✓ Positively surprisedI tried a lot of the best reviews apps and this is by far underrated. It’s so simple to use to build home content inventory. It has all the bells and whistles you need. CSV reports are complete, quick and easily downloadable. It’s flexible enough to create all the locations/rooms and item categories you need. It’s a slam dunk better tool than any of the other products like MyStuff or Sortly. The one thing I don’t like is the way they describe one photo per item vs multi photo for one item, they make it confusing, otherwise, I’m really happy with it. Plus it backs up to iCloud..Version: 7.8
✓ Perfect appI needed an app I could literally list everything I own, it’s location, value, the cost, serial numbers, etc in case of a break in theft or house fire, etc, any type of natural disaster or any other disaster, with the free version, you’re only allowed 25 items, with the paid version you get unlimited, i haven’t tried the syncing yet, but I’m sure it is great as well, this is the perfect app you willing need if you ever have to make a report or insurance claim on your home contents, the 5.99 for the unlimited paid version is well worth the piece of mind, I don’t normally do long detailed reviews, but this one deserves the 5 stars I’m giving it. I liked the free 25 entries feature so I could evaluate. $5 is a bargain for unlimited entries. I had a question so I tried the email support, got an answer the NEXT day. It was actually fun to snap pictures of all my stationary Woodworking tools with my phone and them fill in details on my iPad. ✓ THIS is what an app should be!I have been using this app since 2018, and I’m so glad that it exists. The fact that it is subscription-free, is full-feature, RELIABLY syncs with iCloud, and doesn’t siphon your data like pretty much every other app on the App Store, is the reason I had no hesitation when purchasing. I especially love the way items are broken down by category and room — especially on iPad — and, am thankful for the inventory report feature (which, unfortunately, had to be put to use a few months ago). The most “difficult“ part is putting all of your past items into the app; luckily, it wasn’t too big of a deal for me as I came across the app at a time when I was moving… so, I was in the middle of cataloging everything anyway. Capturing and cataloguing images with the iPhone camera is a breeze, and the ability to archive the images in the reports to be synced to my desktop iMac is a very powerful feature. I can even edit the html report (using Coda2, BBEdit etc) to modify its formatting and even change the embedded images to point to the real (unzipped) image files instead to reduce the html file size where there are very many photos in the report..Version: 2.0.3

I would like to add other pictures from that list of photos when editing an item rather than going back to “saved” photos. Extra steps. I would also like: A Windows version so I can sync to my PC An easier way to delete unwanted photos. To add some fields to the “edit” screen like: size dimensions, approximate age to the edit screen or rather than purchase date. I knew this was the perfect app in less than five minutes after running through the features and adding items, printing PDFs, then syncing to my icloud. As a person who’s suffered a traumatic brain injury, has problems learning new things, and has basically no short term memory; THIS APP IS SO INTUITIVE!!!! I never felt lost or dumb trying to figure things out. ✓ Easy to Use and Time Saving Inventory App!After looking at several inventory apps we decided on this one for its ease of use. My wife and I wanted a straightforward way to list items in the house. After our friends lost their home in a fire, they could not remember some of the ornaments they had when making an insurance claim. If they had an app like this, they would have had evidence of all of these when making an insurance claim. We also rent our house for holiday lets, so it has proved invaluable. We can now quickly check the inventory for damage or loss when the guests have departed. The app runs on my wife’s phone as well and allows us to both use the app and synchronise what we have entered. All information is backed up to the cloud. Entering information is simple. You can take photos and enter information as you go and take a photo, or photo first and enter the details later, using as many images or information as necessary for the item. One feature that would have been great for those moving home and packing in boxes, would have been a way to group items in boxes using QR codes to identify what was in the box. I highly recommended this app to anyone who wants a basic but thorough way to enter home contents without fuss..Version: 4.3

