✓ Couldn’t find a better app to learn Finnish!!Many language apps are overly complicated but Nemo have stripped all that away to deliver a simple but sophisticated application. If I am with someone speaking Finnish I am able to quickly search up a word or phrase (in Finnish or English) for effortless communication. I enjoy being able to pick as many or as little words to learn a day as I like as well. Thanks to the developers for allowing this app to be available to us!.Version: 5.8.0
✓ Good for basics, lacks alphabetThis app has an easy to navigate menu with multiple ways to interact - listening, recording voice for comparison and playback, and list compilations for situations/“essential” words. I use it on iOS via iPad and phone and the interface is well-refined for both. I am also most fortunate in that I have a Finnish gf who helps me along. My wish is that the alphabet would be included to establish basic soundings and potential inflections. At present, there are many resources for this on the net; it would just be more convenient to include it here.Version: 5.8.0

Overall I am happy with the app. However, one respect in which it falls short is that you cannot add your own words. Not only does this teach me words, it teaches me how to pronounce the accent and gives me a chance to learn more. The setup is fun and has several different levels and words! Totally forgot to mention that the voice pronouncing the words is far from a boring robot voice. The voice is actually like a human voice and is much more useful than the English to Finish translator. I can’t wait to show my new finish skills to my finish relatives! I downloaded six different programs and this has been the best by far. The great thing is that my Bluetooth vehicle with heads up display can play it and I can repeat along and see the words on my windshield!
