✓ Still can't gig with appThis app seems to work but I don't like the soundfont used. But that is not the fault of the app developer. My midifiles sound very musical through a Roland Sound Canvas, or even other virtual sounds such as with Windows or Mac OS. but with these sound fonts, they sound cheesy. The drums do not recognise program changes for brushes. Also, the drums have not assigned samples to some notes I use for my click. Unfortunately, I cannot gig with this app..Version: 3.2.1
✓ Unacceptable in app purchase of full versionIn app purchase for full version appeared after a short tim and did not have a cancel button. I pressed OK expecting to see a password/cancel prompt that did not appear - just a declaration that I had paid £10.49 for the full version. I immediately quit and uninstalled the application in the hope of not being billed for the item (causing me some distress, annoyance and inconvenience). At the time of writing no in app purchase has appeared on my account and I hope that this continues to be the case! This software, due to its unacceptable use of in app purchasing, falls very short of any notion I have of an acceptable standard. I am surprised to see Sweet MISI Player by Roni Music has passed Apple's app review process..Version: 1.5

✓ OK but very expensiveSeems like an OK player but the free version only play part of a midi file. A dubious looking in app purchase to a working player is over £10. If developer was more up front about this, and lowered the price to something more reasonable it would be worth it. As it stands it is just too expensive. ✓ Doesn’t work on iPhoneA friend told me about the app so I downloaded it to my phone and tried repeatedly to upgrade to the pay version so I could play my entire midi files but could not find a way to get it done. I finally tried it on my iPad and found out the problem was that the settings button does not display on my phone. I paid for the full version and downloaded all my files. I went back to my phone hoping everything would be there because my iPad and phone are on the same account. But nothing was there and my phone still had the free version. I opened and closed the app and even redownloaded it so it would reset and transferred all my files but had to do them manually. I finally got a link to upgrade to the paid version but was expected to pay a second time so I declined..Version: 4.4.5

However, if you're looking for a simple free MIDI player this isn't it because it only plays 3/4 of the song. ✓ Sweet Midi?I find it very annoying that the "free" apps don't tell you the restrictions before you load them. This player appears to work pretty well and supports Dropbox but only plays 3/4 of the file in the free version. $14.99 seems to be a lot for what it does, so I won't be giving it space on my iPad. ✓ Very, very simple MIDI playerThis is about as basic as you can get with MIDI. There's no note editing, although if you're really desperate, you can fiddle with some control messages. File handling is so rudimentary, you don't actually need the keyboard - for anything. File import and export is done via iTunes only. It even has that wonderful tacky synthesised MIDI sound! Great if you want to stuff around with MIDI and you don't know what MIDI is for, and extremely simple to use. But don't even THINK about using it for anything serious..Version: 1.2.0

✓ Great app if you want to pay $14.99Don't pay attention to the word "free" - it should be called "trial". The free version is not really usable as it constantly puts a message on your screen saying you should upgrade and then that freezes the app so you can't access any controls. Looks like it could be a good app for someone who is serious about working with midi files but it's not good if you just need to listen to the occasional midi off the Internet..Version: 1.3.1
