✓ Great startThis app is a great start to learn basic Greek. I’ve found no way to ‘favorite’ the words you want to focus on learning. The only method I’ve found is to decrease the temperature of all OTHER words so they appear less often in rotation which feels backwards. I also wish I could ‘link’ words to always practice them together (for example hello and goodbye, yes and no, good and bad), I’ve found it easier to remember those types of words (opposites) when learning them at the same time. ✓ A fun way to learn.From a beginner to a believer in just a couple of weeks. The stage of learning suits me just fine. A few words a day and hey presto your away on your journey to Greece armed with enough vocabulary to order dinner, a beer or 2 and get by with a few pleasantries along the way. If I stick at this for a few minutes a day I reckon I'll be confident albeit slow when I get to Corfu. The only thing I would highly suggest is to some how mark a word when you miss it or can’t remember it so it doesn’t go down a heat level. ✓ Fantastic App! Well Pleased!I tried a few Greek language apps prior to going away and kept coming back to this one. I didn't upgrade until I was a week into my 4th Greek holiday and I must says it has been fantastic. Even the basic free command section is enough to get you interacting with confidence and I sucked up the language enough to want to upgrade to further my language. It has been invaluable - so intuitive and well put together. The locals love the fact that I am communicating and at least giving it a fair go ... I'd rather try and fail now and then than be a typical lazy Brit expecting others to understand me in their country. Well done guys - very pleased. ✓ Better than other appsI’ve been using Nemo Greek for several weeks and found I could progress faster with the Player and reversible Flash Cards features than I could with Duo Lingo (which had problems with recognizing my Greek inputs by key and voice on iOS). Nemo Greek is inherently motivating because I’m able to move ahead and view my stats across several simple metrics. I got quite far on the free program and then bought additional content. I was never motivated buy more on Duo Lingo even though they kill you with ads and invitations to upgrade to the subscription every few minutes..Version: 5.8.0

My only complaint is that: having recently returned from Greece, some of the phrases are not really used the way they present them. I have been able to learn words quickly and grasp a little understanding in a very short time. I was using the light version but after I saw it’s potential, I made the full purchase which in my view was so cheap (£9.99) for what you actually receive. As many reviews on here say ‘you have to put the work in to get results’, I agree, but it is great fun in the process. It is essentially a very good "flash card" app with crisp, clear audio. Some thought has clearly gone into the order that words are introduced, but if you disagree you can simply add words of your own choosing. One word of warning: this app does not "teach" you greek. There are no lessons on grammar or sentence structure here, but there are plenty of free resources on the web that do this. ✓ FantasticCan’t thank you enough for developing this app. Greek is a language I have longed to learn but have found it very difficult to find anyone who can teach it either through a college course or an app. I love that I can develop my vocabulary and that I can listen to it as I am going about my daily business. I knew a handful of words before but I am now building on my existing knowledge. I like that not only can you hear and say it, you can also visualise the words hopefully developing the ability to read and write with time. The only improvement could be that it includes grammar and sentence structure. As my knowledge is building I can construct a sentence but not sure if it makes sense in Greek.. ✓ A valuable app that helps a lotThis is a good free app, I've paid the £9.99 for the full version and it's reasonable value. The setting menu allows for a number of learning strategies, the accents are clear and I like the ability to control the speed of introduction to new words. The main improvement would be the number of words which at 1200 is not many for the price and this leads to a number of obvious words to learn not being included..Version: 5.3.3

✓ English voiceThe app was fantastic. Out of all the learn Greek apps out there it was the best by far. In a recent update the English voice turned from pleasing to Steven Hawking’s voice. If you don't know the word well you can review it multiple times!! I love this app and I use it everyday. You do have to buy the full version after you learn all the words on the free version. ✓ Amazing but..I love the nemo Greek app, I've been using it for two months and I've learnt so much Greek, I think anyone who is trying to learn a new language and wants to learn fast should use this app on a daily basis, you can listen to it while your out and about and along with music from another app... It's amazing! The only thing is I cannot create an account so when I go from my iPad to my phone I listen to the same things over and over...
