Sygic Travel Maps Trip Planner for Negative User Reviews

Absolutely can’t use itAbsolutely not worth the price All the time stuck and turn off.Version: 5.14

Bad badIt was okay before this update now this is really confusing bought premium for nothing and I did plan my trip for this week and now this app is really an usable why you did this ??? I wish I could put the way it was.Version: 5.0

Becoming too hard to use even with pro accessI liked how straight forward this app used to be. However after upgrading to pro, I am having trouble to add trip and some of my trips are not populating the usual tourist attractions etc..Version: 5.2

Wow such money grabSo this app is useless without premium. Did I get it right?.Version: 6.12

MapsKeeps crashing.Version: 6.5.1

Use google tripsThis use to be a great free app. The lack of functionality in it now means you are better off using google trips.Version: 5.4.1

Was good, now crapI have used this app for three previous London trips and it was really good. I came to use it for another upcoming trip and thanks to the update it’s no use at all. All I need is to be able to see a list of events and be able to move them around to the day or time I need. I don’t want to see everything lumped together on a map. Complete crap now. Won’t be bothering with it again unless this can be corrected. App has been ruined just because of money grabbing..Version: 5.0.5

RubbishI tried the app, keeps on blocking, its use the Sygic app at start then keeps trying to find the location. I was aspected more from Sygic :))) waste of money.Version: 5.17

Can’t add any places to itinerary with spending £9.99!!It used to be free to add places to my itinerary and plan a trip not it’s £9.99!!! Big jump up. Wouldn’t mind if it was a couple of quid but it’s a big jump!.Version: 4.27

Has a few bugs to fixHello, this sounds like a great app in theory. But not for the perfectionist. I like the layout and how the app looks, however one thing that could be added is details for flight and train departures and time of arrival. I was trying to list the time of departure from Aberdeen train station and arrival to Glasgow central. When I added times, it also changed the times on my last day of my holiday so they were the same. I couldn't put different departure and arrival times for different days. Another issue was duration of travel, it would not let me list "train" as another method of travel, only "car". Putting in check in and check out times for hotel would have also been useful. Also there is the option to buy the "premium" service which allows reviews and offline maps. A nice touch would be to have the reviews from trip advisor. At the moment they use reviews from "Fodors travel". However I must warn you, this option is only worth buying if you are traveling to the areas that are already listed as available, in the UK the only area is London at present but "more is to follow". Another small buy bear is that this app lists costs in dollars $ and not in any other currency. I feel like this app has the potential to be great, however I m a perfectionist and these minor things bother me. They may not bother others. I will be deleting this app at the moment, however if it improves I would re-download..Version: 4.3

Driving directions not workingI’m getting message that the developer needs to update app for it to work with ios11, for the driving or walking directions to work. I have premium version , and without this feature , the app is not very helpful ..Version: 4.27

Sucked in !!Paid the money to upgrade and get the offline maps only to be told (after the purchase of course !!) they don't support the country I'm going to ! Why would a tourist go to New Zealand anyway ! In the end though that doesn't matter as the app doesn't actually work, when you try to add a destination it disappears anyway. Not worth the data downloading it !!.Version: 3.3

Update didasterThis last release is so buggy it gets very frustrating. Constant freezes and crashes transforms this once usefull and well working app in a piece of crap. Do not update yet..Version: 5.0

What happened??My husband and I used this app in England and the Netherlands in March of 2017 and didn’t think twice about using it again this year when we went to Spain. We downloaded all the maps ahead of time, expecting to have the same wonderful experience as the last time, only to be immediately and sorely disappointed. Roughly 7 times out of 10, the app would say “Error during navigation” or “Navigation unavailable at this time,” and the rest of the time the app would just crash. What happened? This app saved our lives the last time we used it and now I feel horrible for ever having recommended it to anyone because it’s completely useless. Will absolutely be deleting this app and never using it again..Version: 5.2

Almost thereI tried planning a trip to the coast and the map kept redirecting me to Washington state, over 2 hours away. Also it should be possible to delete a trip from the Trips screen, right? Take advantage of the swipe gesture, rather than burying a delete menu choice down under Trip Settings..Version: 5.0.3

