Didn't expect to be plagued with adverts throughout a paid app. More worrying was that you have to give your email address to download with no privacy statement or opt out options! ✓ A bit disappointingDespite purchasing this app, I still get nagged to check out other apps no matter how many times I decline to. Also I may not have purchased this app had I known that the user must still manually install ringtones (user is emailed sounds with instructions on how to use iTunes to incorporate the new sounds). I'm sure that is Apple's fault for not giving developers permission to write new sound files to the system, but still I think it is a bait and switch tactic to lure people into "downloading" sounds when it's really "downloading, saving and installing" sounds. Finally, the vast majority of sounds (even in the so-called "most popular" category) are just downright annoying - I wouldn't use most sounds except as a buzzer for Apple's timer app. Would be nice if there were lots more pleasant, subtle, unobtrusive sounds that actually WOULD be nice to hear with the delivery of every text message, email, etc..Version: 7.0

✓ Not what is seems -- don't buy it-HUGE waste of money!!You can choose a text tone and hear the text tone but in order to actually make it your text or ring tone you have to click it, say you wanna download it, then wait for the app to send you an email giving you instructions on how to download it to your computer and THEN get it from your computer to your iPhone! And even then, it gets even more complicated and most of the time the emails the app sends you to give you these complicated directions go directly to your junk mail so you never even know if you receive them. If you hate the commercials you see on tv with "tones" of cartoon voices screaming "new text!", then don't waste your dollar. However, I had a message saying "upgrade to the full version" which I did but to be honest it's not worth it even though it's 69p. Most of the sounds are on the free version plus several are of a lower quality. One more thing i've noticed, there's another "upgrade" version on the paid version so yet again you have to pay another 69p (which I didn't do). This leads me to one question... ✓ Great app, but really needs an update badlyThere are many great tones and alerts here, but the method by which they must be installed is insane. ITunes has changed so much since their help video was made, I'm not even sure the method still works. I just unlocked unlimited tones with an in-app purchase, which was my own fault for not investigating more thoroughly before doing so. still, a fresh update would solve everything, even if they just re-did the video with the modern iTunes to show that things still work essentially the same, or to show us how to use these now that iTunes has evolved so much. ✓ Woah! Ads?????!I just got this app. When opening it for the first time, I was greeted with a popup ad. I noticed the app itself has a section for iAds. Very, very misleading and downright fake screenshots shown here. I see no ads. I hate feeling ripped off like this and now I am extremely wary to give this shady developer my email address to email me some tones. We really need to stop accepting this kind of shadiness from businesses, which is really what these developers are..they are inc., etc. If you don't like it either - Hit them with bad reviews.