✓ WowOk, I usually do not rate apps but this one exceeds all expectations. We are moving and I wanted an app that not only documented our items but nicely organized them. Home Contents does this and so much more. Right off the bat, we easily set up our categories and since the sync feature works beautifully, were able to quickly get through rooms with both of us using our phones to document and then sync to the ipad. Easy to enter item information and photos. Easy to search for things. Easy to run amazing reports. My only complaint is that I wish the developer had put together an actual manual (pdf) on how to use this app. I know it probably does so much more than I realize but I am having to find out by just trial and error. ✓ Essential.There are other apps which try to do the same thing but none are as thoughtfully designed. The designers really considered the workflow of adding many items with things like the multi photo add feature which lets you go around a room snapping items to add them, so you have a basis from which to fill in details at your leisure. The reports are also elegant and so useful. All in all it’s well worth the asking price. I only have a few feature requests: associating warranty documents with items (if not by directly attaching them, perhaps pointing to a file stored on iCloud Drive?) and moving assistance features such as creating numbered moving boxes to let you track which item is in which box during a move. You can do this manually in the item notes, but batch assigning items to a box would be awesome..Version: 7.2

✓ Great for organizing Christmas Decor!I gather and separate multiple themes, ribbons, and colored balls in see thru boxes. I take pictures of the box contents and can easily locate each item and where it is stored. Decorations are stored in the garage, in an attic and three closets in the house. Every item has its own special spot for storage and is returned year to year. If I used the same items every year, I could remember where those items were. However, I change themes and with this app I can easily find whatever I am looking for. I also have a box on the app dedicated to “Every Year Christmas”. ✓ This produce is a God SendOnce I had a brilliant product that acted as a relatively unsophisticated database but it was so useful that it could handle all sorts of simple database requirements. ✓ So Nearly PerfectThis is a great app which is a fraction of the price of the best known organisation/inventory app. I’m using it to make sure I have an accurate estimate of the value of my stuff for my home Insurance, and more generally be more mindful of what I own. After a few minutes playing around I upgraded to the pro version as I liked what I saw and was certain I was going to use it. A feature I’m very impressed by is the ability to upload multiple photos at one and have each photo create a new item. Very handy, however there is no batch edit feature so you’ll have to manually go in one by one and assign categories etc. Not the end of the world, but would be a neat feature to add. In terms of other missing features, I’d love to see sub categories introduced. I’m using it to inventory all my belongings and not all categories are created equal. My categories list is a hot mess of things like furniture, soft furnishings, book genres and different categories of clothing. I’d love to have one category for books and one for clothing and then be able to sub categories items within that parent category. It would also be nice for categories and locations to be integrated a bit more - e.g. have the ability to set clothes as a category in the location bedroom. As well as the ability to batch edit, it would be really time saving for the app to retain some information regarding commonly assigned retailers for example. Most of my clothes come from the same few stores yet I have to manually type the name every time I add a new item. I’m still new to the app, and it is excellent but a few improvements would make it very close to being the perfect app for inventories and home organisation. Will update as I discover more features that I love or more features I wish the developers would include..Version: 7.2
✓ Essential app for homeowner or renterI've been using this app for about a year now. It is by far the easiest and complete app for keeping an inventory of my possessions. Every item of value is catalogued in representative folders. I had the misfortune of being burglarized last night. This App makes the task so easy; just walk around the house room by room and photograph everything. ✓ Nearly perfect!This app is the best inventory / item organizer I’ve managed to find, after going through so many intended for personal and business inventories. The interface is clean and refined, nice to look at, and importantly, the layout & navigation is very impressive. Thought went into the look & fields you can edit. You’re not shoehorned into filling out all the fields, only what you need. I wish you had the option to change colour palette to a dark skin for us with vision difficulties, and having the option to change font type would be fantastic if we could pick between serif & sans serif fonts. Another cosmetics & organization improvement would be options for thumbnail gallery view like carousel and list, with collapsible or hidden fields so we have the choice to quickly look at our inventory without the clutter of text and field boxes..Version: 6.3