Not an itinerary plannerHas some useful guidebook type info, but let down by not really being an itinerary planner. Can't seem to enter info about which city you will be in on which day, where you are staying or how you are getting between locations. Without that context, all the great info it gives you about locations just ends up as a jumble. Wish it had a help function and I might be able to figure it all out..Version: 2.9.1

So unfortunateThis is my second attempt to have my review posted...unfortunately, I’m repeating myself in saying this app is no longer useful. Unfortunately the last update has taken the app into a realm of frustration by many users (read recent reviews). Unfortunately I can not get a refund. And even more unfortunate, I have to spend time finding a new travel app to plan my upcoming trip, rather than planning as I have done in the past on my Sygic app. So disappointed that Progammers/app designers continue to mess up perfectly good/useful/user friendly tools..Version: 5.0.3

Wish this worked betterBought the premium and used it once and can’t get any of my devises to sync anymore. This app is difficult to figure out and I spent a lot of time learning to navigate it. If you’re not great on a computer this is not the app for you. Love the idea but needs work to be more intuitive and needs a menu to manage your account with all devices..Version: 4.27

It Changed. This used to be my go-to app as I travel internationally quite often. I downloaded this a few years ago when the interface was simpler - a major highlight was that you could browse different a ton of activities on the right hand of the screen. You could even sort these by category (ie tours, free things to do, markets) and there was a much larger database of things to do. It seems like they completely swapped this out for the more condensed list of most popular sights. The offline maps are great, when they work...I'm trying to find a replacement for this - I am paid user but unfortunately haven’t found a comparable substitute. I’m heading back to Paris in a few days and all of the sights and activities I saved on the previous version are GONE..Version: 5.4.1

RipperWhat a rip off. It is unusable if you don’t buy it..Version: 5.5

Great potential but too frustratingWas really excited to get this app and plan my next holiday. However, many a frustrating hour later I gave up. Doesn't let you add destinations to the days without a number of attempts. Too hard to move things around. Will keep looking for a good travel planner app - this isn't it..Version: 3.5

Used to be fabulousI loved this app and referred it non-stop to my traveling friends. I was also happy to upgrade - money well spent. I tried numerous itinerary planning apps and Sygic beat them all hands down. Unfortunately Sygic has now moved to being primarily a map application with frustratingly difficult itinerary planning. I have to plan my itinerary on their "legacy" website on my computer and then I can see it on my phone. It is extremely difficult to do any detailed planning on my phone now. The previous app version also exceeded the computer version with its ease and custom-ability. Changing from the #1 trip planning app niche into trying to compete with all the other huge map developers was a bad decision..Version: 5.2

Don’t change what isn’t brokenI used this app last year for a trip to Dubai, fantastic and easy to use. However they have since updated it and changed it and having come to use it again for a holiday this month it is impossible to use..Version: 5.0.3

Key bits missingIt’s good but the map feature struggles in certain countries -Japan. It misses key attractions and puts things in the wrong place. The lack of public transport makes it super hard to plan how long it takes, meaning I might as well have just used google maps and one note instead and saved my money. Better in other countries, can’t wait for it to better in places I want to travel..Version: 5.11

Needs a lot more thoughtOriginally shed the free app and thought it had promise so bought the so called premium version, though I shouldn’t have wasted my money. The functionality is poor and the search facility is also poor. It’s hard to move things around, sometimes it works but often it doesn’t. It’s a shame as this could be so good with better development.Version: 4.27

Needs developmentThe idea of a comprehensive trip planner is great but this isn't a trip planner. It has some good ideas like providing details of destinations. However, it gives the impression that the designers have never been on a trip. There is no provision for entering details of actual travel such as flights, car hire, ferries etc. I hope the developers will consult with actual users in re-designing this app as it could become really useful. Meantime, back to Tripit..Version: 4.4

PoorI had some initial problems with the app which I have resolved myself and I found it useful on a recent holiday..Version: 5.1

Now it’s useless! It use to be free to add trips, now you have to pay for it a completely unreasonably high price. It makes it useless. Pure greed!.Version: 4.27

