Secondly, nothing is fun in the game - it's just doing underdeveloped chores that really don't have many special effects or anything like that. ✓ Not the best game ever...First of all this game is WAY overpriced, 3.99 for a game? Wow! Second of all this game from my perspective is very boring it just repeats itself. I feel like I should be able to customise and choose people that get to stay in the house and there should be levels instead of just one big game and then a couple of mini games. Toca boca needs to step up their game. And third of all what would make it better is if I could put them to bed or make them eat not just do chores. ✓ The worst Toca Boca gameI love all of the other Toca Boca games, but this is very dull. As with all Toca Boca games, the presentation of Toca House is excellent but the activities are boring and repetitive. Do not buy. My 2 year old was bored in a minute. ✓ Great game from toca again!My 3 year old loves all the toca games and this one seems the best so far not sure how good it would be for a 6 year old as my three year old seemed to find it quite easy but it's got lots more content than all the other toca games and am very happy with the purchase..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Incredibly boringI bought this app for my 6 year old sister who winged and begged non stop because she wanted it. Biggest mistake ever. Even she admits its boring. Here's my advice to you: instead of forking out 2$ to do an imaginary family's chores, why not do your own chores for free. You'll end up with a cleaner house and cash in your pocket. ✓ Typical TOCAThis as with all their games is very limited in content and repeat poor ideas over and over again. This game is about as rubbish as they come and sums up everything that TOCA games are. The fact that they rate this game for 2-6 year olds is a joke! ✓ Cringe-worthyApart from the poor judgement to include this in the iTunes 12 Days app (reflected in the backfire of comments), this app is a perfect example of when it's best to put the iPad or iPhone down. This is not educational. I think it's great that the Toca group have been successful at bringing great illustrations to life, through some fun, simple children's games. However I find it cringe-worthy when the developers parade under the banner that they're teaching children, and helping parents talk about the difficult subject of tidying up (see the "For parents" button in the app). Toca House gives no real space for creativity. A two year-old still has an enormous amount to discover in the real and exciting world. This app is a few moments of distraction at best, but also a reminder of when developers get carried away with themselves, and forget that some things are better done when you put the phone or tablet down..Version: 1.0.6

✓ Really?This app compared to most $1.99 apps is pretty good but compared to the rest of the Toca portfolio, it really is disappointing. What happened to fantasy, imagination, muliti-player (huddleware) experience my kids have grown to love with Toca tea party, birthday, doctor, salon? There's way too much emphasis on cleaning. The characters aren't very loveable - my kids couldn't connect with any of them. They just aren't identifiable. No mom, dad, sister, brother, grandfather, grandmother, pet bird or dog. How about including activities that make players fix things like a lamp or the washer - GROW a garden rather than picking flowers and putting them in pots. Multi-step activities would greatly improve the app and adding surprise elements like receiving a phone call (ring ring in mid play) or a surprise guest stops by to borrow a cup of surgar??? I wanted to love this app - really! But Toca, you missed the mark with this one..Version: 1.0.1
