✓ It’s a cheap program but still gutted I purchased itIt’s very dated in design and probably more suited to an iPhone than an iPad (although I would hate use it on an iPhone). ✓ Not worth the money for small projectsUnable to snap a grid drawing of my smaller project. If I was working with numerous acres this might be worth the expense, but useless for a smaller project like mine. You should be able to enter a dimension as a starter and be able to work from there. Also, in the systems page, trying to scroll up or down only worked part of the time. I kept having to exit the program and re-enter to get it to work. In the end, it simply wouldn’t scroll at all. ✓ Terrible Underdeveloped APPThere really isn’t anything good to say about this poor app, terrible presentation. The graphic elements are poor and difficult to resize and not enough choice. The hardscapes had to be one size or shape, there was no modification allowed- decks are built in different shapes, not just square... Not many options, even if you are willing to pay the price. ✓ Designing for my new houseI deleted this app about 20 minutes after downloading it. I was hopeful that it would help me layout a design for my new house but I could not get passed a few issues. -I cannot use the app on my iPad in landscape mode.. (ironic?) -I could not figure out how to layout a custom sized property, shape, or existing structures. If thats an option, It is not intuitive at all. -It feels like I’m playing with an app that was made for toddlers. ✓ Lacks basicsGreat looking app, unfortunately lacks the basic ability to create your own size landscape. Example: The space I want to landscape is 10’ x 35’. I can’t quickly add that shape or size blueprint to work with. I either need to select the actual area on google maps (which is practically impossible for a space that small), or draw out a blueprint on paper, take a picture of the blueprint with my phone, and add it via camera roll. ✓ Poor app very small amount of choice and functionsQuite a poor app for the price. Landscaping app with almost no plants in it. Only a few shapes and sizes with a couple of repeated colors. The functionality is also very poor. No ability to resize objects at all. No ability to create or change objects. We also had problems with it just losing work half way through so the stability is also very bad here. It's essentially a clipart dropping program with very little choice. ✓ Portrait mode onlyOne thing i am struggling with is the fact that I like to use apps like this in landscape mode, as its more practical to use with the apple keyboard connected. The app is for use in portrait mode only. I can still use it, but the measurement bar is completely upside down and the text buttons are sideways. I personally don’t understand how anybody would NOT prefer to use a LANDSCAPE app in LANDSCAPE MODE. It’s not practical to do it this way in the slightest if you have a keyboard mount or any kind of standard horizontal stand for your iPad case. ✓ So far,so goodOnly been using the app for a few days but it’s super simple to use. The only drawbacks so far are that you can only enlarge things equally I.e. you can expand or contract a square but you can’t drag one side longer to make a rectangle. This is particularly weird when trying to place walls as they expand in width not just length which is a shame. There’s workarounds using multiple duplicates of smaller objects on single layers but that can get a bit hard to track objects. The other drawback is the sliders for grid size which have no measurements on the slider? You can zoom the grid but you won’t know if you’re looking at metres or cm, which is pretty important if you’re trying to get any of accurate measurements in your garden. On the plus side, the ability to grab a map photo as your basic layer is brilliantly helpful and there’s an interesting set of basic shapes and plants etc to use. There’s also a great notes feature that’s very easy and helpful to use. It could do with the developments above and more plant options (there’s no climbing plants for example), but so far I’m really pleased with this purchase..LL365Version: 3.2.2

✓ Do not buyThere are some 4/5 reviews, I'm not sure if they've actually used this app. It's intensely frustrating to use. Theres no "send to back/front" so when clicking on things, they come forward and if there were things on top, now they're buried never to be seen again. ✓ Decent but needs more featuresThis app is OK for general use for basic purposes however I feel like it relies too heavily on the drawing portion of the app to make up for its lack of features such as additional shapes and plant types and the ability to stretch an item such as a fence or Rockwall to a certain length. I also feel the interface could use a little bit of work like when I tap on an item and then go back it takes me to the main menu instead of back where I was previously. ✓ Could use improvementComing from a landscape designer’s perspective, the app could use a lot of work. The designs shown in the apps description are aesthetically pleasing however, from the limited time I have spent with it, it is almost impossible to create a drawing that is to scale. You can only use pre- determined objects for creating your basic site map. You can adjust the structures, but not easily create a house outline for example. You cannot snap the lines to the grid as in most AutoCAD programs to create straight polygonal lines. ✓ Missing featureThis is a fabulous app for the price, but buyer beware, it’s missing something extremely important. The photo export is a low res joke. There is no PDF or high quality export. ✓ Interesting, but needs improvementI wanted to be able to show contractors the modifications I wish to make in my garden and this tool is great in that regard. In enables you to create your design on several layers so that whatever your basic structure or foundation is not altered when you make changes. On the other side this app needs improvement. First and foremost, it crashes often when your deisgn starts to require more memory. Second, you cannot change the colors of the plant, pavement, and so on. ✓ KingThe app is fairly easy to use, I like that u can find the port of the garden through search the map online. Definitely more option of objects needed. It has hardly any really shape for plants or furniture or flooring. The objects options doesn’t cater for irregular shapes garden. Also for example furnitures should be fixed size, so I can tell how much space needed for relevant furnitures. There also should be a 3D plan final view option to see after the 2D overview is completed, therefore I can see the whether the heights of plant or other setting sitting in good balance or not. ✓ Unsupported, improvements not made, poorDon’t waste your money on this app, it hasn’t been updated by the developers for 4 years and the modest improvements they’d need to make to make it a very useful productive app haven’t and won’t happen. They have never sorted the Mac app (on trial years ago), the ‘export to email’ button didn’t work for me but turns out apparently it just emails a picture (with no scale anyway). You can’t create your own scale, or template size so you have to adjust all your workings to the board size they provide, you can’t create even basic custom shapes (so if you need a rectangle that isn’t 2:1 ratio you end up needing to add multiple, try to line them up and then group, with no snap to grid option)..Mikie St.Version: 3.2.2

✓ Way over ratedThis app is probably fine for doing some rough “sketching” of a yard, but it’s terrible if you want to do anything exact. There are rulers and grid lines, but they are completely unrelated so doing something to scale is virtually impossible. You can’t adjust the ratio of pre-made shapes, so if you want a rectangle that is a different length to width ratio, you have to use multiple rectangles and overlap them. ✓ For what it isI like this app for what it is. I wanted a simple app that allowed me to see the space I’m working with. I enjoy sketching out my own property for projects, gardening, playground, homesteading. This app is great for on the go and allows me to leave a sketch pad and ruler at the house. The reason for a 3 and not a 5 is for the limited varieties of plants and equipment. It is helping me visualize my goal, but I still need an active imagination to see the plans in my head. I like the 2d sketch and that part is enough for me. It’s an easy to use program and I do not regret the purchase.