A Great App ButSygic has one of the most comprehensive travel planning apps available BUT it’s functionality is severely limited by the inability to print or email you itinerary and input without going through their website. Email is restricted to a link to their website. Add the functions and I’ll add the stars. Update: Response to Developer’s Reply. Sorry, but yours is an unsatisfactory response. Saving to the local drive and direct printing are fundamental features. Their absence really means that my device is a remote terminal to your server. Your current work around to a lacking program involves making my trip public rather than private which is an extremely poor alternative..Version: 4.27

I hate this appPaid for it and I hate it. Trip to Wilson’s Promontory National Park. No information, poor app navigation, no detail maps or things to do, attractions etc. for an extremely popular tourist destination in Melbourne Australia. Utterly useless waste of money for me so far.Version: 5.2.1

Terrible!Interface is appalling, doesn’t let you add trips sent by others. Keeps pushing premium version, we get it!! You want us to pay for the premium version, however you make it a terrible experience using the unpaid version is never want to upgrade..Version: 6.4

Too many glitches to recommendWhen the app actually worked it was great but it would not load a lot of the time & we spent too much time trying to get it to work. Very frustrating..Version: 4.20

Hard to useI can’t seem to navigate this app sorry I bought it now.Version: 6.9

Best I've found, but not great.I tried TripIt, but I couldn't figure anything out. Google Trips was pretty good for finding info, but I couldn't share or get maps. I like Sygic's map feature with the little pictures to click on (but some pictures don't match the place). I'm able to share my trip with family, and that is great. I also like the mode of transportation option. However, if you are looking for a specific place and don't have the EXACT name that Sygic has it listed, it's difficult to find. I wish it was linked to a search engine that could help decider what I meant. For instance, I could not find Hotel Moderno on the Puerta del Sol in Madrid even when I put in street address. (Lots of others popped up from different places). I finally found it when I clicked on "accommodations" and it was listed as just "Moderno" Or looking for the Ratoncito Perez museum, I looked up Ratoncito Perez, but couldn't find it until I put the official name Casa Museo del Ratón Pérez. I paid the fee for premium, but the info isn't stellar, just ok. So I'm not getting rid of my Google Trips app just yet. I still think the sale price for the app was worth it, I do like the map and sharing feature..Version: 5.0.5

Not Worth Paying ForThe app was great when everything in it was free. I haven't used it in more than a year and when I went in recently to start setting up a trip I was surprised to find that the content isn't free anymore. Might as well sign up for trip advisor. The UI isn't as nice but you can research and manage your trip all in one place without a cost (for now)..Version: 4.24

This is not intuitiveI have been trying to set up a trip from home for 1 hour and it seems impossible to connect 2 points on the map.Version: 6.11

Apps keep crashingKeeps crashing when tries to load trips..Version: 5.13

Mr. Fed-up BrianI am still trying to create a trip, but getting very frustrated it is so difficult. All I am trying to do is put a starting point then find a hotel in that area, and then a next destination but all this wants me to do is purchase more more products. This app is very frustrating and could not recommend to anyone. Having now spent a lot of money and still no further forward..Version: 5.0.4

Good app concept, but untrustworthyI really want to like this app but I find that I can’t trust it with my trip plans. After landing in the UK from the USA, this app moved all my events one day ahead. Maybe this is a time-zone issue but a world travel app should handle things better. After moving them all back manually, the map filtering still filters based on the wrong dates so my itinerary view is not in sync with the map view. My trip companion who is sharing my data on her iPad still sees the dates wrongly also even after I’ve manually corrected them on my iPad. Another thing that is quite terrible is that there doesn’t appear to be a way to put the same item in the trip on multiple days with different time settings. For example, if you want to put the airport in for your arrival and departure, editing the time will change it on both days. The searching seems quite bad also. Many times the app can’t find what I am looking for, but if I zoom in on the map, suddenly the item is there and I can click on it to add to the trip. On the positive side, the app has neat workflow, allowing itineraries to be built up with nice visualization on the map. It also makes it easy to discover nearby items of interest. If this app could be bullet-proof in handling trip data, this would be an amazing app and would be a big part of my tip planning. As it is, I don’t feel that I can trust it..Version: 4.27

