✓ Latest update not sure I like new compassJust updated one of my phones to v7.8.0 from a much earlier one. The latest ver uses a bit more colour in its display. Not sure I like the new red and green numeric N00.0 and S179.8 in the large compass display - would prefer more discrete option or click again to cycle them off. So 3 states off, on, on-numeric..Version: 7.8.0

✓ Little gold mineJust what I was looking for. I have maps of Gran canaria, which are in UNC cords. Which didn't mean much to me because I know only English ordnance survey grid. But my very basic Garmin sat nav, eTrex , (no numbers, just the basic 5 year old etrex) was able to be set to read my position in UTC. I checked my own Uk position and got 100 percent agreement with the cords given by this app. I can now use my sat nav and " KOMPASS" Gran Canaria map to find my position to better than 100 metres. ( 50,000 scale).Saves a lot of time and money buying more expensive GPS indicators. Good to have this as backup on walks cos not a lot around for Gran Canaria..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Fun for small time hikesThis app is great small time hikes! It's perfect for getting longitude and latitude in emergencies and perfect for checking in with family and friends. If going on a hike it's smart to tell people where you are going (cause Murphy's law) cause "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong". Granted hopefully not to you but it helps people like me out (search and rescue) when I'm trying to locate people. The works great, and it's worth the download... As I never manually edited any figures don't really understand how this occurred but as I intend to use this in remote country it could have been a disaster... ✓ Does it have NavigationI’ve been using this app to mark precise GPS coordinates and for that it’s great but I’m confused. In the App Store the very first picture claims Navigation with information . I do not see a way to open Navigation and have the App start to navigate you to a GPS coordinate. Is the what you’re claiming and if that’s accurate how do you start navigating? I have not been able to match the screen that is the first picture in the App Store. ✓ Suggestion for the appGreat watch app. It’s Simple, open it up and see your location! But... It would be a top notch app if in the settings you could set a preferred mode to see your location in. For example, I would prefer to open the app up see my location in MGRS every time... And I’m sure there is some aviators and sea captains that would prefer so see longitude/latitude every time... Anyways I’m sure there are many users that agree, this app would be an easy 5 of 5 if there was a way to set a preference on location display mode. Oh and if I could put that in one of my watch complications... I would probably pay for that..Version: 3.6.1
