✓ Excellent app, turns your iPhone into a sound stethoscope of sortsIf you need to listen to something that is low in volume and amplify it in your headset, this is a great solution. I had a problem where a device emitted a sound I needed to hear but was across the bench from me and had a low volume. I read of another person who listened to faint car noises while troubleshooting. Either way, position the top of your iPhone microphone by the source of sound you want to head and plug in your headsets. Select the iPhone microphone within the app. It worked for me for both Bluetooth and wired headset on an iPhone 6s plus. Sometimes the app gets confused when you plug/unplug/disconnect Bluetooth. In that case I close the app using the iPhone app menu and then start again. It’s great to have a solution for this problem, it has saved me a good deal of footwork.