Was a fan, not anymoreThis used to be a great app. Too many issues now and since latest update it keeps crashing making it unusable..Version: 5.8

Good update except list view is goneThe map view is nice but in areas where there is densely packed spots a list view is much easier. Also lets you pick stuff out that is less popular (ie not a big bubble). Bring a simple list back and you're golden..Version: 5.0.2

App instabilityThis app all the time crashes when I try to use it on my iPhone X. And the trip reordering function doesn’t work properly sometimes it doesn’t shift venues. Annoying to use, but I’ve paid for it already..Version: 5.8

The new version is essentially unusableAnother update: I notice that every review since version 5 was released still says that the app is a disaster. The previous versions had reviews that were off the charts - everyone loved it. Now everyone hates it. Seriously ... not a single good review for the new app. This is a no-brainer: the old app was wonderful the new app is a failure. Please give us the old app back. —————— Update: I’ve noticed that although the previous versions of Sygic had excellent reviews, so far, all the reviews of the new version are devastating. The developers should listen to their paying customers and give us back the excellent app we all found so useful before. ———————— I’m very sad to write this. Sygic had been my favorite travel app and I purchased the premium version. Then version 5 came out and the app is frustrating beyond words. They say “it’s all about the map”but the problem is, nobody bases their travels on a rectangular map. If I go to Switzerland, I want to know about the sites in Switzerland - not about the sites that fit in a rectangle that contains Switzerland. When I select one of my trips from my list, the map doesn’t reposition so selecting the trip is useless. The sites that come up are the same sites that are in the rectangular map that was up before. Furthermore, even if I do manually reposition the map (WHY do I have to do that at all?!), I get a tiny fraction of the sites in Switzerland. I don’t want to see the best 10 sites ... I want a list of all of them (like in the old app) so I can choose what to see. And I especially don’t want to see a list of sites outside of Switzerland that are showing up only because they’re in the same rectangular map as Switzerland. And don’t get me started on the new screen layout that only shows you a fraction of the information it showed before, requiring you to do constant scrolling (vertically AND horizontally) to see the little info you’re allowed to see. Honestly, I’m stunned that such an amazing app has been destroyed like this. The new version gives far less relevant info, far more irrelevant info, and is vastly harder to navigate. I’d pay money (again) to get the old version back..Version: 5.4.1

Keeps crashingUninstalled and reinstalled, but app still keeps crashing which renders the app useless. ☹️ Please fix - I loved this app..Version: 5.13

New updated maps missing informationI was using the older version of the app and was happy to pay for the premium features. I updated the app as I was told the new maps would be much better but now iv got higher res but way ness detail of the information I actually want to see. Previously I could see all local metro stations on the map so could easily identify my local station, and manually add it as a location for my itinerary. Now with the new update stations like metros are not even listed? Building outlines are not always shown just the main roads. So for example I can not now search for local stations visually but have to know the exact GIO location or hope that they have added all stations I require in kyoto as searchable destinations. Large stations like Kyoto Station (main central station) is listed but metros are not and are not shown on the map, to me that equals useless as I bought this app to navigate around Tokyo and Kyoto by train and foot. Bring back the old maps as an overlay option please....Version: 3.8

Don’t waste your money. The App runs slow and crashes continuously, even with the updates the same thing happens, I reported it, but got the standard denial email back. Wish I could get my money back, it’s complete rubbish..Version: 5.0.2

Horrible App Very DifficultTrying to be too clever. Very hard to use Robert Butler.Version: 5.0.2

Not sharing between devicesI attempted to make a route using my iPhone, which was difficult. After reviewing, I see that you develop a route online, then save it (favorite) and it’s supposed to show in your App. I do see the route on my iPad, but not my iPhone. And, when I try to ‘share’ from my iPad, it shuts down/closes the App. What gives?????.Version: 6.9

Map downloads don’t work after purchaseDon’t spend your money.Version: 5.3

Crashes, Poor UX, Slow map loads.Something is horribly wrong. Crashes. Slow. Ability to see or view whole trip end to end instead of day at a time for a specific week only..Version: 5.8

