✓ Works fine mostlyIt works not unstable no glitches. I think it would be worth five stars if the following issues were fixed. It is potentially quite a useful little app. 1. Spelling mistakes 2. I think the auto gain feature is a good idea . Its just that this feature doesn't work . 3. It would be good if you could add your own light sources . Since you can buy bulbs with known lux output and temperature. 4. Most importantly The calibration procedure needs to be explained completely in a step by step fashion . There is all this functionality that you cannot use. Where do you put the phone in relation to the light source. What is the meaning of compensation , linear and offset. I am guessing that it specifys a straight line relationship ? Much better than a multiplier on its own.Version: 2.5.1

✓ Great, but doesn’t work.While this app seems great, it is doesn’t give good data. The interface is beautiful, but it just doesn’t work. When trying to check color temperature of a light bulb, where is it measuring, whole screen or just a spot? We need a circle in the middle to indicate what is being measured. For extra credit, make the circle size changeable. No matter whether I’m far or close to a light bulb, the reported color temperature is way off. A 5000°k reported around 4000°, and a 2700° was reporting 5000°. So the resultant data looks totally random. I did not attempt to figure the lux output of any lamps..Version: 6.0.0

✓ Not a Lux meterThis app works like a luminance meter rather than illuminance meter. It doesn't measure amount of light that falls on the camera but rather the amount of light that is reflected of a surface. That is NOT lux, that should be in cd/m2. This tool might measure the output of light from a direct source verifying lumens or measure light that is reflected from a surface, but neither is an accurate measurement of lux..Version: 2.4
