✓ Pretty DecentTook a punt on this, thought it might be $5 wasted as it promised quite a lot. Not disappointed, it's a little rough round the edges but connecting to my Win7 laptop was v.easy. Going to try it on OSX mountain lion next. Played a v.large HD .mkv file & quality was more than decent. Seems quite responsive, not too much lag. I do have an insanely fast laptop & am using an iPad 3 so YMMV. Haven't tried gaming yet tho'. It's cool that you can create your own custom keyboard, however some of the key labels (I noticed Enter & Esc) don't show. A good start & so far no buyers remorse!.Version: 1.04

✓ It works!I wanted to stream videos to my iPad which are not available on the iPad. This app allowed me to do it. Streamed the TBS Conan O'Brien Show (not available on the iPad from the TBS site without key codes from satellite or cable provider). It worked. Plus it's sort of fun to operate your desktop computer from the sofa. Haven't figured out all the advantages yet. But, it did what I wanted it to do. I will say, it did not play my own private movies on my desktop from within the apps file folder. My iMovies failed every time for some reason. Other than that, it seems pretty cool..Version: 1.0

✓ It Works! It Really Is That Good!Have been using it with Windows 8 with no problems for the last 3 months. I can access my PC anywhere I want allowing me to use its power to play games( Diablo 3 works great) & are even able to use flash powered sites with its browser. You can also do all the other things you want to on your PC whether its in another room or anywhere else you might be. Just make sure if you're away from home and play games or watch video you need at least 1/2 Meg upload speed( faster the better) to minimise the lag. To those having video problems I use KMPLAYER or VLC on my PC to watch them, thus I have no codec problems! Just hope more people get this, that way the developer is encouraged to keep going as it is a real GEM in my opinion..Version: 1.05
✓ I am literally amazedI used to use desktop connect app for my remote controlling. However, it kept disconnecting, and it was too slow. I still liked it, but I could only view files, not play videos or work with my programs. This one amazed me first in price, which is about $10 less than the desktop connect ($16). Second, it literally streams your computer into your iPad. It was the fastest of all. I could play video, work with my programs, browse Internet etc... Just like I was using on my laptop. The sound also sound great, just like from your laptop. Last, when I used desktop connect, I had to leave my computer unlocked always to access it. However, in this app, I can login my computer remotely too! When I used easy connect, I had to keep my computer unlocked.. But with this app, I can leave my computer safely locked! I am so amazed with this app..Version: 1.0

✓ SuperbAn exceptional program that solves endless problems! It's a great way to control a PC (I use it above all to remote control PowerPoint presentations). It's also excellent remote way to view video stored on a PC. Any program such as this tends to sometimes require that its server app be added to Windows firewall exceptions, but it really couldn't be much more straightforward to get this running. Do pay attention to the several onscreen mouse/keyboard options: the essentials can be toggled using the small overlay (which can then be dragged out of the way). Screen refresh rates seem pretty impressive too..Version: 1.10

✓ Love it to stream video from desktop to my ipadI used to use vncstreamer for streaming videos to my ipad. But it needs format conversion, and usually I need to wait for some time. And there are certain video formats that are not supported by vncstreamer. But this app has eliminated all that work and time. I can play any videos that are supported by my desktop! No conversion required. I especially like that they use a pop window to play videos on ipad, yet prevent it from showing on desktop monitor. And the Remote Desktop control is quite smooth too. (The experience is possible because of my fast network connection though ). Meanwhile, you are able to stream flash videos open in our desktop browser, and it is way better than any other apps in the store that relays the flash content via a server.. Just hope in the future updates, they could support other Linux OS, and file transfer:)..Version: 1.12

Then use your iPad as your pc, ok it's never going to be on the same level, speed and ease of use as your core i7 dell is. But it is amazing for portability and made for the user that would rather type on their iPads than with a laptop that weighs as much as their car. You have access to anything on your PC, no bugs found yet! Get this app, plus it creeps my partner out when she sees the laptop type by itself, take control of the webcam or and shut itself down (and everything else that you can do). ✓ Excellent appI love the picture in picture. You can stream a video from your pc while also browsing your pc remotely. It's works like 2 apps multitasking. I now prefer this app to splashtop which charges 10 bucks a year (I am grandfathered in so I don't pay their fee, still prefer this app.) This app is a tremendous value, get it before everyone realizes that and they start charging what this app is worth..Version: 1.12

✓ Surprised, but in a nice way.Used to use Splashtop to remotely control my computers. However since it was updated to Splashtop 2, I have to pay a monthly fee for accessing my computer over the internet which was free before. Tried AVSreamerHD today and found it is as good as Splashtop 2 as far as remote control is concerned, and to remotely access my computers over the internet, it is free. ✓ Why am I so amazed?I think I have tried every single RDP client and Video Streaming App in the AppStore. Everything AVStreamer does can be found in other apps. Most of these application do what AVSreamer does better. Unfortunately none of these other apps do everything that AvStreamer does. The 5 star rating rewards innovation. This product still has some bugs but it shows a lot of promise. Having the ability to utilize a Remote Desktop product and simultaneously watch your video library truly solves a problem I didn't know I had. This app allows one to use a remote computer almost as we'll as the other top RD apps available while also watching almost any shared video stored on the remote machine in a reposition-able window. Wrap up what was being done on the PC? Take the video full screen and watch a movie stored on it. This product is great for traveling though it would be nice to be able to blank or lock the local screen. One can also watch a video while someone sitting locally can continue to work. ✓ WOW!!I was coming in with low expectations, but the results have been impressive!! I've only tested out with connecting to my laptop and Win 7, and I can play my AVI video files with no lag and no issues. Nice!! The other thing is using my XBMC. It started it up and played anything from Navi-X with no issues. The quality that I saw on my ipad 4 is only a reflection of the video streamed from Navi-X, but it's acceptable. I'm so impressed. My next test will be to access my laptop when I'm away from home. I love this app. :-).Version: 1.10

This app has smooth streaming of desktop between my home and work. Keyboard and mouse layout can be customised on the ipad. Changing between multi monitors is easy with swipe gestures.