Needs better dataLove the concept! Won’t buy premium if non-premium is so outdated and missing information. The hotel I’m staying at has not been a Delta in years. Can’t find the Dinner/Theatre even though Google and Apple Maps clearly show it. Doesn’t show plane info..Version: 6.12

Great appI loved this app. I have the full version and used it on many trips. I was used to the details and how it all worked. It was great to see the days, and activities, and map. It is all gone now. It is impossible to use and not intuitive at all. Please bring back the old app, it was it’s ease of use which made me buy it in the first place. Now I can’t use it at all..Version: 5.6

Useless without premiumI was recommended this app by a friend for the ‘Trips’ function, which he said was free and the only paid element is if you want offline maps. The version I have requires premium to use any function of ‘Trips’, however my friend still gets this for free. Maybe intentional or maybe an issue with the app?! Either way, not worth paying without first getting a 1 month free trial or something to actually test it out..Version: 6.4

FrustratingOne of the most frustrating apps to use. Trying to plan a 2 month trip around Europe but the app is stuck in our first stop Paris. Added destinations but then still need to add custom places of which neither show on map. Grrrrrrr!! We are driving between cities but can't find a setting for that either. Confusing menus on the left and right that just take you around in circles. Why can't someone just make an easy to use app?.Version: 2.17

PremiumIt’s a shame you can’t trial it more before buying the Premium upgrade. It’s virtually worthless without upgrading..Version: 6.3

UselessApp is well designed. Most basic things are blocked though and require premium access..Version: 6.9

Has great potentialThere's a lot to like about Tripomatic, but in my opinion, it doesn't quite hit the mark, though it seems to be heading in the right direction. Sights are listed well in capital cities but other major cities can be completely empty of information. The interface between the iOS app, the Website and the beta website leaves a lot to be desired. Another feature it could really benefit from is somewhere to list transport. If I'm traveling by train, for example, I want to know when and where I have to be on Day 24 of my trip..Version: 2.19

Want the old app backI do not like the upgrade, everything is smaller now. Can;t seem to add locations with addresses to places that are not tourist destinations/hotels.Version: 5.0.2

Great app but ......Great app but the interface and usability was better in the earlier version.Version: 5.2

Updates are supposed to make it betterThe latest update (in the middle of a trip) has turned a great planning tool into absolute nonsense. The app now wants me to make a 15 minute walk by ferry! Please return the drag and drop between days and the ability to see all of your trip on one map. Or just roll back to the last version!.Version: 5.0.1

So slow...........A once excellent app is now so slow on iPad that it is unusable -such a shame.Version: 6.7

Not a good startJust purchased this app. Looked up Powis Castle and the details are of a castle in Scotland. What a useless app if the first place I want to travel too is rides with errors..Version: 5.16

DissapointedI used to use this app regularly to plan my trips abroad now in the planning stage of my next trip so have come to use this app only to find out I am having to pay to add places to my plans when it use to be free. Before you say the standard answer of its to bring improvements and more features I feel this is absolute crap and to be honest just stinks of greed. Will now be deleting this app and using another app for my trip panning which is a shame but I can not justify paying out so much money for an app when I am sure I can get this a lot cheaper or free elsewhere..Version: 4.27

Downloads say complete but no maps availNo app should take this much of my energy to be able to use, especially after paying for Premium!.Version: 5.2.1

IPhone X compatibilityPlease support iPhone X..Version: 4.27

Was a great app, new version is rough to useThey had an awesome app and have made it almost unusable with the new version unless you have a one or two day trip. You can now just see one day at a time and it is painful to add a city to multiple days. You were able to select multiple days in the past in one screen, but now you have to select a day, then it auto closes, then you have to reopen to add another day. I used this for all my multi-week trips in the past and at this point the app is just too painful to use. So frustrating that they ruined such an awesome app :(.Version: 5.0.3

Great until updateThis app used to be great and extremely useful until they updated it and now you can only see like 3% of the activities in the area without it forcing you to pay. Premium is also ALWAYS on “sale” just so it makes you feel like you’re getting a deal. Waste of time now, don’t bother. There’s plenty of trip planning websites that are free and just as useful..Version: 5.3

