✓ We need an update plzOne issue, after downloading a video from YouTube im have to close the app and start over to download another video, if i just go back to YouTube the download button doesn’t work anymore unless I close the app and start over again. That’s it thanks.Version: 3.4.7

✓ Amazing pitch shifting power & pitch detection.This app is really the best you'll find for changing the pitch of male and female voices without losing their original quality. It's really difficult to keep a male voice sounding male when you shift the pitch up dramatically, and the same can be said for detuning the female voice. This app has a lot of power. The other feature of this app that I find invaluable is the pitch and chord detection, it really is very accurate, and it does it with videos. You just load your favorite music clip into this app and you can pause it and point to anywhere on the wave and it will tell you what the chord is, or most likely chord in some cases, but you can also see the video footage at the same time. It's perfect for working out the riffs of your favorite musicians, especially their live stuff. This is a very useful app with a lot of power..Version: 2.1.0

✓ Very usefulI use the app to analyze and slow down big band arrangements to learn my part. I have found recordings of the right arrangements on YouTube: This app will analyze the audio and allow me to slow it down and loop sections so I can learn them. Lately YouTube changed something on their site and this capability to extract and analyze the audio of videos was lost. The developer responded quickly to my question and said they need to revise the app to restore the youtube audio analysis function. I hope the upgrade happens soon..Version: 3.2.4
✓ Top 10 Essential App for meThere’s a lot this app can do outside of its intended purposes. The timestretch algorythm is supergood, I use it to stretch audio files sometimes. ✓ Fee Nom EE Nahl !!!!!This app works amazingly well. I haven't tried the video yet, but for audio it's flawless. I needed a section of a song slowed down a bit. I cut that section out of Multitrack, imported to Beat Time. And slowed the section down to where it sounded good. Imported it back to Multitrack, lined the section up where I cut it out. Put in some fades. Sounds decent. Also, I received an email back in less than 12 hours. Great support, amazing app!.Version: 2.3.0
✓ Brilliant AppLoving this app, Beat Time Pro is perfect for on the fly looping of audio and (this is the really clever part) video too. The timestretch algo is pretty amazing seeing it only has the iOS device to power it. Things I would like too see in an update. 1.Sonoma Audio Copy/Paste 2.Save loop markers with referenced file, ie set up loop points in a track then save just a referenced file. 3.normalize or gain for looped sections..Version: 2.1.0

✓ Excellent. Does what it saysSo you want to checkout a video on YouTube, Dropbox or elsewhere. Open Beat Time, load up the video, add mark points, select a portion or the entire video. Loop, time stretch etc. Then export the video. Open it in other Apps or share. As a musician, I can't praise this App enough. ✓ Excellent utilityHaving stumbled through this with little or no help, guides or videos etc, I now can’t understand the distinct lack of awareness of this utility. There’s nothing on Google, YouPube videos or anything about this outside of the App itself - however; this has the most incredible algorithm of any similar utility I’ve ever used; it’s quite remarkable just how much you can alter the speed or pitch whilst retaining the original audio fidelity - then exporting files or selected areas makes it an invaluable resource for finding progressions as both single-notes and backing chords, and it also detects chords outside of the standard chromatic scale. Aug 2021 Tried again after update and seems to work correctly again. ———————————————————————————————— When it worked, it was great, but I’ve been trying it for a couple of weeks and it no longer downloads YouTube video’s. ✓ Great Tool for Musicians and Music TeachersThis app has been a life saver. I am a guitar instructor and my students ask me for all kinds of different songs. With Beat Time, I can not only slow down songs from my library, but I can look up the songs I do not have on YouTube and slow them down too. This allows my students to practice a song with the original recording, but do so at a speed that is more manageable than would otherwise be possible. It also allows me to adjust the pitch so that I can avoid de-tuning my guitar for songs that are in alternate tunings, which saves a lot of time. Also, when YouTube changed their format for some of their videos, the developer went above and beyond to make sure that this app was up to date and working properly, responding directly to an email I sent him. I have looked every where to find the app that can change the pitch of the audio in videos without having to tune down my guitar strings ( there are lots of apps for audio only) and this is IT. ✓ Very useful app for learning guitar partsAugust 7, 2021: The app is currently locking up when trying to download Youtube video. A message “Preparing for Playback in Beat Time” is stuck on the screen. Hopefully the developer will fix this soon. Its a great app otherwise. Once new feature I’d like to see is better book mark management: like a title bar on the left where you could create labels to facilitate jumping to portions of a video or looping to practices specific pieces from a video.Version: 3.4.5
