✓ AnnoyedThis app and others like this are a total joke and it’s supposed to keep your privacy safe. If any knows how to use an IPhone al they have to do to shut off the alarm is double click the home button and shut the app off and they can get in easily. ✓ Phone securityThis is a fun app and it would of got 5 stars if the sensitivity could be lowered a lot more. as when the sensitivity is on the lowest option the alarm still goes off when the phone isn't being touched or moved which is very annoying.Version: 4.5
✓ Dont waste your moneyYou cant turn off the alarm.. so the alarm will go off as soon as you touch the screen... therefore you will not get any photos. No one is going to try and access your ipad/iphone while the alarm goes off. If you disable the APP sounds, in the hope that you can turn off the sounding alarm.. you are wasting your time.. the APP resets the volume to high upon activation. Its nothing more than a movement or screen touch detector. You cant email photos (not that you will see anyone).. to an email address. Going to have to ask Apple for my money back..Version: 4.0
✓ Not trustworthyThis app is great the first few times but on and on the sound for the alarm doesn't work. Also when the password is typed incorrectly there is no sound for it. ✓ Good idea not executed wellThe biggest flaw with this app is the ability to easily bypass it. Hitting the home button will allow the person to disable the app at the touch of 1 button. Or hitting the power button will actually lock your phone and whoever's trying to open it will have to put in your phones password not the apps password and it never activates the actual app to take a picture rendering it useless and just alarming. ✓ Nice idea, but flawedI like the concept of this app. I like that the app snaps a pic and maps the intrusion attempt. Once the alarm is activated, it goes off as soon as the phone is touched. That means it goes off when you touch YOUR OWN phone after you return to it! It continues to go off until you correctly enter the password set in the app. The app should trigger the PASSWORD screen when touched, then scream/photo only if invalid entry. ✓ Major FlawAs mentioned by another user, this app has a major flaw that allows anyone to have access to your phone if they double tap the home button. Even if you lock the phone after activating the alarm, you can double click the home button and quickly close out the app altogether by swiping it up. Thus, allowing the individual full access to the phone without the need to enter a legit passcode. Sure, the picture is still taken if you have the option on and it's uploaded to DropBox.. But seriously?! How can you charge for an app that can't protect your phone over a basic phone function? DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP. First you need to activate the log feature everytime before activating the alarm or else it wont take a pic. It ONLY takes a pic when someone inputs the wrong password and shows a google map view of the location where the device armed. If they just pick it up it wont take the pic. Once the password is input wrong you cant input it again the dial pad is not visible because its taking the hidden pic. Once the pic is taken its saved in the log not the phone or touch itself. Once you unlock the password you are ASKED if you want to email the pic Also when the alarm sounds its used to SCARE PPL ONLY. It does not protect your phone or ipod touch from intruders. The password is used ONLY to turn off the alarm sound. Thats right ONLY to shut it up. While the alarm sound is loud, and still asking for the password you can still browse apps and other stuff in the device when pressing the HOME BUTTON. What that means is you have to open /set this app for it to work, every time, it does not auto activate like your screen locks. So the app and your ipad are open/unlocked when this app is activated.
