Didn't like the first couple i tried, but i can't stop playing this one! You just have to get 5 star rating in the game to be satisfied!!! Had a little technical hitch were it kept freezing but seems to have sorted itself out! Love the game & free atm! I don't know if you have worked it out yet but you have to go on foodcart tab thing (last/3rd tab on menu) and click to get green tick (I was playing and like you I was like humm that's odd were it the tip jar and I wasn't making anymore money/revenue, not realizing not only I had to buy it I had to click on it as well) hope this helps but you probs have worked it out for yourself already! Conceptually good. But nothing different to differentiate it from the other similar games out there. Tbh some even play better. This game requires lots of time to do simple things. It's took me an hour to do an upgrade to my cart, by some basic stuff like upgraded corn digs n cheese, and I'm still having to keep going to make money to get permits to move to the burbs. Where hopefully gameplay won't be as monotonal and boring as this becomes. There's no flair! No pizaz! Just needs somet like maybe a health inspector comedy style thing comingto check your cart randomly or satisfy a big order, or do something other than serve 3 people an hour (in-game time) to make 50 coins before the days end. Basically it's BORING!! Get a different game. I don't like slating people's hard work I know it's hard to app build but this needs more entertainment. There's not even a storyline. In fact I had it on my old iPad years ago and ever since it died I have not played it as it had faded from my memory. I recently felt like playing again and installed it on my new iPad, however I must say, I don’t remember the ads being so intrusive back then. I’m all for supporting the developers and have never mind an ad here or there, however once the ads become intrusive and hinder the gameplay it’s hard for me to support that game. I really want to support this developer as this game has given me hours of enjoyment in the past, but it’s really hard for me to play this game now without disabling my Internet. I’ve had ads pop up numerous times during the actual game and it really takes the fun out of it. I’ll give the game a 4/5 since it’s still more than playable with a disabled connection, but the intrusive ads are still a setback for me..Version: 1.8

A hint - to start with, for the money, pawn your toy collection. You get the most money besides a loan.
