✓ Developer slow to respondAm liking this app so far and give it points for its integration of reminders and its calendar views. Am only trialing the free version so far and it is not alerting me of upcoming events. Have emailed the developer but got a response that didn’t address the issue. Have emailed again but haven’t got a response after 5 days. I would like to see the alert options like snooze etc but am hesitant spending $15 when I don’t have the full picture in relation to this apps capabilities and the developers support in a responsive manner. ✓ Unreliable deletes your data without warning!Don’t use this app! It will completely delete all of your data without warning even though you have specified in settings to keep all events AND backed up with iCloud - not able to upload from iCloud so far. Absolutely useless..Version: 5.17

I love google calendar because I can have multiple alarms for the same event (a month before the wedding anniversary, 2 weeks before, 3 days before and on the very day!) However, this last yr, they started Awesome Calendar 2 & everytime I open the app there is a popup for the new calendar. I looked into the new calendar. I do jot like the new calendar. I have been using this one & don’t want to change! This app doesn’t care about that though. They keep sending this pop up everytime I open the app. I can’t see my calendar right away, because when i try to click the X, it takes me to the Calendar 2 download… Almost everyyyy time! ✓ What happened to my Apple Watch Complication?!I rely VERY heavily on the Awesome Cal to run my life. It is the only Calendar is use. For some reason, however, my the complication for my Apple Watch suddenly disappeared. I’ve been using the complication for the past two years to provide me with alerts and info about my next meeting. Suddenly, today, it disappeared off my watch entirely. I have scoured the app stores and google and cannot find ANY information regarding this. Again, this is the ONLY calendar app I use, so what is going on? Changing this is so unbelievably disruptive. ✓ Do NOT Get this Calendar!I have had this calendar app for many years- maybe 10?- and loved it…until now. The calendar itself is a great calendar with reminders, color coding, etc but the ads are now unbearable! It used to be the bottom add only, then an occasional ad popped up and you had to wait a few seconds until it ended or you could exit out. Now a full ad-20-25 seconds with NO EXITING!! You have to wait through an ad EVERY TIME now! It is very frustrating and extremely inconvenient: “Oh, I’m sorry doctor, can you wait until my ad plays before I can look at my calendar?!” ARE UOU KIDDING ME??!! I refuse to get the new version for fear it has the same issues. I’m no longer going to use this calendar and am on the search for a newer, better one. ✓ Beautiful but terribly flawed UII downloaded this app to both my iPad and iPhone, intending to upgrade to the paid version. Sadly, I will not being doing so, and have removed it from both devices. The app is very well designed and looks stunning, with lots of functionality. I was impressed with screen shots and the feature list. BUT The UI is sluggish to the point of being unuseable. A press or swipe takes over a second to register, whilst sound effects comically play some time before the associated animation processes. This lack of response w as the same on the iPhone 4s and the iPad 2. If the UI slowness was corrected, this would be a premier app for the iPhone, and hold its head up for the iPad. ✓ Great calendar app but ads are terribleI have used this app for well over a year. The ads continue to get worse. Every time you open the app you will get a video ad that you have to let play most of the way through before being able to X out of it, which includes loud sound. This is terrible when trying to immediately plan something or would be awful if in a business setting as most of the ads are for games and include sound. The ads pop up first thing and then randomly when you are trying to use the app. I love how easy the calendar is to use. I had no trouble syncing my calendar and it is very user friendly. I love all the different settings. ✓ Lacks calendar functionalityFor me this is a no no. Tried a shed load of calendars now and I really didn't like this, very dull washed out appearance making it hard to distinguish the event colours. Also a total lack of configuration options, stuff I would expect to see as standard like default event alarms and duration. (update) Recent update has improved the appearance of the calendar but it still misses the essential ability to customise the default event duration, and alarms. In fact it only let's you add one alarm to the event which is quite poor really. The stock iOS calendar is actually better than this for event creation. For a calendar app to be useful it's got to be better than that, and not just look pretty. It does have a better view of events in the calendar than the stock iPhone calendar but not better than the stock iPad calendar. Still 2🌟 from me.Version: 1.5

Usually I scroll past the random ads of no interest, yet there are certain visuals that are too graphic for my preference. Note: closing all my windows & clearing my browsing data did nothing to resolve this issue. Fortunately, deleting this app solved my problem. Seems to have lots of functions but main reason for low rating is: 1) Only syncs with main gmail calendar, does not recognize multi calendars you may have on google. ✓ Deleted all calendars data!Playing around within this app I deleted some options that mentioned syncing. It seems that also allowed data to be deleted, not just within the app, but off my iPhone (and the usual basic iCal phone calendar) too. My "old" calendar is blank and now when an event is added to either calendar they now sync. ✓ Search no longer worksThe only reason I got this app is to search my calendar for past events. This used to work. It no longer does. It now searches only a few months back and no matter how much I pull on the list, it does not search further into the past. Not sure which update removed that feature, but it was the only useful feature for me. Totally useless now..Version: 4.2.1
✓ Use to love this appRecently found that ALL my notes and important info has been wiped out!! I don't know why but it's caused a disaster for me. I put very important info and reminders in this calendar and now for some reason it's gone!! Not happy at all!!.Version: 5.3.2
✓ DisappointingI don't like the idea of having to pay a fee for each entry I make. Also, the white lettering on light-coloured backgrounds is almost invisible. Sure, I can change the background to a darker more contrasted background, but why should I have to? It'll only look hideous on the calendars on my other devices (iPhone, laptop etc) for which these particular background colours were originally chosen. Why not offer the option to use black lettering instead? If it's there already I can't see it. Deleted..Version: 2.1.2

✓ Good but can't stand the pop up adsI can see the daily to-do lists with colour coded blocks over a whole month which is excellent. But the pop up ads every single time I open the app is simply unbearable..Version: 5.5
