NoiceNoice.Version: 3.17

Buggy…Sound stopped working(even though it is enabled in options, phone volume turned up), exiting a session doesn’t work half the time..Version: 3.17

BadBoring not good for starting people.Version: 3.14

PlainteLe nom de la plie est en français mais tout est en anglais et il y a trop de pub et on se revoit max, en justice.Version: 3.17

Mr userHorrible app, too much ads on every single action.Version: 3.9.2

Miss McCarrisonIt’s a stupid app it is supposed to help you improve your sight reading but all it does is frustrate you it’s slow and stalls don’t bother with it..Version: 3.9.2

Paid for upgrade, still see adsI paid for the in app upgrade so I could stop seeing ads after every single game. I’ve played about ten games since then and still have to wait through five second ads over and over. It won’t let me use the contact us button and restore purchase does nothing. Why have an in app upgrade that doesn’t work right away? I could have just downloaded the plus version. I will change this review when I stop seeing ads..Version: 3.14

It doesn’t teach you anythingI would like it if it taught you the notes. I have to guess everything and I can’t learn it because it doesn’t teach me.Version: 3.12

Ads. Ads. Ads. And, yes, more adsAfter ever session you get ads. Don’t waste your time trying this one.Version: 3.17

MehI am trying to learn music notes and this doesn’t really help me because it just… expects me to know what the notes are. if it had a thing that helps you LEARN the notes i think that would be useful thanks.Version: 3.17

Ok. But higher/lower same letter notes should be pitched accordinglyIn the note reading tutor, notes that are written higher or lower on the staff inaccurately all sound the same when you select them, when in fact they are actually an octave up or down from a previous same letter note. It’s hard enough to get a student to comprehend why middle c looks different but sounds same in bass vs treble clef without confusing them further. I’d use this app during lessons if it weren’t for this flaw..Version: 3.14

ReviewDude this app is actual dog water. Get rid of the ads and ill give 5 stars.Version: 3.17

!@#%@?%*Trop de pub et lecture compliqué.Version: 3.20

PorogtyI loved it❤️.Version: 3.16.1

Needs an introI had hoped this app would do an introduction to reading the notes. Instead it just launches into random notes and expects you to find them without any training. I found the reference guides but without memorizing them they were really not useful. I will be deleting the app and looking for something more suitable for a complete beginner..Version: 3.12

Get the ad-free versionIt’s the best note-teaching app I’ve had, but I would have given it 5 stars if it didn’t have as much ads. Every time I do a session, once it finishes it gives me an ad. And it’s not like the ads have any variety either. They are all for “Simply Piano” or something like that. And this piano thing isn’t even an app that JSplash made. There are adds EVERYWHERE and I can’t get a break from them. Good app, though. Learned all the notes my teacher told me to learn in 10 minutes. Not bad of an app. It rarely glitches, too. It’s pretty nice. In conclusion, it’s a good app, but get the ad-free version..Version: 3.16.1

Good appGood to practice with.Version: 3.17

Good Concept BUT REALLY NEEDS BLUETOOTH MIDI SUPPORTI have been using this app a little bit, and it has been quite helpful. However, it would be far more helpful to me if I could connect it to my piano over Bluetooth. Thank you.Version: 3.13

GoodIt is good.Version: 3.12

3 starI downloaded to learn sight reading for my flute but it doesn’t teach you because it just gives you notes and doesn’t tell you what they are at the start.Version: 3.14

AdsToo many ads..Version: 3.20

BadThe adds are annoying.Version: 3.14

Have to keep reinstallingApp is great when it works but I have to uninstall and reinstall every day as it keeps freezing. I use the app every day and when returning to it the following day it’s frozen on the page I left it on the day before. iPad is up to date so isn’t a fault my end..Version: 3.20

BahOnly there for my music teacher.Version: 3.17

No landscape or grand stave support!?On an iPad, used on my piano stand it’s incredibly frustrating that the developer ignored apples guidelines and didn’t support all 4 orientations. There are huge areas of nil space, and on the first section which shows the notes on each of the 3 individual staves, the ui is so poor it doesn’t tell you you can scroll the stage to see all the notes, which in landscape you wouldn’t need to. Some skill has gone into this but the developer has no idea about UI/UX Design nor a valid reason to ignore guidelines about iPad apps supporting all 4 orientations.Version: 3.14

Useless unless you payFull screen pop up ads you cant cancel between every exercise makes free version totally unuseable. There are better options..Version: 3.17

