✓ Horrid, Please Fix!I rate it 1 star. So basically I play online flash games. I recently tried to play one called MovieStarPlanet (this does it with everything I try to load on puffin). So it just comes up with a blank screen, sometimes, if I'm lucky, it will work. However, most of the time it really doesn't, it worked like a charm before so I don't know what happened. It may have been that update. It also says (if I'm on 4G) "No Network" and I know I have network because I have over 9 GB for my 4G. So I don't know what happening so please fix this!.Version: 5.2.2
✓ Crashes and lags my phoneThe app itself is fine, it has up-to-date flash and is really fast, but it always makes my phone lag and crash. I know that it is this app, because once i deleted it my phone went completely back to normal, and only when I had downloaded it again had the same problems started. ✓ BuggyAlthough puffin is the best browser i have seen for flash games on the ipad it is definitely buggy this past month or so. There must have been an update and since the i have had all sorts of problems with it. First of all some new pop up when you try to play yoworld on facebook, it says true, under that leave and under that stay on this page. It's incredibly annoying to have to click on that every single time i try to do anything on the game. Worse yet it started freezing constantly whch means constantly refreshing and having to click on that pop up again and again. I keep getting nothing but a white screen, the log off button won't fully open without refreshing several times. I've deleted the browser and reloaded it a few times to no avail. Up to 4-6 weeks ago I'd have given it 5 stars but not until they fix this bug. I don't play any other facebook games so don't know if there are problems with other games. These issues seem to be unique to facebook. However like i said so far i haven't been able to find another browser that really works for flash games on the ipad..Version: 5.2.2
✓ Almost there!This browser has potential! However there are a few issues. I can access the kids fav flash sites like Nick jr, Disney etc but they run choppy. Can't access TVNZ on demand content because the browser thinks I'm not in New Zealander (which I am!)..Version: 2.2.6

✓ This version crashes with iOS 9.1Puffin Free used to be a great browsing experience on the iPad since it can emulate a desktop browser. However, since I've updated both the browser app and iOS, Puffin Free freezes frequently. It really needs an update to address the freezing issue, can hardly scroll down a page without a freeze and needing to re-start the app. Don't know what you did to update it for iOS 9, but it wasn't enough. ETA: Reloads pages constantly, hard to use it to read any sites with large paragraphs of text because every time an ad or takeover or whatever loads in the background, the entire page reloads. One page can load 20 times and you still can't see what you're trying to read on that page. i am about ready to delete this app. If any other browser had a setting to show the desktop site by default instead of selecting it each time, this app would be gone from my iPad. ETA: I have had issues with the Puffin Free browser, but the developers have been very responsive to emails. I will really miss the browser and wish it were not being discontinued. No other iOS browser will open in desktop mode, a setting that Safari should have. RIP, Puffin..Version: 5.2.2

✓ Connectivity issuesI tried to view a page with a lot of screen caps (pictures) from a tv show I watch but unfortunately the connection kept dropping out and the page kept refreshing. I don't have this issue with Safari. I'm not sure if it's deliberately doing that as the description says it limits use to keep costs down but it's very annoying and ruins my experience. If that's fixed I'd definitely rate this four or five stars and buy the full version..Version: 2.0.3
✓ No longer fast or reliableI was a big fan of Puffin Browser when I first found it in 2019. It made my old iPad still usable – indeed, fast and efficient for Web browsing and editing. I still like its user interface, but that speed is long gone; support for various scripts keeps dropping away; and now I keep getting "Waiting for reconnection", and when it reconnects it loses the edit I was making. Sorry to leave, but after three years of paying for a browser (first time I ever did that), I will be cancelling my subs..Version: 5.2.6
✓ Wiped itself!Always been fine, a lil laggy now and then but as long as i didn't go on stupidly big websites it was chill. Facebook rarely works but it was no big deal Today i went on, all fine and then suddenly the entire app crashed and closed itself(no trigger). Fair enough, happens once in a while. ✓ AnnoyingThis app would be good if it were not for the glitches. Some text is bigger than others when I am reading a story online, which gets VERY irritating. Puffin always asks me to save my password or update my password but it never stores it, and I have to type everything in manually every time. It also frequently logs me out of websites when I should stay logged in always. Not worth downloading unless your willing to put up with many annoyances. I don't recommend it..Version: 4.5.0
✓ The Flash feature is BUGGYEvery time I use the adobe flash feature on Puffin Browser, I always know that it's going to either crash or freeze when I first start using it. When I reload the page it's fine it starts working properly but literally EVERYTIME I use it, it's going to seem fine, but about 10 minutes in and it will crash and I'll have to reload the page for it to start working properly without crashing. Normally this wouldn't be problem, but when I'm playing a online MMO flash game and it crashes before I save my progress, it really makes me rage at my phone. Normally I'd just forget this app and download another app with the adobe flash feature on it, but there isn't one to my knowledge. So I'm stuck with browser, where when I do something that involves adobe flash and cause it to lag and then freeze up. It's a real pain to deal with because I use this app to play flash games on a cool website, but I always expect it to crash, because it does. Oh btw It's a good browser when your not using the adobe flash feature on it, but I'd recommend Google Chrome if you want a really fast browser..Version: 5.2.2

Sure it’s fast for getting onto Google and bring up search results but from there it isn’t fast for getting onto other websites, and therefore making it unresponsive. ✓ Worked well to begin with...I downloaded this app to play an online game and it worked great! Fast, no lag and great quality graphics. I logged on today and it came up with a 'no connection sign' which was odd because I had full bars of wifi! I even downloaded the app again and the same error occurred. I read some of the reviews and I've seen that some people have had this issue since DECEMBER, so they obviously don't feel the need to improve it. ✓ Waste of money for my iPad :(I purchased this app, because it was meant to load the address book in my Vodafone NZ webmail. Initially it did and worked well, but for a long time it keeps malfunctioning. 1- Address book does not load 2- Pages download SLOW and letters are missing , often need to refresh to get it to load correctly. 3- "support" is poor to say the least. E mails just go unanswered. 4- Random crashes Is another issue. This app does not do, what it's meant to, it was a complete waste of money. I have closed all open apps, cleared cookies etc, and have plenty memory left, so they are definitely not the issue..Version: 3.0.4

But any longer than that and you risk a network reconnection and the browser refreshing which can be a monumental pain if you’re playing a flash game for example. ✓ Great, but laggy..Puffin is great, it lets you play games without having adobe flash player, so why am I rating this 2 stars? There is MAJOR lag, I keep on refreshing and it still won't work. So it makes me go to settings and fix the network, even though nothing is wrong with it. Once I go to a game, it freezes. I'm not okay with this, I use this app almost every day, but I need to put my foot down. The lag is enough, I'm getting very sick of it and I'm starting to use my computer more often. ✓ FrustratingThe lag is So BAD that it kept reloading my games every 5 mins due to the lag and it was so annoying and it wouldn't respond to my taps unless I tapped like mad, you need to sort out the lag because that's why you keep having to reload the servers to get rid of the lag but it doesn't actually work and it's frustrating when it keeps reloading.
