✓ Ending a bit rubbishI enjoyed playing the game with its kooky characters and decent gameplay, although it lacked any actual puzzles - tell a lie, there was one. I particularly liked how it took a rather sinister and gruesome turn towards the end, although the ending was an extremely abrupt missed opportunity. It had the potential to be a real head fk but it was meh. That’s where the star was lost. Worth a play..Version: 1.2

✓ Interesting game,This is a really great game but it only gets 4 stars from me because I cannot read the text when the sound is off on my iPad.The colours of the text blend into the colourful backgrounds making it impossible to read.I often play my games without the sound on,I prefer to read the text. I would consider it pretty difficult and I would probably not have made it without a walkthrough, but that's not uncommon for these types of games. ✓ My favorite game along with Harvey’s new eyesI keep coming back to play this game. I love how childish the art is but how it’s also so dark and creepy. Edna is someone who is flawed but also makes us root for her. The game play is hard to figure out sometimes so I needed a walkthrough when I got stuck. Otherwise, it’s so good and entertaining and the music is bomb.Version: 1.2

✓ Problem with a wrenchI was really enjoying the game up until now, I am right at the end and need to pick up a wrench, but its block up by the inventory icons and I cannot get it! Really a bug of this magnitude in a 4 pound game and right at the end is very disappointing! Could someone pls make an update? Did anyone else have the same problem? Update: Somehow I was able to pick up the wrench today! Great game! Gripping story line and excellent graphics! Really enjoyed it, I would have given it 5/5, but some of the puzzles don't seem logical, oh and shortcuts to places you have already been to would be useful. ✓ Good game ruined by bug near endStarted off as a great game, lovely graphics, tricky puzzles. A bit too tedious with the dialogue. But good. Then near the end there are a few bugs (stabbing Beeman’s foot with a fork, rearranging the menu), which is frustrating. But you can get over them if you keep persevering..Version: 1.2

✓ Humerous, heartwarming & suspenseful adventureJust finished the game and I absolutely loved it. The slightly unhinged Edna & her subconsciously animated and talking stuffed rabbit make a great duo. Both are very well voiced and grow on you as you play. The story has just enough mystery and suspense to keep you hooked and eager to see edna escape and discover the true nature of her incarceration at the mental hospital. It takes a surprisingly dark turn at the end but it makes it all the more emotionally compelling and interesting. The game itself is classic point and click adventure. The UI has been updated from the pc version, making the transition to the iPad faithfully yet improved. All options (use, talk to, pick up, etc.) are now mapped directly around the object your tapping on, making a faster and more friendly control interface. My only complaint is that using items requires you to open your bag, select an item,close your bag, then drag the item to whatever you want to use it on or combine with. Too many needless steps, but I got used to it. A tutorial in the beginning would have helped greatly as you are left to simply tap on things and figure it out yourself. Took me awhile to figure out how to do something as simple as using an item. As for the puzzles, most of them are fairly logical and are great fun to figure out. A few puzzles are downright evil and will almost require a walk through to solve. One was because of a cultural identifier, a "WC" or "Water Closet". In America we call it the bathroom, in Germany (where the game was made) it's "water closet". Why is this important? One puzzle requires you to make a guard who is watching a series of monitors feel the urgent need to use the bathroom. You do this by closely observing the monitors and realizing you can spell out the letters "WC" by turning the lights on and off in certain rooms throughout the facility so the monitors light up and spell out "WC". I NEVER would have solved that on my own simply because "WC" doesn't mean "bathroom" to me. None of this dampens the fun or the story too much. You'll meet a great cast of eccentric characters, plenty of off the wall humor and fourth wall breaking gags, and a surprisingly touching and emotionally moving story in the midst of it all. This is well worth the price, pick up the game and surprise yourself..Version: 1.0
✓ No bugs..... just stoopid players including me!😝Well I couldn’t stab the foot with the knife and after consulting a web page and also the reviews for this game was told it was an unpassable glitch. So after really enjoying this game I was gutted as I put it away and spent the next month thinking that was that. Today I try again no luck but in a last minute decision I tried out another walkthrough, this one was different and mentioned changing menu choices.... I couldn’t believe it when it worked. Things need to be done in the right order there are no glitches! I feel very foolish as I nearly dumped a great game while moaning about developers for nothing!.Version: 1.2

✓ Brilliant gameThis is a very cool classical point and click adventure. The story is very original and the voices superb. It is a bit on the difficult side - there are many objects to investigate, one can combine virtually everything with everything else, so you need some concentration to play it. To be honest, I did sometimes use s walkthroguh when I got stuck. Somebody else criticized that there are too many "pointless" dialogues -- the dialogues are absolutely fun to listen too, for instance one can "use" Harvey with any other object and person and there is always something witty he has to say..Version: 1.1

✓ Very good gameThis is a really great puzzle-adventure game, and I've played most of them! iDevices were practically made for this type of gaming and the app store really needs more of them, especially of this caliber. Edna and Harvey easily justifies it's price. The game itself is very charming, with it's crazy and loveable cast. In places it is also very funny, with some great references to other classic adventure games, mainly Monkey Island. In terms of tone, it is similar to the aforementioned game, often breaking the fourth wall and making with puzzles ranging from logical to... creative. Having said that, Edna and Harvey is surprisingly dark in places and this contrast is very effective when it happens. The only place that this game really falls down is that it involves a lot of wandering around at times and getting around can be a long winded affair. This is doubly frustrating if you get stuck and the game would be enhanced by some sort of fast travel option in the later stages, even if it's only for places that you've already been to. All-in-all, I'm very glad I got this game, no qualms about the price and no bug or system issues. Hope to see more of the same from this developer!.Version: 1.1

✓ Fun little adventure, though some parts seem walkthrough-onlyThis is a classic adventure game in every respect, very long and well acted with a lot to explore and do, with great art to round it out. The biggest downside is that it's not very fair at all, lots of hair-pulling moments, but it's high quality, and while it does crash from time to time, the autosave always puts you right back where you left off, and I didn't run into any constant problems. It's chock-full of silly lines and sillier achievements, and basically 99% of every possible action is fully voice-acted by the main characters. There's hours of dialogue here! Unfortunately, after a while I started getting tired of Edna & Harvey's extremely dorky jokes, given how much there is to do and how long the game is. Like I said, you're in for lots of hair-pulling for puzzles that hardly make any sense. There are lots of fun little digs at classic adventure games and tropes, but nearly every other puzzle is a stumper, making this a game that falls squarely into the same tropes. I still look forward to the next games, because I had fun despite it all..Version: 1.1

✓ SurprisingGreat app! Look below its unpolished surface (graphically, spelling, synching, and occasional German screens) and you'll find a VERY comprehensive interactive experience. I have never come across an adventure game where u can combine anything with anything and have near 100% different feedback each time. All voiced!! My God this would've taken years to map, write, and speak all of it. The graphics are pretty shabby (glitches here and there) but its heart is pure adventure and its refreshing to find a developer who has thrown our unconconsious preference of style over substance out the window and over a cliff in preference to the meat of adventure which I hadn't seen since the flexibility of "Labyrinth" on Commodore 64. The story is very compelling too- it's no children's adventure especially in the last act after the "breakout". The voices are surprisingly suited even though they don't match the subtitles exactly all the time. Game is a real mix of brilliance and half-hazardness- it has to be played to be understood. Stick with it it's worth the journey..Version: 1.1