Ads ads ads! This is a really good app, I’m not going to deny it and it does have a good range of things to practice, but the ads are too excessive, when you get into the zone and are just rolling with the notes an add pops up and kills the flow. It’s an add after every session and any time you click to something else boom another add. I’m not saying it’s a waste of time but it’s basically forcing you to pay to not have adds, even though they get plenty of add revenue..Version: 3.17

Poor quality appFor one thing it won't show you the mistakes you made and your response time if you do it without the time limit. Oh by the way, why does the time limit even exist? But since it does, why does it only allow you 3 preset time limits and not an arbitrary value? What if I want to practice for 15 minutes instead of 5? Can't do that. Then it will keep asking me to log into "game center". WHY? How is that game center supposed to help you learn? Then it wont work horizontally. Unclear why. All those things greatly diminish this app's educational value.Version: 3.9.10

RUBISH! DO NOT GETI have just started to play piano. And as soon as I click on start it shouts random notes at me! It is really stressful and isn’t for beginners! I pressed on every button to see if there was a thing for beginners but there wasn’t. If you want to learn paino for the first time do not use this!.Version: 3.17

Too many addsGood app, to many ads. You spend more time on the ads then on the actual app itself..Version: 3.9.10

We’re is the settingsI like it but no settings button.Version: 3.14

In spite of other reviewsI cannot give this app a good rating. It does not give you a grand staff option so notes are often falling on little lines drawn above or below and it just doesn’t give you a look that you will typically see when you play music. When you press a note, it makes the sound of the next note it would like you to press. This is just horrible for ear training and I’m flabbergasted that they have not fixed this and/or there is not a big outcry from app users. You can remedy this by muting the sound on the app and running a piano app in the background. Also the fact that you cannot do landscape mode is a big hindrance unless you can work through Bluetooth (not sure if that’s possible, but my keyboard cannot do it so it doesn’t matter). So your headphones and lightning adapter make it difficult to keep the iPad steady. To top it all off, it crashes nearly every time you play a round on a iPad 6. I just cannot figure out for the life of me why this gets good ratings. I bought an app that’s half the price that gets everything right except landscape mode. Avoid this. It’s overpriced, poorly implemented and underdeveloped..Version: 3.9.10

Music TutorI think this app is good, but it could be more fun. It also should show on review mistakes your mistakes in red. It has, however, really helped with my sight reading..Version: 3.12

Music tutorTo many ads.Version: 3.12

No sound in appThe notes worked on two rounds and then never again. I tried every imaginable setting but no luck. So it’s basically useless..Version: 3.17

Should even have 1 starNo Bluetooth Way to laggy Doggy doo doo.Version: 3.16.1

Basic, but has loads of potential! The ability to monitor progress is great and tests feel like the perfect amount of time. Would love to see more variety in the testing; using different types of notes (crotchets, quavers, etc) to add a slight visual challenge; more guitar-based features like the ability to input notes on a fretboard (and within different positions); rhythm-based tesing (tap the rhythm to metronome); pitch-based testing for singers (sing the notes into the microphone)..Version: 3.12

Where is the sound?I like the infinity setting so that I can take my time to learn the base clef but I have the sound setting on and volume all the way up and there is zero sound happening. I tried with headphones too in case it was my phone but zero sound. And if you hit the button to quickly and you were wrong, it won’t show you what the mistake is unless you’ve held the button down which is still hard on the infinity setting when you are trying to go quickly so you can go to the timed part of the app..Version: 3.17

Oh jeezHard and also the ads are annoying (very) and it’s not one star because it’s useful cuz I play piano. I’m just kind of annoyed by it and also, BYEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!.Version: 3.11

Can’t practice reading intervalsCant practice reading intervals, only single notes.Version: 3.16.1

Great premise, clunky interfaceThe premise of this app is great. In just a few short sessions I feel that I’ve made a ton of progress in learning notes on the staves. Unfortunately the interface of the app is a little clunky and leaves a lot to be desired where design / graphics are concerned. The only functional additions I would like to see implemented is an option that lets you display both the piano keys and the letters of those keys at the same time. Currently you can either guess the notes by letter OR key on the piano, but not both. The other improvement I would recommend would be since the staves cover three lines above and below the main staff, I would love to expand the keys / letters to include the entire range of octaves being quizzed. Last, I would love to have both treble and bass staves on the screen at the same time rather than switching between the two..Version: 3.9.10

Great appUntil I realized I can’t use my piano to play the notes :-(.Version: 3.16.1

TerribleI got tis game but all it does is make my cry the first time I use it..Version: 3.17

PuzzledCan anybody please explain to me how this app works? Thank you!.Version: 3.8.3
