✓ Worked for my simple needsI simply wanted something to allow me to plug in a mic so my daughter could sing along with songs karaoke-style. This worked great as I can import any song from iTunes and she can sing along. It doesn't have the lyrics, but we can find them other ways and I only wanted a makeshift karaoke, as the real karaoke apps all have drawbacks..Version: 1.0
✓ Awesome ToolAnd like all Big Boy Toys, you have to know how to use them. I don't understand all the bad reviews. Most of them appear to be from people who have little concept of what this app does, and does for free! If you want the bells and whistles, buy the 20 dollar version instead of the ala carte version. I plan to right now. There are a few legitimate complaints listed with justifiable reasons. Thousands of dollars of vocal effects processing for free, and people complain! I think it's a very well done app. And still a value being nickel and dimed with in app purchases. I do wish all their apps (Amplitube,Vocalive and Midi) could somehow integrate together, maybe in the next version. Oh and I like my Irig mic quite well. Another value for the money..Version: 1.0

✓ Full Featured Vocal Recorder & Live Performance App!!!I’ve been playing, singing and recording music since 1983 and over the years I’ve had a lot of equipment that has cost me thousands of dollars and this is something that packs a punch for a small fraction of the price! The only thing that I haven’t purchased yet is the looper, but that’ll come later. The only thing that I see at this point in time that needs to be updated is the (Files App) integration instead of the (iTunes Sharing) feature which is old! I’m really wanting to recommend this app for people doing live singing that can’t afford all the equipment that exist in the real world for this kind of output! Really hoping the developer continues to support this awesome app!!!.Version: 3.0.3
✓ If I could give it more stars I wouldBlimey! What an app. I purchased this and an iMic. After a day or so I paid to unlock the extra features and effects. If you have GarageBand, buy this and Audiobus. The quality of recording and effects is awesome. Well worth upgrading and using for any hobby/semi pro songwriter-singer..Version: 2.0.3

✓ ColinWorks well,just be carefull not to overload the input,I use it live on big gigs! Being able to format different combinations of reverb delay and Chorus eliminates the need to change fx on multiple fx units..Version: 1.0
✓ Using vocalive for saxThis app rocks as a replacement for my rack of gear when I play solo sax with sequences or live with a band. I can put a short delay for a doubling effect, then some reverb and a quick delaying longer delayed reverb. I then add some compression to thicken the sound. How easy, and it sounds great..Version: 1.6

✓ ExcellentAmazing app, it's transforming how people record. The only this is. I bought pitch fix add on and when I use it on the i pad it causes a fraction of a second delay : which means if I put the backing music on one track and my vocal on another track (using pitch fix) it means I have to export all my tracks to a laptop to compensate for the slight delay using pitch fix (even on ultra low latency) Otherwise I think this is an amazing app and works particularly well with the iPad built in mic (even better than irig mic), just point mic the right way to get the clearest quality and make suitable volume adjustments. If you take the time to learn how to use it and make the most of it then it can become an invaluable tool for songwriting and recording as well as recording cover demos, etc...Version: 1.5
✓ Expensive but worth every penny!Let's get one thing out of the way first, this is going to cost about £15 (equivalent) to get ALL the functionality out of it. This plus an irig mic, a backing track and a decent pair of headphones and you have yourself a recording studio! The only thing I struggle with now is getting everyone in the house to be quiet while I am trying to record! Go to a professional recording studio for an hour and you are looking at 4 times the asking price. I cannot recommend this app highly enough. Well done..Version: 1.6.1
✓ Great startRecently purchased this App and it shows great promise. One feature that would be great is if a MIDI function could be included to control the harmonies in Choir mode. I.e to be able to pick out notes from a midi keyboard. Perhaps the authors of this program could put it on the wish list. Great app though. Trevor.Version: 1.6
✓ Great little app.Great for putting ideas down. Even good with the built in mic on the IPad. Very easy to use and some useful effects available. Not at all complicated as suggested by one review. Just go into set up turn on the internal mic, go to recorder and you are away. Superb..Version: 1.0
