✓ Satellite Finder / repérer un satellite TVLogiciel intéressant, fonctionne bien et facile d'utilisation. Mais pas d'angle d'inclinaison pour les antennes à LNB multiples... Interesting and easy to use. But no skeew angle for multi LNB antenna....Version: 1.2
✓ Hmmmm not convinced yetSo i lined my own sat dish up by the tv and sat align function in options. Way ive always done it in the past its a patience thing and small movements to get the signal right. Anyway i was working on repairs in my trailer and decided to set up the dish and tripod to watch tv while i repaired. And i lined the bugger up worked like a charm. Got the idea that hmm maybe there is a app to make this easier when we go places. It was already lined up so i turned on the app and see if it showed the same and it did so i thought sweet. Took a trip in a few days a overnighter and wanted to set up the dish and ya know what incouldnt get it to come close to finding a signal. Infinally gave up and watched a movie instead. Next morning after hubby left tried it again with dish align . No dice, went back to the old standby and got it aligned and did it again my way when i got home Again. So i dont know folks if these things work or not seemed simple enough app and straight forward but when it showed in green and aligned i had no signal..Version: 2.3.7
✓ Not very goodThis app is really not very accurate. The azimuth is at least 7 degrees off on the Astra 28.2 satellites..Version: 2.4.0

✓ ClunkyThe user interface is clunky and the app doesn’t read the compass correctly (the iPhone compass has to be set for magnetic north or the app compass will point in the wrong direction). Another user complained about this a year ago and it still hasn’t been fixed, so draw your own conclusions about app support. The app contains all the information I need, at least..Version: 2.3.7
✓ App is not ready for market..Well I must admit it actually worked for a minute or two, but after wanting recalibration the settings were way off, and never came back with any accuracy. Intelsat 19 at 166, is not known by that name in the list. I would love to see this app debugged, has potential, but not yet...Version: 2.2

✓ NeedsProgram needs a map that doesn't act like a box. Making it so that the map does a full 360 rotation of the globe with no limits might solve the giving a bad map azimuth to aim. Dish AZ aiming is good but the map representation is off when going west out of Hawaii. Would be nice to have sats shown on globe to pick from instead of a list..Version: 1.2
✓ Don't give them moneyMade a contribution when "any" amount was "supposed" to remove ads, but the ads remain. Several attempts to contact the developer have been ignored. My hope is that I can convince some of you to NOT give this developer your hard earned dollars..Version: 2.0

✓ Close but not quiteNicely set up and easy to use but in my area it is out by about 15° which coincidentaly the amount of the magnetic declination here. Same result on multiple satellites. At least I can look up the settings in the app and then use a compass..Version: 2.3.3
✓ Limited use...This could be helpful if the map was accurate but from the looks of it, it's a week old. It does not appear to be using GPS in real time. Also no instructions, seriously?? ✓ Uses magnetic northI kept getting wrong results and finally figured out you there is some mixup between magnetic and true north. If you have the compass app set for tru north, then the compass on Dish Align will point off about 10°. You have to have your compass app set to use magnetic north to get the dish align compass display to match the satellite info. It seems Dish Align is not properly reading the Compass. Example: where I am a sat is at 180° true N, 169° mag N. if Compass set to true N and rotated to 180°, DA compass says sat is 13° west. If Compass set to mag N and rotated to 180°, DA compass says sat is right ahead. I'm not sure how to interpret this but something is wrong..Version: 2.3.3

✓ Not working very well!Had high hopes for this app but its a dud so far. I wish developers of such apps would include (numbered) steps on how to use it on a actual sample sattelite. As it is now, I am stuck on "select the Sattelite screen" and I dont see ANY to select from! Disapointed to say the least!.Version: 2.2

✓ Address searchPrior to arriving at an installation, I could type in the postcode, and it would show me the direction the dish needed to be on an overlay map. This would help with knowing where best on the building to install, access etc. Now it doesn’t accept it. Was soooo helpful when you could use it to plan..Version: 2.3.7
✓ InaccurateAfter a recent storm, my dish had been knocked off alignment. I downloaded this app and initially thought it was excellent, showing an intended angle and giving a confirmation beep to show when it was aligned. Unfortunately it didn’t work and a second try showed the angle previously signalled as correct, now spot on. I assume as this uses GPS for location, it’s a precise as GPS is, which is not very ! I ended up putting my set top box on signal strength, pointing a webcam at it, then viewing the webcam on my phone whilst adjusting the dish to get best strength. The app is a bit of a gimmick really..Version: 2.4.0

✓ Way Off!My DISH antenna automatically finds the satellites so I used the app to make sure my rig is in the correct orientation between trees. The first time I used the app I thought I must have done something wrong, but the dish locked onto that sat's anyway so I forgot about the incident. Now at my next campsite there are lots of trees so I needed an accurate assessment of the satellite locations. I found a site with a nice clearing right where the app points to for 110W, 119W and 129W. But it was not correct! My Winegard 1000 pointed 30 degrees more eastward and locked onto the satellites- even with the trees in the way. Since then with the wind moving the trees I have lost my signal and it is too much effort to move the rig. Plus I can not use this app to reliably find the satellites. And yes, I have checked the app several times since then and it points right at the clear space without trees. I did this while standing on my rig at the Dish antenna for one of these rechecks. Something is wrong with the logic and or math of this program considering these satellites are of the most common used for the Dish Network in the Western states..Version: 2.3.3
