✓ UsefulI think this app has some good features and can be useful if you need translation.Version: 2.20
✓ Voice too rapidThe voice is so rapid it is unintelligible and therefore worthless. There doesn't appear to be any setting to alleviate this problem. Without this adjustment the voice aspect is Just a waste. Too bad..Version: 2.0.4
✓ Ridiculous interpretationWhen a so-called translation program confuses the written word "died" with "dyed" it destroys any confidence one may have had in it. The sentence "my sister died" was translated as "my sister was dyed"!.Version: 2.20
✓ Save your moneyDidn't work. Took photo of menu in French - it took 2 minutes to "translate". When it did, talked about warfare & millimeters??? I want a refund. Shame. I wanted it to work..Version: 2.0.4
✓ Terrible!It often can't even make the translation. For example, if you type a word in English, it will show the same word in English under the French translation, and vice versa. And other times, its translation is wrong (I know enough French to know). It was just barely functional enough to be useful on a couple occasions, but I probably could have done just as well without it. In short, don't get this app!.Version: 1.0.4

✓ AVOID! Very poor translationsWow are the translations awful in this app. Huge waste of money. For example, "vide grenier" (a yard sale or tag sale) is translated as "gut a loft". It found that just about every other phrase i would enter while traveling would be equally poor..Version: 2.96
✓ Poor translatorI downloaded this because it was free for the day. My wife speaks French so i downloaded it to test the translating ability. Out of four translations it only got "help" correct. It couldn't translate "where is the toilet" or even "hello" correctly into French. I will be deleting straight away. It's a waste of space on my iPad..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Utterly uselessIt couldn't translate any photos I took of French. It doesn't have any pronunciation help (verbal or written) and it can't even translate simple things like y a from French to English. It was an absolute waste of money, time, and effort on my part. ✓ Not very intuitiveYou kindda have to know how the French language works to get the phrazing just so for a good translation. Even then it seems to pick alphabeticaly from a list of possible options rather than give the most commonly used (I would like = J'ai ressemble). ✓ Does't work-waste of moneyI have been trying to use this app in France for a couple of weeks. First off all the OCR( optical character recognition ) is hopeless. After taking a photo of French text this app has never correctly recognised even one word. It usually feeds back a garbage jumble of characters. Even more disappointingly it is also very bad at translating text when typed in. It usually returns nonsense. This app is a complete waste of money..Version: 2.0.4
