (plus more)Been a user since 2014 and it has been indispensable to me for getting my photos from a RX100 using a Toshiba Flashair WiFi to my iPhone. No longer need to remove the card, hook up to a laptop and download. Also today discovered they support Sony WiFi directly. The most impressive thing is the excellent customer support. Special shout out to Hendrik and Helmut who have promptly replied to my many queries over the years and have ALWAYS sorted out my issues, some of them self-inflicted ! I strongly recommend this app. James..Version: 4.8.2

Best photo transfer app ever!I can now automatically convert HEIC photos to JPG meaning I can view them on my PC with no hassle. Thank you PhotoSync team for another great update. PhotoSync is truly the best app I have on my iPhone!.Version: 3.2.1

Live Photo’s!The perfect app that is able to transfer your photos back to your Camera Roll. I was also able to transfer all my Live Photos back to my camera roll, in full working order. Life saver! Note: When you transfer a Live Photo to your PC/MAC, it will appear on your computer as 2 files (jpeg & mov). However when you transfer both files back to your phone, it will only appear as 1 file on your phone, the Live Photo!.Version: 3.2.3

IncredibleSo happy with this.Version: 2.1

Photo transfer .I have been trying for a long time and with numerous apps to transfer photos between PC and iPad and back again with no success until I found PhotoSync. Now I can’t believe how easy it is. Highly recommend. 😀.Version: 3.2.7

One that works! So far the only one photo transfer app that really works. Tried pretty much all the other apps and they don’t deliver. This one has worked..Version: 3.2.4

Awesome, but...I use this app for transferring between my iPhone4 and iPad2 when on holidays and it's almost perfect! But it does need to be able to create separate folders on the iPad as putting everything into 'camera roll' just makes a mess. If it had the ability to create folders it would be perfect!.Version: 1.1

Really, really impressedFrom it's description it seemed to do what I wanted - transfer photos from the iPhone to iPhoto. Not only does it do that quickly and efficiently, it also does video and makes the process simple and it just works. This app is undoubtedly my surprise favourite of 2012 - and I've tried heaps of apps this year! You will not regret getting this app..Version: 1.7.1

Best IPhone data transfer appI tried so many different apps and online tools to transfer my iPhone pics and videos to my MacBook. I couldn’t find anything like this app and always got error back .I came across this app. I thought it might wont work as well but i was shocked after seen the performance of this app. It transfer files super fast . App transfered mine around 4000 files in almost 1 hour. I am so happy . I have been looking something like this app from last few months to transfer my data. Good on you app creator 👍👍👍.Version: 4.3.2

Everything as promised! It is rare that something work exactly as promised, but in this case it is true. I don’t give glowing reviews as a rule, because there is almost always something that falls short. Here however that is not the case. We have had this app for several years and it has never failed to transfer photos, or videos from many different formats. We have been extremely happy with this app..Version: 3.2.7

Not GreatI used to like this app a lot, but I'm finding now that I have to force close it on both my iPad and desktop after each transfer. Or, I have to perform the transfer manually ... and then it still doesn't work. The instructions that come with it seem to be written for a different, better app. As I said, I used to like this app a lot, but it gets worse every day. I've moved on to other transferring apps..Version: 3.2.2

AWESOMEBest video And photo transfer app!!! Highly recommend it :).Version: 3.2.1

Photo SyncIn the Synchronizing of photos from one device to another, I found that not being able to transfer to a specific photo album a problem. I tried to transfer photos on an iPhone from a specific album to the same album on the iPad. My iPad setup matches my iPhone’s and I wanted the photos to be set into the same albums. However this app only transferred to the photo albums Library. I had to then move each photo to the proper album. After making the review comment above, I was contacted by the company via reply email and was given precise instruction on how to accomplish my photo transfers. I successfully transferred over 5000 photos to their proper folder in minutes. I would recommend this app and the company service. Thank you for giving me the chance to update my review..Version: 4.7.1

Works a treatI've been using this for about four years now and it still works great. Keep it coming!.Version: 3.2.3

Phenomenal app!!!Well done. Works great. Love it. Highly recommended. I went ahead and purchased at lifetime subscription to their premium content. Solid app..Version: 4.4.2

ConvivialUltra facile d’usage.Version: 4.4.2

Teaching old dogs new tricks! For those less tech savvy -like me: If you have a pc, you must first download PhotoSync Companion. (Just google it. It's a free download.) With the Companion I could easily click-and-drag pictures from my pc folders to my iPad. Fast! Easy! Awesome! You might have to disable your firewall for incoming photos..Version: 4.6.1

Still using it!Posted a while back and just wanted to follow up. Photo sync is still part of my workflow for A/V. It's just always there, helping me transfer files back-and-forth between devices. It's dependable like getting electricity from the wall sockets in my office, i.e., I just call up the app and use it. Would be very frustrated without it!.Version: 3.2.3

Superbe application!Très efficace pour transférer les photos vers le iPad ou le PC! D’une simplicité déconcertante, mais tellement efficace pour transférer vos photos et vidéos d’un appareil à un autre. Il faut seulement que les appareils soient sur le même réseau wifi. Bravo.Version: 4.6.1

Automatically syncs iOS photo app librariesI’m finally able to merge my wife’s own photo library into a single “family library” - *automatically*. Instead of just being able to share an album and than needing to import selections from the shared album to the library, the PhotoSync app automatically adds ALL new photos from another library into a single library or syncs it to another location. The free companion receiver app is available on MacOS and windows and works like a charm. The support site is excellent with plenty of step by step screenshots to walk you through the initial configuration of the sync. It has tons of options to sync to another photo library, files, NAS drives, cloud storage and more..Version: 4.4.2

Simple, reliableNo dramas with this app, reassuring to back up my photos..Version: 1.5

Must have AppThere are only a few 'must haves' on my list & this is one of them! Easy to use & saves so much time transferring photos..Version: 1.7.1

Excellent toolWhen we travelled for 5 weeks we used the software to download each day's photos to Flickr. It was very quick & extremely easy. We are highly satisfied. If you could improve the software in any way, perhaps you could enable us to set up he default viewing privileges in Flickr? From our iPad we had to go into Flickr and alter the protection on each photo individually. Overall rating: 5 star..Version: 1.1

Fantastic SolutionThis app has been an amazing find after years of struggling with clunky systems to manage photos between devices. The ratio of simplicity of use to comprehensive functionality is 2nd to none. I have been using it for a few years now and have also discovered that in addition to managing my photos I can bulk select images in WhatsApp chats and send these directly to my PC for processing. This is very useful if you don’t want to auto save WhatsApp images to camera roll. It is an highly commendable app and I congratulate the developers..Version: 4.7.1

Very useful appIt's an excellent tool for transferring pictures and video to and from your iOS device..Version: 1.7.2
