✓ Works greatIt works great at least when a headphone (rather than a loudspeaker) is plugged in. nice and clear and abusolutely without noise. if you connect it to a loudspeaker and it squeeches maybe your iPhone is too close to the speaker. I'm having good results with this as a language learning tool. it amplifies my own voice into the headphones as I speak, and now I have a much easier time catching my mispronunciations and accents that would otherwise get neglected..Version: 1.2

✓ This app is awesomeI've read some reviews and started laughing when I read that this app won't play back someone's recording. Obviously that person didn't read the description or just doesn't know how to use modern age technology. How to use this app: connect your Idevice to your stereo system via auxiliary cable, fm transmitter, or any other way you play play music off of an Idevice on a stereo. Turn on your stereo. Launch the application, than press the middle button until it turns the color blue. Now speak to your Idevice. It should amplify your voice through the stereo speakers. If you need further assistance...use google, it is your friend. As for the app...I like it. It has a very clean, simple design and works great..Version: 1.2

✓ Works as expected - good appI tried all the other microphone apps and couldn't get them to work as advertised. This one did on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 with iOS 7. ✓ Pretty good, considering the platformIPhone microphone really isn't that great to begin with, at least not with HD Highs and Lows. It mostly is good for picking up Mids, but it's relatively inexpensive, and the interface is exceedingly straightforward. There can be a lot of interfering feedback when you're close to the speakers, so watch out for that. I'd give it 5 stars if it had some sort of delay/feedback eliminator..Version: 1.3

We don't have a pa system only a battery operated ipod dock with aux input. And we do not have access to power. After scouring the Internet for options (most ranging from $100 to $300) I found this app for $.99. Tested it last night and it works perfect! ✓ Excellent app, turns your iPhone into a sound stethoscope of sortsIf you need to listen to something that is low in volume and amplify it in your headset, this is a great solution. I had a problem where a device emitted a sound I needed to hear but was across the bench from me and had a low volume. I read of another person who listened to faint car noises while troubleshooting. Either way, position the top of your iPhone microphone by the source of sound you want to head and plug in your headsets. Select the iPhone microphone within the app. It worked for me for both Bluetooth and wired headset on an iPhone 6s plus. Sometimes the app gets confused when you plug/unplug/disconnect Bluetooth. In that case I close the app using the iPhone app menu and then start again. It’s great to have a solution for this problem, it has saved me a good deal of footwork. Thanks to the developer for building and maintaining this app..Version: 3.0