Doesn’t workIt freezes all the time. What a waste of money.Version: 6.0.2

New update so not user friendlyBeen using this app for years, Love this app so much before the latest update. But Its really bad now, So hard to navigate..Version: 5.0.3

Another subscriptionNo way, there are too many as well as other and cheaper ways to plan a trip.Version: 6.8

ItineraryI bought this for organization. It’s not that easy to use and it seems to be more of a marketing tool for travel. I did use the map download feature as I purchased premium.Version: 6.12

Worthless!!This app is absolutely worthless! To build an itinerary is painful. You first need to build it on a piece of paper because there is no editing. Even if you input the time for each site the app will not move the items in the correct order. You can not choose the mode of transportation between places. The app picks one for you. Basically zero flexibility with this thing. Very disappointed, now I’m sure it will be a pain to cancel the monthly subscription..Version: 6.5.1

Great Looking but UnusableI am a premium subscriber to both their travel app and worldwide navigation app, but I can’t say that I can rely on them. They are both buggy with not so up-to-date information about places (some of them do not even exists which gave me a bad runaround and wasted my time). The travel app lack a lot of information and pictures to be called a travel app. There are no reviews for any of the places, and I am not sure why they don’t partner with some of the already established mapping services that already have a large database. As for the usability - it’s horrendously buggy and not stable. You get stuck on a screen for 10s, move the map, guess what - you have to wait for additional 10s, and after a while - boom, crash, burn. I am looking for alternatives, but so far can’t find any good offline travel app and that’s the only reason I still have it on my phone..Version: 6.2

Good once you figure it outTook me a while to get a hang of using this app. Almost regretted buying the premium but gave it a chance. Liking it a bit more once I figured out but not really user friendly at first. Only thing I would add right now is to the travel time between attractions, etc. is a train or bus option..Version: 4.27

Downloaded and deletedI downloaded this app based on reviews. As I was doing so I read a bit more into it. It appears to get the best out of it you need to pay a subscription. I get that the developers need to make money but I think the approx $50 full purchase or $7 per month is a bit much for a niche app. But that’s not a deal breaker. More importantly, I looked at the privacy details and saw that they basically track everything you do. No thanks. So I deleted it before using it. I gave a 3 star review even though I haven’t used it because it’s reasonable to make money (even if a little steep imo) and the app is probably very good. But no matter how good it is, you lose 2 stars because of the tracking..Version: 6.11

Keeps on crashingJust downloaded it and actually deleted it 5 min later. It kept crashing at various stages. Very annoying. Shame.Version: 5.8

MoneyWe need to buy MONEY for this app but I have a account.Version: 6.7

WilliamDisappointed expected my I phone and watch to coordinate with this App but it won’t work for me And I paid for premium, looks like I wasted my money..Version: 6.9

Hopefully I’ll figure it outCurrently in the nightmare of learning Sygic. Planning routes on other cities seems very clunky, always forcing back to my current location (in a different country) and selecting places off maps not working. Questioning why I picked this one.Version: 6.11

Used to be excellentBefore the update this was a great app I used it to plan a few trips and purchased the premium version. Since the update it’s not user friendly at all, planing trips no longer seems to be the focus and it’s difficult to see all the information you need without tirelessly navigating the clunky feeling interface. I’m looking to use another app for my trips in 2019..Version: 5.3

Was super beforeLike the others I think the latest update represents a step backwards. The nicest feature (a scrollable snapshot of the whole trip with all the destinations) which I had bought the app in the first place has now been removed. What a disappointment. I would like this back, together with the ability to simply drag destinations between days or simply copy and paste. The maps do not work any better either. I have a top of the range iPad Pro and the maps and their points of interests take ages to load and are cumbersome at best. Names of localities: sometimes they load, sometimes they don’t. I want the point of interests filtering back so that if I only want displayed my favourites, or cafes, or petrol stations, or what have you, then only those are displayed, not the rest of useless cr-p, which slows down the map display. I need car route options to chose from perhaps with a ‘via’ button (without having to create a separate destination for it). It is incomprehensible how this update is regarded as an upgrade. It is a 1star downgrade..Version: 5.0.4

