✓ Really great app--wish it was the right dialect!!I've been browsing many Arabic apps and this was the most fun and helpful of all of them. I love the quiz mode because you get to record yourself and compare it to the instructor. I also like that you can exclude words since my boyfriend has pointed out some differences in the dialect and usage of certain words (his family is from Syria), so I do have to check with him when learning words. ✓ So far so goodI've been using this for about three weeks and I've been picking he words up pretty fast, and there aren't any random pop up ads to annoy. It's just a good help on learning some basic Arabic. The only problem is you're learning how to say it as it's written, not as spoken, (as Arabic is spoken the way you say words are different than the way you read words) which is why it's four stars instead of five, but otherwise it's really good!.Version: 5.3.3

But I additionally collect the words and phrases in a Windows WORD table, together with written phonetics, so that after they have left the scene, I can still reiterate them, if I need to. ✓ At my speedI have used this app for about a week now. I like that I can focus on five or six words, ones most used and most useful in conversation. I like it shows me the Arabic spelling as well as hearing the word spoken because what my English speakers ears hear might not be the true pronunciation.. so seeing thr written as well as hearing the spoken is very helpful. ✓ Great, but missing alphabet.I absolutely adore this app. My only problem with it is that I have to use another app to look at the alphabet characters separately so that I can try to distinguish them. Because the words are written in a connected or cursive fashion in this app it's very hard for me to distinguish characters at times. So I have to go to another app to try to draw comparisons of what letter I am looking at what I see it in a word here. Using this app prevents me from having to rely on my friend all the time to ask questions.
