Music Tutor (Sight-reading) Pros

Basic & PracticalIf your trying to learn musical note reading this app is well worth the price. It offers both practice within the app and with a midi hookup as well. The ability to practice at ones own individual’s capabilities is always a big plus with me. This app is highly recommended..ThsinicknameistakenVersion: 3.18

Music Tutor (Sight-reading) Cons

Ads ads ads! This is a really good app, I’m not going to deny it and it does have a good range of things to practice, but the ads are too excessive, when you get into the zone and are just rolling with the notes an add pops up and kills the flow. It’s an add after every session and any time you click to something else boom another add. I’m not saying it’s a waste of time but it’s basically forcing you to pay to not have adds, even though they get plenty of add revenue..Blue CheetoooooooVersion: 3.17

Basic, but has loads of potential! The ability to monitor progress is great and tests feel like the perfect amount of time. Would love to see more variety in the testing; using different types of notes (crotchets, quavers, etc) to add a slight visual challenge; more guitar-based features like the ability to input notes on a fretboard (and within different positions); rhythm-based tesing (tap the rhythm to metronome); pitch-based testing for singers (sing the notes into the microphone)..LedzepRulzVersion: 3.12
