✓ Fun and challengingIm an intermediate player but this is the first game who's artificial intelligence challenges me. This makes me very happy! The only problem I've had so far is having the board stop allowing me to play. The home button still worked but it wouldn't let me play anywhere. This has happened twice. ✓ It’s OKI’ve played the physical board game Othello for 40 years and have only lost two games. On occasions I’ve beaten the computer of this app as well. I noticed that some reviewers complained about the system taking more than one move. It has happened to me as well. However, I examined the moves. That is because I did not have a move. I had to ‘skip’. I do think it would be nice for the computer to first inform the single player that they must skip because they have no move. I trust that the computer is correct, but I like to look ahead as I would if I were playing a live person. There have been times where I had 3 or 4 moves and my physical opponent had none. But I gave my opponent time to review the board plays oppose to my just moving ahead and not telling them they have no move. A good app, but give me time to examine the board oppose just taking multiple moves one immediately after the other..Version: 1.40

✓ Warning, Just a Warning.This was the 1st game I installed on my iPhone 4S, and it remains the only one I can't help but play throughout my day. I have never played before and skipped over the RULES. I was a little confused at first. Why is, I call Reversi "she", cheating? She was just that good. On the hardest level I still only win < 10% of the time. On the rare occasion I school her, I get a tremendous boost of confidence. So if you are a glutton for punishment, proceed..Version: 1.10

Reversi Free offers a nice challenge; I have serious trouble at the highest level, but can win if I stay alert at the second highest level. It's cleanly implemented. Some options to vary the appearance would be nice. I've just spent the $2 on the Pro version to get rid of the ads, but they're livable for those on a tight budget..Version: 1.16

Recently I played the Othello board game with my Physical Therapist and started wondering if somebody made Reversi for the iPhone. It turned out there were several choices. I don't like that it always shows all posaible moves, and doesn't show if player has no moves before comp plays two or more times in a row. It would be better if player had to confirm that there's no move before comp proceeds with his next move without consulting the player. All in all, very good app!.Version: 1.10