5.0 ...I miss the old version where I was able to add a custom location based on an address or gps coordinates. Only having the option to add a custom location when clicking an holding directly on the map is a major step back from the previous version. Now unable to set a custom location to an accommodation for example. Where is the add button from the day view? Why we cant see the accommodation or hotel as a starting point the day of the checkout like it was in the previous version? I must say that the new interface is really beautiful though and the fact we see the whole itinerary of the day we selected on the map is a nice upgrade! Unfortunately with this new version I regret having paid for the premium service....Version: 5.0.1

What have you doneVersion 5 turned one of my favourite travel apps to a barely usable one, what a shame. Also, my ten bucks for the premium access just got wasted 😐.Version: 5.0

Disappointed in latest versionI’m in the midst of planning an extended trip to Italy and was so delighted with this app (I did purchase the app). And then my iPad crashed and needed to be replaced. I expected that when I reinstalled the app all would be well. Unfortunately, it isn’t. As advertised, they in fact did rebuild it from the ground up but they didn’t add many of the previous very helpful features. I’m now using my phone which I thankfully did not update or my desktop computer. The web-based Sygic has a feature to revert to the previous version. I can only hope that the next version will be released soon and will incorporate many previous features. I anxiously await being able to give this app 5 stars again..Version: 5.0.3

Good until updateI really liked this app until the recent update. Now all I does is crash. Finding and adding new items to the schedule is difficult. The new update is just awful. I wish it would just go back to the way it was. Also when I try to look at what path a may take somewhere it always redirects me to a different app which is super annoying. It doesn’t give you the option between driving and walking all the time..Version: 5.0.3

Great concept but no public transportThe concept and usability of app is great though the transport mode is limited to driving and walking. Definitely need a public transport mode which is very realistic when travelling. Also very limited number of cities with guides limits its usefulness. Would be great to see the new updates and what features it brings..Version: 4.9.1

New York in-app guideComplete waste of money. It just has general info on the city that most people would already know e.g eat bagels, pizza or see the Statue of Liberty and catch a yellow cab. The main app is far more worthwhile..Version: 2.0

Could be betterApp good in theory...can't figure out why they don't allow your itinerary drawn as a line on the map from attraction to attraction for each day as they do on the website?! The main reason I downloaded was to use that feature. Disappointing..Version: 2.6.1

Very limited GuideNice app with wifi free download of maps in paid version but the "detailed" Fodor's information is literally no more than a few paragraphs which is totally misleading..Version: 4.12

ThanksSo far I am happy with the app. Especially walking tour guide.Version: 4.15

RefundThought I was agreeing to trial and cannot remove from apple purchase..Version: 5.15

Very poorAfter using for some years the quality and stability of the app has gone down hill. The app crashes and freezes quite often. And to top this off they want to charge for it too..Version: 4.27

Unable to add items with free versionIf I make a trip using a computer, then use the app only to help navigate, it’s great. However, on the app itself it won’t even let me do a basic thing like add a new place to my day without paying for premium. The website is great but the app is useless unless you pay for premium. Why bother having a free version at all?.Version: 4.27

A good but needy appThis is a handy and well-made app for finding things to do in a given city. However, using it has become a chore: it keeps displaying a pop-up asking me to allow notifications. Once would be fine — I could click "no" and move on. But I'm seeing it again and again and again. Even a great app can be ruined by incessant (and pointless) nagging..Version: 2.16

Recent update is terribleI've been using Sygic since 2014, and loved it! Unfortunately the most recent update has made it unusable. I paid for premium, have a huge trip coming up, and now will have to look for another app to use. When I sent an email asking for help, they simply said it looked fine to them and they were sorry I didn't like it. VERY disappointing..Version: 5.0.5

Paid app now - editedGreat when it was free/ad-supporterd. The change to paid-for-EVERYTHING is too drastic. Why not continue to provide certain basic features in the free version, and provide premium options to unlock other premium features? Hardly usable now - they are forcing everyone to the “premium” option. Please don’t insult your users with “we are making more awesome feature” or “making the change in order to make it better “. Most of us were happy as it was. - edited: understood better the need to charge but still believe this could have been segmented better. Thanks..Version: 4.27
