✓ Finding notes are disappearingThis may be my error but is frustrating. I took notes in class and it defaulted to a previous point. I don’t know how to recover the items. It happened right after I dismissed to review. It prompted me to review again, so I am putting it as 2 stars because of the stress of lost notes. I paid for pro version..Version: 6.4
✓ The writing feature tho?The one let down is the feature where you write. I am using an Apple Pencil and it’s so unbelievably hard to use..Version: 6.4

✓ Really nice butThe eraser is a necessity . Without it the app just cannot run well. This should be a feature in the normal version and not only the plus. I guess this is a proper push for users to upgrade as without as mentioned its pretty useless. Otherwise would be a great little app. And asking price for the few extras is the same price for a top notch paint app. Sorry lads , add the eraser and allow your app to be in the game, it's really fantastic but a tad over priced compared to others in the same category ..Version: 1.0
✓ It doesn’t even have an eraserI got the free version and I’m in shock. I use my apple pen to write with and the size is so huge which makes it look very messy. There isn’t an option to adjust the size. Furthermore, there’s no eraser- I guess I’m not going to make any mistakes from now on..Version: 6.4

✓ Editing & cropping photos in app for next updateLove the app for coloring, note taking or doodling. However it’s not the best for bullet journaling unless you like it very minimal. Stickers don't work well and the photos you import need to be the perfect size because they cannot be edited in the app. That is the main thing that makes me hesitant about recommending it to friends. Haven’t found a way to efficiently include PDFs either..Version: 6.4
✓ Stuck and not savedI like the simplicity of the app and tools for my doodles and notes, illustrations. But so many times, I lost the data. When I close the app, little “wait” star turns and turns for a long time and eventually, like five minutes later, I have to force close the app. Then the last added data is not usually saved. I wish I can resize the eraser! The feature to erase a certain color is cool..Version: 6.4

✓ MAYBE??… notUnfortunately the base version is too restricted to figure out the utility and worth of a $10 investment to the Inkflow Plus version. The online user guide does look promising BUT having paid for other apps only to then discover illogical implementations or undocumented limitations, I can only say this base version is too limited and cumbersome (just try to copy & paste). And with NO trial period to test out the ‘Plus’ features, my $10 will remain mine..Version: 6.7

✓ Great except lost my purchased upgrade!I had been using this app for quite a few years, but recently, after not having it on my newer phone for awhile, I reinstalled it. Previously, I had purchased the upgrade to the full version via in-app-purchase. But now, it will not restore that upgrade. I submitted to their feedback a request to fix this, but have not heard from them. I think in the future I’ll avoid doing upgrades from within apps, and only get full version apps if they’re sold as such. Very disappointing, to be honest..Version: 6.4

✓ Regrettable purchaseI paid for the upgrade because I really liked this app, but it was so buggy I have asked for a refund. First the pen button bugged out and every time I pressed it the app closed. I managed to fix it by deleting and reinstalling during which I managed to lose a whole book which I had assumed had saved in my iCloud. It hadn’t. After this every time I closed the app I lost some progress in whatever I was working on. I started looking at other apps that do the same and found Noteshelf which has a lot more features, stability and usability for the same money. Please don’t make my mistake and pay for this app until you’ve done a lot more homework..Version: 6.7

✓ Great until I lost everythingI’ve been using this for ages to build up a bank of important mind maps for training sessions I run. Suddenly I find I can no longer fully access them or amend them and the whole app has crashed. ✓ SYNC SYNC SYNC!!!!I never understand why developers go through the effort involved in making apps, only to forget to implement the basics. If you are designing for iPad AND iPhone, I would have thought a sync to iCloud would be a must??.Version: 5.7
✓ It could be betterI used to use this app often when I had my iPad Air 2 which at the time recently came out so the palm rejection was fantastic and I loved the simplicity of it because it was just like writing on regular paper which I was starting to move on from that to using my iPad from writing and drawing. However as time passed I used this app less and less and have since then moved on with using the paper app from the company fifty-three. I use my iPad mini 5 most with my Apple Pencil and the features on paper are a lot more than what we have here on Inkflow to use for mind mapping, drawing, note taking..... I would say I wasted my money buying the pro but at the same time no because at the time it served its purpose and I was enjoying it. To those that want more features go find another app other than inkflow like paper. If you don’t mind the simplicity then go for inkflow. For note taking and drawing I regularly use paper, procreate and notes plus for anyone looking for recommendations..Version: 6.4
✓ 😪😒mehI personally don’t think this app is very good! Here are the reasons why I think this: 1) I do not see why people should have to pay £10 pounds just to use colour and fancy stuff when u can buy a set of pens from the shop for £2.99 and use paper. It is very pointless to pay that much money on an app! 2) In the tutorial I think it gets way to cocky and says ‘ now try do that with paper and pen’ which is very unnecessary and half the time you can do it on paper. For example they have a tool that can put a bubble round the note which u can do perfectly well on paper with a highlighter. (Plus it doesn’t even work) 3) It is also very hard to write with the pen if u don’t have an Apple pen. It doesn’t look very good and I do not understand how this Andy guy managed to get his writing so neat with out using a font!! I am sorry that I don’t like this app but I would not recommend it. Do not waste your time downloading this because it isn’t very good at all and is very overrated I think. I am afraid to say but the creators of this app have failed to reach their goal so pls fix this it is very annoying, you have disappointed me very much. You might as well just use pages!! ✓ Well executed, at first...I was prepared to leave 5 stars because I was enjoying the user friendliness so much. I'm always looking for ways to maximise creativity on my iPhone. Unfortunately after filling out my first page of my little notebook I then found it very difficult to scroll down without accidentally writing or selecting over things. ✓ Needs workThe app is one of the most fluid on the iPhone and I've tried it on the iPad. Lacking features that Penultimate have as standard. Eraser instead of just using your tool which I like. The ability to delete a book or a page and insert a blanc page in between. Extra colored paper or graph or lined paper would be cool too. ✓ Seemed great, never saves anything.The app is okay for notes and doodling but it deletes 90% of what I do. There’s no save button and auto save only seems to work if you click back to the overview of your notes and even that doesn’t always work. If you just come out of the app you lose your progress. ✓ It’s great, but needs improvementThis app is so amazing, I love that is has everything that you need to journal, brainstorm, scrapbook etc. My only headache and frustration is that sometimes it freezes on me, and when that happens it doesn’t save my work! This is so frustrating, I don’t know how to prevent this because it randomly freezes. Hopefully this can be fixed. ✓ Poor export qualityAfter reading the company blurb, I wanted to like and support this app but and its a BIG but, the export quality of the images and text is lacking in all departments. Compared to 'Notability', this app lacks in every aspect, I have to use two fingers to move around the page which is annoying when using a stylus. Image quality in 'high res' PDF export is very poor and everything including the 'ink' is very pixilated..it's absolutely useless if you choose the low res option. The 'select tool' lacks the finesse and control that notability offers..so all round it's hard to describe this app as anything else than just a basic note taking application. I have to say I'm very intrigued by the inkport option but would not pay £5.99 just to see this in action..would like to see the developers give a 7 day trial of is before I could honestly say if it was worth the cost..Version: 4.0

HOWEVER, this app keeps on deleting my work like pages of notes I’ve written, if I lock my iPad and come back to it my work will disappear! I’m currently in tears because I spent a lot of time writing 6 pages of notes and I stop looking at my iPad for 2 minutes to look up something on my laptop and come back to my iPad and the app has deleted all but half of the first page of my notes! ✓ Got a long way to go to make this into a useful app guysSounded a great app but it has not lived up to expectations. Agree with all the other reviews that are critical - I expect the basics of an eraser rather than just the undo function, even on the free app, otherwise cannot really put it through any kind of testing out process. The screen shots shown with colour are from the paid for version so it's also very disappointing when you discover only B&W. The "free app" needs to make you want to pay for an upgrade - here it just leaves me wanting to delete the app..Version: 1.0

✓ Would be good if major bug fixedDeletes all content from any book in the gallery when you touch that books thumbnail. You can see book content is there but when you try and open previously saved book it clears every page This happened on my iPod. ✓ Rip-offThis is just a worse, less intuitive rip-off of notes plus, with a worse UI. They make the point in the user guide that there best feature is the selection tool, a tool available in MANY apps like these. Notes plus however doesn't require you to use this tool, you can just draw a circle around what you want to select in pen and it recognise what you're trying to do. I know I shouldn't base my judgement of this app on a comparison of another, but I just feel that if you're going to spend money then you may as well spend it on a better app. I realise you don't actually have to spend money as this is just a free version but considering the full version still doesn't have the easier selection tool of notes plus, there's no point in downloading this app unless you don't ever plan on upgrading to the full version. On the bright side, it does have a very smooth ink flow..Version: 1.0
